Su Jiang’s new ho is very close to Xilena First Affiliated College, surrounded by a prosperous economy, and the living environnt goes without saying. When Uncle Zhao reminded Su Jiang that they had arrived ho, she was still in a bit of a daze.
"Hmm, thank you, Uncle Zhao." Su Jiang got out of the car, looked at the house number, and found that the villa in front of her was her new ho. What was even funnier was that there was a huge pile of boxes and packages in front of the door, so of which were covered with coarse cloth. Next to them squatted a few simple robots dressed in different outfits... Um, these must be the deliveryn, right?
Seeing the slight blush on Su Jiang’s face, Uncle Zhao smiled understandingly, then drove the hovercar to the villa in front and entered the garage. Su Jiang walked up to those robots and asked, "I’m Su Jiang, could you tell which deliveries are mine?"
The sun seed pretty strong today, would they feel uncomfortable standing here getting sunburnt? They probably need to go back and apply so lubricant for proper maintenance. In fact, these robot couriers hadn’t been here long. When Su Jiang approached to speak, they activated a character scan mode, clumsily took a simulation paper book from behind, letting her personally sign, and then used a smart brain link to scan for paynt.
After receiving the invoice printed on the spot by the delivery robots, Su Jiang looked up at the towering pile of stuff and asked the robot couriers, "There are so many things here. Can you help move them inside?"
The robot couriers nodded enthusiastically and said in a stiff synthesized male voice, "No problem, my lady!"
Once the robot couriers left, the empty hall was filled with a heap of neatly packaged items, leaving her to hop and jump around just to move. Looking at the heaps of stuff, she scratched her head and said, "What to do now, with no one to help organize things... Maybe wait until K3 and the others get out of school? Surely these guys will co over right after school, and I can pull them in as labor..."
But upon second thought, that’s not quite right either. K3 and the others are all standard rich second-generation types. They probably can’t handle these tasks. Oh, the frustration... Su Jiang sat on a big box, swinging her legs out of boredom, while the two eggs seed to dislike being wrapped in the small blanket, rolling around, hoping Su Jiang would kindly take them out...
Their efforts were rather effective, and Su Jiang finally noticed the two little fellows. Unwrapping the small blanket, they shot up into the air like they’ve been deflated for years, just before hitting the ceiling, they spun around and fell down...
"You’re getting naughtier and naughtier..." Su Jiang watched them bump around and play happily, thinking that once these Beibi hatch, they would be a handful. Already so rambunctious in the egg, who knows how wild they’ll get once they can walk and run?
Ensuring that the two little guys wouldn’t hurt themselves, she continued to worry about the manpower issue, "Ah, I should have bought a couple of household robots too, at least I wouldn’t be fretting over having no help... Wait, robots?"
A bright idea lit up on Su Jiang’s forehead, how could she have forgotten!
It seems she still has two robots given by the teaching system! But then again, considering that these might be part of the Doubi package as well, just like that terribly unreliable Doubi Flying Machine, she hesitated. If those two robots were just as... unique, wouldn’t she be asking for trouble? One Doubi Flying Machine has already caused her quite the headache.
After hesitating for a long ti, she decided to take out the two space hubs and opened them with her eyes closed, revealing the two robots before her.
The first was a male robot, standing over six feet tall, dressed in a neat tuxedo with tailcoats, wearing a pair of blindingly white gloves, his hair neatly slicked back, and wearing shiny black leather shoes... Even more shocking was his face, my god, it was exceptionally beautiful! Just based on the face, it was impossible to tell if he was male or female!
Su Jiang was puzzled, looking at an image so normal, how could it be associated with being a Doubi? In contrast, the nanny robot seed to have one or two "Doubi" potentials. It wasn’t even a humanoid robot, just a huge unopened flower bud, with a tacky bright red and green color sche. Su Jiang thought for a mont and decided to turn on the nanny’s switch first.
The petals flickered and slowly unfolded, gradually forming a slender woman in a green Flower Fairy outfit, with a large red flower on her head. In terms of looks, the nanny and the butler were quite evenly matched! When did the teaching system get so powerful?
However, such a pretty face was ruined by that green attire and the big red flower on top.
The nanny slowly opened her eyes, her electronic eyes entering high-speed operating startup mode, her originally stiff expression gradually softening, looking indeed like a living person. She blinked, glanced left and right, ignored Su Jiang standing in front, and upon finding the robot butler beside her, without a word, she raised her hand and chopped at his neck, boldly shouting, "Wake up, you deadbeat!"
Su Jiang: "..." Girl, your decorum is slipping.
Far from having his neck chopped off by the nanny’s hand chop, the robot butler seed to awaken suddenly, looking around in panic, shouting, "Ahhhhh, you madwoman, where are we... So scary!!!"
