Watching from the sidelines, K3 was stunned to see his roommate’s na glaringly on the Death List. Though Su Yanjing was a bit wooden, a little cold, and liked making handcrafted models, there was nothing lacking in terms of strength.
You could say, if there were a strength ranking among the Iron Lion Team mbers, Su Yanjing’s strength would at least rank within the top ten! But now... Damn, what brutal move did Xiao ng co up with to take him out in less than ten minutes after the start?
"Ah Lei, Nana, I have to log off for a bit, if anything happens, let know," K3 said, thinking of his roommate, and feeling obligated to show so concern after years of "brotherly" friendship, he added, "Oh, also, Lulu, can you help check out the video? A sudden death of fifty people earlier, I don’t get how Xiao ng managed it... They all died at too similar a ti."
After several minutes of no activity at all, suddenly forty-plus nas appeared on the death list, leaving K3 feeling unadjusted.
Living people’s nas were in green, heavily injured were yellow, and death was an eye-catching bright red. When those red letters appeared, it was like a striking patch of red among a sea of green! The color was glaring, even more eye-catching than period blood.
"No problem!" Xu Na signaled "OK" with her hand and urged K3, "Boss Qin asked for you, better log off and deal with it quick, be speedy! Knowing Xiao ng’s quick-decision personality, if you dawdle, she might finish the match before you log back on, and you’ll miss all the fun. But if it’s really tricky, don’t forget about us either."
K3 waved his hand and clicked the log-off button on the virtual screen. After a brief bout of dizziness, the ceiling of his dorm room ca into view. Sitting up from bed, K3 didn’t spot his roommate anywhere.
"Weird, where did he go?" K3 mumbled, checking each room carefully, but his roommate was nowhere to be found. He had seen Su Yanjing right before logging on. Could the virtual death have affected him, causing an issue?
It seed unlikely; although Su Yanjing had died in the virtual network, the network had strict protection asures for such things, usually just forcing a log-off and maybe so ntal fatigue... Who hasn’t died a few tis playing in the virtual world? Could it be that Xiao ng’s violent thods struck a chord, and he’s now miserably licking his wounds?
Passing the bathroom, K3 heard the sound of running water, feeling relieved. Just then, the door clicked open, and Su Yanjing erged, shirtless, with a bath towel embroidered with chibi dolls wrapped around his lower half, a neatly folded towel perched atop his head.
"Do you need the bathroom?" Su Yanjing asked K3, a bit puzzled. Due to the forced death in the virtual network causing ntal fatigue, his face looked sowhat pale and weak, but after a quick battle shower, his body still stead with heat, his face less pale than before.
"No... No need, I actually ca to check on you." As soon as K3 said that, Su Yanjing’s eyes shifted, casting a slightly reproachful look as if saying, "I’m not into guys, you’re barking up the wrong tree."
K3 twitched his mouth corners, deciding not to probe into what the strange look ant. It’s tough being a man these days, even tougher to be a man with good brothers. One wrong move and people start watching with the "Look, he’s gay" stare for amusent.
"I watched a battle earlier and... saw your na on the Death List. I just wanted to know how you’re feeling now?" Actually, K3 wanted to inquire about his ntal state, but Su Yanjing’s response left him nearly speechless.
"Pretty good." The Queen’s fighting power far exceeded his expectations, Su Yanjing was quite satisfied, feeling no defeat because a big man like him got beaten by a little girl. In his view, losing just ant lacking strength, simply work harder next ti. There’s no need to waste valuable ti being unnecessarily disheartened.
Besides, Su Jiang was called "Queen" for a reason. She was the core of the Queen fan group, her aura and skills justified the title. It’d be disappointing if she were easily toppled over; being formidable is what gives you class.
Of course, Su Yanjing would never admit that he wasn’t feeling a bit down after losing. It was solely because the opponent’s stronger position inspired him with more creative ideas for crafting model dolls. In fact, after logging off, he found himself bursting with ideas, itching to start creating. For soone who could bring him inspiration, he decided to graciously forgive the mistake of being defeated by her.
