"Alright, let's see if we can go ahead and hack—" As Gerald contemplated his next move, the door creaked open, startling him. A scientist with short yellow hair, clad in crisp white overalls that rustled with each step, entered the room.

"Wh-what are you doing here?! This is the morgue?!" The scientist's voice echoed slightly, a mix of confusion and alarm filling the chilly air.

Gerald spun around abruptly, his hand clumsily brushing his forehead, leaving a sar of blood across his face. He adopted a bewildered expression and stuttered, "I... I don't know. I just woke up here and tried to get up..."

The scientist hesitated, his shoes squeaking against the cold, sterile floor as he took a step back toward the door. "Oh, uh well what is your na?" he asked, his tone cautious.

Struggling to maintain his ruse, Gerald dropped to one knee, the sharp pain in his head pulsating intensely. He grimaced and pleaded, "I... I don't know, I just have this ringing pain, can you help up?" His voice was weak, barely above a whisper, as he reached out for support.

…Uh, sure, let just radio in support as well to get you so dicine, based on your attire you should be getting ready for the—

The next mont, Gerald's face transford into a mask of cold determination. His hand glowed bright blue as a sharp tal object with a blue tip erged from his palm. In a swift, fluid motion, Gerald thrust the device into the scientist's ear and yanked him forward. Clamping a hand over the man's mouth, he brought him crashing to the ground, muffling the scientist's cries.

"Shhhhh, everything's going to be okay, you're going to listen to and listen clear, is that understood?" Gerald's voice was a whisper, but it carried a chilling edge of authority as he peered into the wide, frightened eyes of the scientist, which dimd from vibrant life to a subdued light blue, signaling his compliance.

The scientist nodded weakly, "Yes... yes, sir, of course."

Gerald nodded as he stated, "Go grab a set of white robes. I am now your assistant, is that understood?"

Heui, still under the influence, nodded and replied, "But how will I convince others to believe ? It's not normal to have an assistant appear out of nowhere."

"Just tell them you needed imdiate help due to the urgency of upcoming projects, and I was the only available option. Keep it straightforward," Gerald instructed, his voice calm but firm, ensuring Heui understood the importance of the deception.

"Yes, sir, I will be right back," Heui responded, his tone now a mixture of resignation and determination as he turned to fetch the robes.

As the scientist exited the room, he sighed deeply, his gaze sweeping over the cluttered space. "We will end this chain in our lifeti for sure," he muttered under his breath, a flicker of determination crossing his face.

Gerald shook off his lingering thoughts and approached the computer where the makeshift spider had completed its task. The device's glow faded from a vibrant red to a dim pulse as it climbed up his arm, its chanical legs gently pinching his skin before powering down.

He carefully grasped the spider, concentrating as he compressed its form into a small cube with a short tal plug, a subtle click signaling its transformation.

With the compacted device in hand, Gerald moved to another terminal. As he booted up the system, he thought, "Now let's see what information we were able to pull." His fingers hovered over the keyboard, ready to dive into the new data that might hold the keys to their next move.

Gerald plugged the makeshift thumbdrive into the computer terminal, and instantly, the screen flickered erratically. After a mont of suspense, the display stabilized, flashing the ssage: "Password Accepted."

The computer's backlight shifted to a soft blue hue, casting Gerald's face in an eerie glow. As he navigated through the system, blue streams of light seed to pulse along his arms, synchronizing with the data flow. His concentration deepened as files and images began to populate the screen, revealing the facility's intricate layout.

"Perfect, a map of this place," Gerald murmured, tracing a route with his finger on the screen. "I'm just about two floors away from the Tech room."

Most of the information was routine, with extensive logs of morgue records stretching back years. Gerald scrolled through the data with a practiced eye until sothing caught his attention, causing him to pause. An image flashed on the screen—a face he recognized.

"Hey, this is that demon. What the hell?" Gerald leaned closer, disbelief etching his features. Realizing the gravity of his discovery, he knew this was crucial information. "I need to let the leader know about this," he resolved, already considering the implications of his find on their broader objectives.
