He scratched his head, the fabric of his orange robe rustling softly as he processed the situation. "But I do rember Jui-Lao ntioning he t a blue goddess. You instructed him to watch over that demon, didn't you?"

Blue, now seated in his palm with a smug expression, nodded confidently. "That's right! Though... only because he has a mission to fulfill. One I can't exactly talk about right now." She gave a dramatic sigh, as though the weight of the world rested on her tiny shoulders.

Fui-Rui nodded slowly, his eyes softening with understanding. "I see. Well, I can't say I've ever t a goddess or one of her fairies before, but it's an honor."

Blue bead, her wings fluttering proudly. "Of course it is."

JJ, feeling the tension slip from her shoulders, stepped forward and cleared her throat. "Right. Now, about Alexander..."

Fui-Rui snapped back to the conversation, his eyes brightening with recollection. "Oh, right. If you're looking for Alexander, he's in the VIP lounge for sponsors, just down the hall. Straight through the golden doors."

JJ nodded, her eyes darting toward the direction he indicated. "Thanks, Fui-Rui. I appreciate it."

Blue fluttered back to JJ's shoulder, giving Fui-Rui a mock salute before settling down comfortably. "Let's hope this Alexander fellow isn't as stuffy as the rest of them," she whispered into JJ's ear, her tone playful but conspiratorial.

JJ's lips twitched into a faint smile, but her mind was already turning over the next steps. The situation was becoming more complicated by the minute, but there was no backing out now. She nodded at Fui-Rui once more before turning on her heel and heading down the hall, Blue's wings fluttering gently against her neck as they walked.

Fui-Rui watched them go, his brow furrowed in quiet contemplation, the weight of the goddess's fairy still lingering in his thoughts long after they had disappeared behind the golden doors.

JJ took a breath as she approached the gleaming entrance. The doors, towering high above her, were intricate, with veins of gold threaded through dark, polished tal. They shimred faintly, reflecting the low light of the hall. Blue, perched on her shoulder, fluttered her wings softly as if sensing the shift in the air. Without hesitation, JJ pushed the doors open.

The mont she stepped inside, the room unfolded before her—a grand, sprawling space that seed too large to fit behind the doors she had just passed through. The ceiling stretched upward in a do, the walls lined with elegant tapestries and curved mirrors that refracted light into shimring pools on the floor.

The furniture was sleek, low to the ground, yet the materials were of the highest quality. Dark leather, deep velvet, and accents of gold gave the room an atmosphere that was both opulent and cold, like sothing ant to impress but not comfort.

Her eyes were imdiately drawn to the figure dominating the room—a man seated on a massive, curved couch at the far end. He towered over everything, his broad shoulders and muscular fra imposing even while seated. Easily over seven feet tall, his presence seed to weigh down the very air around him.

His hair was short, peppered with grey, and his jawline was hard as if it had been carved from stone. He wore a long coat that fell open at his sides, revealing a sharply tailored suit underneath, the fabric stretched taut over his enormous fra. His eyes were focused, narrowed as he scribbled notes into a black journal with thodical precision.

Behind him, a large, reinforced screen showed Alexander, the man JJ had co to discuss. He was in the middle of what seed like a rigorous training regin. His body moved fluidly through complex forms, muscles rippling as he struck the air with precision, his feet gliding over the floor as if executing a dance.

A series of targets popped up intermittently, each one eting its end with a sharp, powerful strike from Alexander's fists or feet.

JJ paused at the entrance, watching Alexander's movents. There was a beauty in the brutality, the way his body moved with purpose, each strike deliberate and final. But even as he perford, there was sothing off. The sheer exhaustion etched into the lines of his face was impossible to ignore.

The large man on the couch didn't even look up from his notes as he spoke. His voice rumbled through the room like distant thunder, low and unhurried. "I haven't asked for any food," he said, his tone making it clear that he wasn't in the mood for unnecessary interruptions.

JJ blinked, caught off guard by the statent. "I... I'm not here to bring food," she responded carefully, stepping further into the room. Her eyes darted between the towering man and the screen where Alexander continued his training. She cleared her throat. "I'm here to talk about Alexander."

The man finally looked up from his journal, his sharp eyes landing on her with the weight of a falling anvil. JJ felt the pressure in the room double, as if his gaze alone was enough to pin her to the spot. His presence was suffocating—like standing too close to the edge of a cliff while a storm raged behind you.

He didn't move from his seat, but the way he watched her made it clear he didn't need to. Every inch of him radiated authority. Explore more at My Virtual Library Empire

"And who might you be?" he asked, his tone not aggressive, but asured, as though he already knew the answer but wanted to hear her say it.

JJ swallowed hard, trying to ignore the knot forming in her stomach. "I'm JJ, a sponsor... for the tournant." She hesitated briefly, asuring her next words. "I ca to talk to you about Alexander, but... not for the reason you think."

The large man raised an eyebrow, his dark gaze locked onto hers with an intensity that made her feel even smaller than she already did in his presence. His silence urged her to continue.
