Xu Chunliang could tell from Tang Mingi’s expression that she probably had a story with his old man. Grandpa wasn’t wrong; this old man did have a bit of a wandering eye.
Tang Mingi hadn’t seen Xu Jiaxuan for over twenty years. When she first t Xu Jiaxuan, she was in nursing school, only seventeen, and had a brief relationship with him. But Xu Jiaxuan was quite mysterious, and she knew nothing about his family background.
They were together for less than two months before Xu Jiaxuan mysteriously disappeared, leaving Tang Mingi heartbroken for quite so ti.

Xu Jiaxuan nodded, "Indeed, she was beautiful. There was a long line of suitors after her back then."
"Did she fall for you?"
Xu Jiaxuan said, "It was fate, fleeting as it was. We were together for less than two months; she was quite naive, and I was more complicated, so we didn’t suit each other well. How is she doing now?"
The more Xu Jiaxuan wanted to know, the less Xu Chunliang said, purposely remarking, "The snow is pretty heavy."
When they passed by the TV station, they spotted a white Beetle driving out. Xu Jiaxuan recognized it as Su Qing’s car and pointed it out to Xu Chunliang.
Xu Chunliang noticed his dad’s sharp eyes. Despite the heavy snow, he could clearly see the license plate, and his mory wasn’t lacking; he rembered Su Qing’s license plate perfectly.
Due to the slippery roads from the snow, the white Beetle was moving slowly.
A Subaru Forester without a license plate quickly passed them by. Xu Jiaxuan remarked, "Driving in the snow really needs an all-wheel-drive."
His brow suddenly furrowed, "Sothing’s not right!"
Xu Chunliang didn’t know what his father ant. The Forester rapidly overtook the Beetle in front, changed lanes to get in front of the Beetle, and slamd on the brakes.
The brake and collision sounds rang out. Although the white Beetle took braking asures, due to the slippery road, the braking distance extended, and it still hit the back of the Forester.
Both cars ca to a stop, and two n and a woman got out of the Forester. The two n went to check the damage at the back first. Since the Beetle wasn’t going fast, the damage was not severe.
Su Qing got out of the Beetle, angrily questioning, "How were you driving?" Although it was a rear-end collision, it was because the other car had suddenly overtaken and then stopped abruptly, causing her to brake too late and resulting in the collision.
The woman in a fur coat, tall and heavy-set, charged at Su Qing, pointing at her nose, "You rear-ended us, and you still have the nerve to argue? We just bought this car; you pay for it!"
She rushed up, trying to grab Su Qing’s clothes. For self-protection, Su Qing put her hand up to block, unexpectedly causing the woman to fall with a thud, screaming, "She hit ... she hit ..."
Su Qing was stunned. She couldn’t believe the situation. She hadn’t hit her at all; the woman fell by herself!
The two n strode over, and the bearded man threateningly moved to hit Su Qing, shouting, "You damn well dared to hit my wife!"
Su Qing took out her phone to call the police, but unexpectedly, the bearded man slapped her phone away, making her fearful, "What are you doing? You’re totally unreasonable!"
The bearded man pointed at Su Qing, "I recognize you; you’re from the TV station. So being from the TV station makes you special? Think you can just hit people because of it?"
Su Qing thought these people were simply unreasonable. She plucked up the courage to argue, "Let’s let the police handle this."
The woman got up from the ground and hysterically charged at Su Qing, looking ready to fight to the death. Su Qing panicked, looking around for help. At that mont, a hand grabbed her arm and pulled her back.
It was Xu Chunliang who tily stepped in, standing in front of her.
The woman was about to reach Xu Chunliang, but a large hand stopped her by the forehead, preventing her from advancing any further. It was Xu Jiaxuan blocking her path.
Xu Jiaxuan said, "Ma’am, let’s talk this out."
The woman finally realized that Su Qing had gained two helpers. Her eyes darted around, and she suddenly plopped back down into the snow, wailing, "They hit , they hit !"
Xu Jiaxuan looked at his hands, "I didn’t even touch you."
The bearded man was like a lit fuse, striding toward Xu Jiaxuan, "You bastard..." and swung a hook punch at Xu Jiaxuan’s abdon.
Xu Jiaxuan sidestepped, and the bearded man missed, his punch landing hard on the nearby Beetle car door, leaving a fist mark and causing him to grimace in pain.
Xu Jiaxuan smiled, "Let’s talk it out, no need to fight! Damaging soone else’s property ans you’ll have to pay."
The bearded man lifted his foot to kick toward Xu Jiaxuan’s groin, but Xu Jiaxuan grabbed his foot and stepped back, making the bearded man cry out as he painfully did the splits on the snow, his pants ripping with a loud tear from the strain.
Xu Jiaxuan released his foot just in ti, spreading his hands innocently, "Why are you being unreasonable?"
Su Qing recognized the Xu family father and son, feeling slightly at ease; she was truly scared just a mont ago. Xu Chunliang had been worried that his dad might suffer, but seeing the situation, he realized Xu Jiaxuan was playing dumb. There was nothing simple about his dad’s skills.
Another man whipped out a baton, swinging it toward Xu Jiaxuan, who easily dodged it. The baton smashed into the Beetle’s window, cracking it.
Xu Jiaxuan said, "You’re damaging soone else’s property. Prepare to go to jail."
Xu Chunliang said, "I’ve already called the police!" He recorded the whole scene on his phone to prove that his dad hadn’t made a move.
The bearded man climbed up from the ground, flustered, grabbing a screwdriver from the car.
Seeing a flash of cold tal, Xu Chunliang warned, "Careful!"
The bearded man lunged with the screwdriver at Xu Jiaxuan, but Xu Jiaxuan caught his right wrist, giving it a slight twist, making the bearded man squirm in pain and drop the screwdriver onto the snow.
Xu Chunliang secretly praised, "Not bad, disarming a weapon with bare hands, that’s impressive. Dad’s practiced grappling; with his skills, not even three or five strongn could get close. Xu Jiaxuan’s display was making Xu Chunliang rethink his perception of his father.
The guy with the baton charged again, trying to help out his companion.
A flash of white appeared before their eyes.

It was Xu Chunliang who had thrown a snowball from a distance, hitting him in the face. Though it was just a snowball, Xu Chunliang had gripped it hard, making it solid. Thrown at high speed, it felt like a heavy punch on the nose.
Before he could react, Xu Chunliang had already rushed up and kicked him in the stomach, sending him flying. The baton in his hand also fell to the ground.
The woman lying in the snow realized things weren’t going well and got up, screaming, "Murder! Help..."
A snowball landed in her open mouth; even Su Qing couldn’t help but get involved.
Xu Jiaxuan held the bearded man’s fingers, smiling as he asked, "What’s the situation here?"
"You rear-ended us and hit us..."
Xu Jiaxuan gave a gentle twist, making the bearded man scream like a pig being slaughtered, while Xu Jiaxuan smiled, "If you don’t tell the truth, I’ll break your fingers one by one." With his experience, he imdiately saw that this car accident was staged.

At this point, the police arrived. Because of the snow, it took them a little longer than usual to get there.

What kind of trouble could a young girl just out of school cause? Xu Chunliang guessed it was probably related to the news broadcast and knew he was the cause. If they hadn’t happened to run into it tonight, Su Qing would likely have suffered.
The police took the three troublemakers away. Xu Chunliang recorded the whole thing, and the evidence was enough to prove the trio had planned to cause a disturbance.
The insurance company also ca, took pictures as part of their routine investigation, and left after completing the procedures.
After everyone else left, Su Qing approached the father and son, full of gratitude, "Thank you. If it hadn’t been for you two, I would have been in big trouble tonight."
Xu Jiaxuan laughed, "No need to thank us. With your relationship with Chunliang, I couldn’t stand by and do nothing."
Su Qing thought to herself, ’You’re mistaken; I’m not even close friends with your son.’
