Xu Chunliang smiled brightly, shalessly unaware.
Shang Lijun said, "You two are scheming and calculative; my role seems to sacrifice appearances. I really lost out today."
Xu Chunliang stood up and respectfully poured a drink for Shang Lijun, saying, "Sister Shang, thank you for your hard work."
Shang Lijun took the drink and said, "If I had known the sacrifices would be this great, I would've thought twice."
Hua Zhuyue responded, "The original plan didn't include exposure, that was an accident."
Shang Lijun said, "Now I understand what a car crash scene ans. Zhu Yue, your acting is better than mine; why don't you do it yourself?"
Hua Zhuyue raised her glass and said, "I toast to Sister Shang."
Xu Chunliang said leisurely, "She seems younger than you."
Shang Lijun burst out laughing; Hua Zhuyue almost wanted to throw the drink in her hand at Xu Chunliang's face. In what way was she inferior? Is bigger necessarily better?
Xu Chunliang said, "I ant age."
Shang Lijun said, "Not happy, so you're saying I'm old."
Xu Chunliang replied, "Don't misunderstand, I ant only soone with Sister Shang's social experience could have handled tonight's events so perfectly. Even Sister Hua couldn't have done it."

Xu Chunliang wholeheartedly agreed with Hua Zhuyue's words. His current troubles stemd from not breaking Tang Tianyi's confidence back in Dongzhou. Crushing it and stepping on it several more tis back then would've prevented recent issues.
Hua Zhuyue reminded Xu Chunliang, "I suspect they will look to you to solve the problem, just place all the bla on us."
Xu Chunliang found that although Hua Zhuyue was from the Orchid Sect, she was very righteous. He smiled and said, "I'll handle it." After finishing his drink, he was the first to get up and leave, as the party school had attendance rules, and one couldn't enter the gates after eleven.
Hua Zhuyue offered to find soone to take him ho, but Xu Chunliang said it wasn't necessary.
After he left, Shang Lijun reminded Hua Zhuyue, "Be careful."
"Careful of what?"

Hua Zhuyue couldn't help but laugh, "What? Tempted? Do you want to play matchmaker for you?"
Shang Lijun said, "I'm not up to his league." Then she lowered her voice and said, "Just afraid soone might have had a change of heart."
