The years that followed were chaotic, and leadership at the bases changed hands constantly. The plan was eventually forgotten beneath the A City Reservoir, and in ti, even their external supply lines were severed.

Everyone gasped. The thought that a monster comparable to the Zombie Emperor might be nearby filled them with such dread that they montarily forgot all about the alien visitor.
Of course, many of them had been skeptical about the "alien visitor" in the first place. ’Who’s to say Gu Xi didn’t just invent it to scare them off and claim the Superpower Seed for herself?’

Gu Xi was the one who had personally slain the Zombie Emperor. With a similar being on the loose, he truly wouldn’t trust anyone else to handle it.

The others stood to the side, watching in silence and occasionally exchanging glances.
Just then, Shen Yue sauntered over to a corner and clapped Li Xiao on the shoulder.
"Mr. Li, what are you doing standing all the way over here?"
Li Xiao cursed inwardly but kept his expression neutral. "The military has taken full control here. I was rely invited by Mr. Tang to act as a witness."
He deliberately emphasized the words "act as a witness."
