anwhile, Su Jiang was pondering how to apply for tasks to earn Plane Points, when Gu Ningzhi returned with loads of shopping bags. Seeing him almost buried by the pile, Su Jiang seriously doubted how celebratory this potentially chaotic scene would turn out to be.
"Doesn’t seem like anyone here is a child, right? Why’d you buy all these drinks and juices?" Su Jiang squatted down, picking over the items Gu Ningzhi had bought with an expression full of disdain. But with the bandages in the way, Gu Ningzhi couldn’t see it.
Gu Ningzhi smugly humd twice, lit a cigarette, and slowly exhaled a circle of white smoke. Su Jiang frowned in displeasure, she absolutely hated smoking, even more so passive smoking. If the situation allowed, she would have loved to throw a shoe at him.
"They’re obviously for you, little one..." Gu Ningzhi said, casting a provoking glance at Su Jiang and lingering around the area below the neck and above the abdon for a couple of seconds before cracking an annoyingly sly smile, "Besides, aren’t you supposed to be feeding your two little buns at ho? Drinking isn’t good for your health, be careful your babies won’t want you."

Gu Ningzhi grinned, his neat white teeth almost blinding Su Jiang, "Oh, actually just below us, there’s an entertainnt room, perfect for celebrating."
Su Jiang fell silent, deciding it was best not to converse with such a cheeky, unserious guy, or she’d risk a heart attack.
"By the way, are we really not going to get caught having a celebratory party here just like that?"
Luo Xin, now a loli, crossed her arms with a slightly annoyed expression. When her gaze landed on Gu Ningzhi, the expression intensified, "And honestly, celebrating’s pretty boring. If there’s nothing else, I think I’ll take off first."

Luo Xin’s expression shifted but she ultimately sighed with resignation, joining this self-confessedly boring "celebration."
Below this floor was a large entertainnt hall. From the desolate and unfrequented look around, it didn’t seem like a public place but rather soone’s private little space. Faced with her questioning gaze, Gu Ningzhi warmly provided an explanation.
As he sorted the large pile of bags beside him, he remarked with a touch of nostalgia and sentint, "This place is very safe; it’s a private spot I set up back during school days, highly confidential. I often ca here for so peace and quiet in the past."
Gu Ningzhi got up to switch on all the equipnt, while Su Jiang and the others lounged on the sofa, staring into space. After a while, she noticed Gu Ningxuan was staring intently at a certain spot, and couldn’t help but ask, "What’s up?"
Startled back to the present by Su Jiang’s voice, Gu Ningxuan awkwardly pulled his gaze away, trying to maintain his poker face, "Oh, nothing."
Su Jiang scratched her nose, not pressing further since he didn’t want to explain. Only when no one was watching did Gu Ningxuan sneak another glance at that spot, noticing an inconspicuous pattern on the edge of the coffee table... the Gu Family crest...
"Everything’s ready, everyone. Let’s all enjoy ourselves while we have the ti. I’ll cover all the expenses, so don’t hold back," Gu Ningzhi offered. Having been away from here for decades, he was a bit rusty with the long-unused equipnt, spending so ti to reacquaint himself.
