"Little master, let’s go ho!" He patted the two eggs, reminding them to be careful later and not to get noticed.
Gu Ningxuan wasn’t going to let him walk away so easily. Cosmic Ore radiation and all that sounded dangerous; how could he run to a densely populated area? Was he planning to drag countless innocent people with him as collateral damage?
"You’re in the way..." Guan Changxi lowered his gaze slightly to look at his arm, making it quite clear: if you don’t want any trouble with your arm, don’t block his way. "If you want to repay the life-saving grace from before, or even offer yourself..."
"You’re overthinking it!" Gu Ningxuan frowned. This robot didn’t look like the usual kind of dumb robot. "I can’t just let you blend into the crowd so easily. You say the radiation from this ore is harmless to the two kids, but you didn’t ntion what happens if an ordinary person cos into contact with it! I hope you can be more rational, even if you want to..."
A large light bulb seed to light up over Guan Changxi’s head, as if rembering sothing. "Thank you for the reminder. If you hadn’t said anything, I might have forgotten about this. You’re a good person." He casually offered a good person card.
There are caras on the streets of this city; only places like these dilapidated alleyways aren’t qualified for installation.
As they walked, they inevitably left traces on the videos. He had previously committed murder; if the police followed this clue, it would cause trouble for the master. With that in mind, Guan Changxi opened his brain-computer, rapidly hacking into the city’s surveillance system and erasing the video records around here from the past hour, much to Gu Ningxuan’s shock...
"Alright, it’s done!" Guan Changxi clapped his hands, planning to head ho. But how could Gu Ningxuan just let them leave like that?
However, before he could move to stop the butler, the feeling of spiritual power sluggishness intensified. He looked incredulously at the two eggs in the stroller, watching the azure blue patterns on the eggshells co to life, spreading until they covered two-thirds of the shells.
Crack—after a soft, crunchy sound, the cosmic ore, as big as a thumbnail, crumbled into powder, resembling ordinary dirt.
Guan Changxi’s face changed suddenly; he hadn’t expected these two children to be so "willful." By working together, they were desperately absorbing spiritual energy, pushing their spiritual power to a critical point, reaching what is commonly known as a bottleneck.
When spiritual power reaches the limit of breakthrough, it’s often the most unstable. The stability of telekinesis requires the control of spiritual power; if the spiritual power falters, telekinesis erupts and can easily create a widespread storm.
Telekinesis is the sublimation and transformation of spiritual power; even a small storm can cause significant impact. Although this alleyway was a certain distance from the bustling city center, the unusual ntal fluctuations would definitely attract trouble-seeking folks.
Guan Changxi wanted to stop the two eggs, but as a robot, he inherently lacked spiritual power. Even if he had a thod to stop a spiritual power eruption, it would likely cause irreparable ntal damage to the two eggs. He’d rather attract trouble than let the eggs suffer.
In the nick of ti, he had a flash of inspiration, grabbing Gu Ningxuan. "If you don’t want to end up like Swiss cheese from my gun or beco a vegetable from a mind storm, activate a spiritual barrier around them, quickly!"
Almost instinctively, Gu Ningxuan followed Guan Changxi’s order. His previously hard and cold spiritual power transford into a gentle barrier enclosing the two eggs, preventing much of the telekinesis from leaking out. He thought it was an easy job, but how could he know the spiritual power of these two eggs was disturbingly odd? Although not intense, it made him feel incredibly uneasy and slightly pressured.
"What should I do now?" Gu Ningxuan turned to ask Changxi, feeling embarrassed. He thought the robot was joking about turning him into Swiss cheese, not expecting it to actually have hundreds of tiny gun barrels pointed at his head.
Hey, at least give so credit for his effort and labor, if not gratitude, don’t threaten his life! Even if you’re slaughtering the donkey after the millstones have been fixed, there should be a buffer. This robot wants to dismantle the bridge before even crossing it!
"Use your spiritual power to guide them, try to soothe their emotions as much as possible, and buy as much ti as you can. I’m calling for reinforcents now." It was only then Gu Ningxuan noticed Guan Changxi was using the gun to hold his head while simultaneously calling a video...
"Oh..." Gu Ningxuan responded irritably, pondering how to comfort these few-month-old eggs.
He’d only seen egg-shaped Beibi online, and didn’t know much about them, especially unsure if they had an independent spirit at this ti. But since the butler said to soothe their emotions, they might be able to communicate using spiritual power.
Gu Ningxuan closed his eyes, reinforcing the strength of the spiritual barrier, while sending friendly ssages to the two eggs, compressing the barrier’s scope. Once he truly delved into that chaotic mind storm, he realized how turbulent it was.
Soothing, after all, wasn’t a long-term solution. The two eggs seed quite haughty; tricked once, they refused to fall for it again, disregarding him entirely. The spiritual power within the barrier grew even more chaotic, and the unpleasant feelings gradually increased...
Gu Ningxuan glanced at Guan Changxi, seeing him report sothing to the person on the other side of the video, sighing inwardly that relying on others is less reliable than relying on oneself.
Observing the continuously strengthening and compressing mind storm once more, Gu Ningxuan gradually discerned so patterns. After so internal hesitation, he tentatively attempted to guide the interwoven spiritual powers of the eggs onto the right path with his own spiritual power...
These two kids were peculiar, young with significant spiritual power, and projected such a stifling presence. Not to ntion, he’d never heard of any child causing such a ruckus before even hatching from the egg...(to be continued.
