As soon as this thought popped up, Liu Lanyue was a little unsettled. Even though Su Jiang was the "Queen" she secretly admired, it didn’t an she could look down on the Iron Lion Team! Which was more important, she didn’t even need a second to think.
"Miss Su’s words... have crossed the boundary of confidence, right?" Liu Lanyue stared into the other party’s eyes, as if unwilling to miss any change in emotion, "To put it bluntly, it might be words like arrogance, conceit, or wishful thinking..."
Upon hearing this, Lucy felt a bit anxious inside. She had seen Su Jiang’s way of antagonizing others, but she didn’t expect that within a few exchanges, Xiao ng had already firmly captured Liu Lanyue’s animosity... There were probably more provocative tactics to follow!
"Everyone has their own opinions. If Miss Liu insists on thinking this way, there’s nothing I can do."
Su Jiang said this and sighed inwardly, making the situation too tense, estimating that there’s an eighty to ninety percent chance the deal will fall through! It looks like she really needed to spend so ti finding extras to fill in...
Although finding extras was a bit troubleso, it wasn’t without benefits. If it really ca to this, the odds between both sides should be quite terrifying, and she could steadily make a profit... Having tasted the sweetness of it, Su Jiang was a bit reluctant to stop.
Su Jiang’s persistence made Liu Lanyue slightly waver, but more than that, she was angered by the belittlent. After all, with Iron Lion Team being compared to a bunch of extras, who wouldn’t be mad? Knowing Liu Lanyue’s personality, it’s unlikely she’d take it lying down!
"Since Miss Su is so confident, I wonder if you have ti now to give a chance to witness what you’re so confident about? If you can defeat the mbers of the Iron Lion Team alone, there would be no need to bother looking for extras, our Iron Lion Team can make a friendly appearance..." Liu Lanyue asked, "Is that acceptable?"
Su Jiang’s expression remained unchanged from start to finish... Although she didn’t want to admit it, Su Jiang knew she was intrigued by what was said. Not just for the free "extras," but also because of a deep-rooted desire for combat that made her react this way.
"In that case... fine, I just hope that by the end Miss Liu’s expression will be a bit better." Su Jiang stood up, a smile in her eyes as she looked at Liu’s sowhat darkened expression, "However, when should we set the ti?"
With the almost tangible tension between the two, Lucy felt a skip in her heart and couldn’t help but chuckle wryly.
Xiao ng’s knack for inciting conflict really was troubleso. What could have been a simple discussion had escalated to this point, truly giving one a headache. Hopefully, Liu won’t take it too seriously; after all, Xiao ng is still a child...
"There’s no ti like the present, let’s do it now." Liu Lanyue pursed her lips, then added, "Many of the elite who missed this morning have classes, but will be free this afternoon. I’ll shout out in the group, they should be interested."
Despite this, the Iron Lion Team, due to the limitation of mbers, wasn’t very large, plus everyone was a student, and class tis were a setback. Every match usually saw a thirty to forty percent absence of core mbers, leaving one feeling frustrated.
Shouting in the group now, it’s unlikely many would be available for the impromptu battle. Even so, Liu Lanyue, filled with anger, typed out the situation she was encountering and shouted several tis in the group with a gaphone!
To lure more people into joining this "trampling the arrogant fool" group battle, she especially highlighted that the person challenging the entire Iron Lion Team alone was actually the one behind the popular forum challenge post!
Clearly, after such promotion, the result was delightful. The previously calm Iron Lion Team chat group exploded with a series of ssages, most asking if this was true. So wondered if today was April Fools, while others completely believed the news and were quite excited...
"If this is true, I’ll participate!" One of the administrators in the group declared firmly, "Ahhh—what a great chance for a close encounter with the forum poster... I’ve been in line for a match for a long ti, and haven’t gotten a turn yet, which is a bit frustrating. But now being able to have a private match feels quite nice, considering it a premature treat..."
