Ty's eyes widened, his pulse quickening, a mix of fear and confusion washing over him. "W-what the hell is going on?" he managed, his voice cracking, his body tensing as she leaned over him, her presence overwhelming, her scent intoxicating.
The goddess placed a finger on her cheek, her eyes twinkling with amusent. "A demon, you say?" she murmured, her voice carrying a hint of disbelief. "You know, demons were supposed to have died out ages ago—a failed project, or so I've heard." She traced a finger along the edge of the bed, her gaze never leaving his. "Though, I do rember a few of them ascending... but that was such a long ti ago."
Ty struggled against the bindings, the energy crackling against his skin, his breath coming in ragged gasps. "No, really, look," he said, fighting against the restraints, managing to summon a small flicker of black fla, letting it swirl around his body. He clenched his jaw, the effort evident on his face.
The goddess's eyes widened, her gaze fixed on the fla, her expression shifting, a mixture of curiosity and sothing like recognition. "Well... that is a bit more convincing," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. She leaned in closer, her eyes searching his, her lips hovering near his ear. "But that still doesn't explain why you're here... and why you don't fear ." Her breath was warm against his skin, her tone almost vulnerable. "Am I not worth respecting? Am I too ugly for sothing like that?"
Ty's eyes t hers, and for a mont, he saw past the fierce exterior—the vulnerability, the doubt that lay beneath. He hesitated, unsure of what to say. "It's not that," he finally said, his voice soft, his gaze steady. "You... you're powerful. But I have soone I care about, soone I need to get back to. And I can't let anything stop from doing that."
The goddess's eyes glistened, her expression faltering for a mont, a tear threatening to spill. She turned her head away, her jaw clenched, her hand tightening around the scepter. "A loved one, huh?" she whispered, her voice barely audible. "Soone more lovely than , perhaps?" She let out a bitter laugh, her shoulders trembling slightly.
Ty nodded, his eyes softening. "Yes," he said simply, his voice unwavering. "She ans everything to . And I'll do whatever it takes to get back to her."
The goddess was silent, her gaze focused on a point sowhere beyond him, her expression unreadable. Slowly, she turned back to him, her eyes locking onto his, the faintest hint of a smile tugging at her lips. "The mortal realm... the angelic bastards..." she muttered, shaking her head. "You shouldn't even know about it. Or about . Or this place."
Ty took a deep breath, his chest tightening. "It's a long story," he said, his voice steady. "But can you help or not?" He held her gaze, his eyes pleading, the weight of his words hanging in the air.
The goddess smirked, her blue eyes glinting mischievously. "In short, I cannot," she whispered, leaning forward, her hands resting on either side of his head. She climbed over him, straddling his waist as she ran her fingers through his hair, her touch sending shivers down his spine. "But if you win the tournant... I can give you ."
Ty's breath caught, his heart pounding in his ears. "I..." He tried to speak, but her scent was overwhelming, a heady mix of lavender and sothing sweeter, almost intoxicating. He could feel his thoughts growing hazy, the warmth of her body pressing against his, her fingers tangling in his hair. It had to be so kind of drug—sothing to make him lose control.
"I'm sorry," he managed, his voice strained, "but my love is only for one. No matter what drugs you use on ... I won't falter in that departnt. I don't even know you." Find adventures on My Virtual Library Empire
The goddess's smile faltered for a brief mont, her eyes narrowing. She held the scepter up, the tip glowing with an intense blue light. She pressed it gently against his forehead, the light enveloping him. Ty blinked, his vision blurring, and suddenly, the face above him shifted. The blue hair darkened, her eyes softening, and in an instant, Jade appeared above him.
"Is this who you'd rather look like?" she asked, her voice teasing, her lips brushing against his ear. She leaned closer, her words echoing the mory in his mind. "Don't let hinder you on your way back. If you need to use females or connections, do whatever it takes."
Ty's heart clenched at the words. He looked into her eyes—no, the goddess's eyes, but she wore Jade's face. He shook his head, his voice trembling as he spoke. "While those words may be true, I need a real connection, emotionally and... sexually. I can't just act on them without that."
The goddess's eyes narrowed, and she let out an amused laugh. She snapped her fingers, her form shifting once more. Her hair turned black, her eyes cold and calculating, and suddenly, it was Yun-Jin looking down at him, her expression fierce. Then, another shift—her form changed again, her hair turning dark red, her face softer. JJ's familiar features stared back at him, her lips curving into a smirk.
"I know you have a strong connection to these ladies," the goddess said, her voice carrying a hint of jealousy. Her form shifted yet again, this ti to a small woman with blue hair, her features delicate, her eyes wide with curiosity. "And what of this one?" she asked, her tone dripping with curiosity. "I don't recognize her. She must not be from here."
Ty's eyes widened, his heart pounding even harder. He didn't know who this blue-haired woman was, but the goddess seed to have picked her out from his mories. He clenched his jaw, trying to keep his thoughts clear, trying not to let her get to him.
"Regardless," the goddess continued, her form shifting back to her original self, her blue hair cascading over her shoulders, her body pressing closer to his. "I can help you get back to whatever or however you need... but I have favors I need as well." She held out a small amulet, placing it in his hand, her fingers brushing against his as she did so. Her touch lingered, her eyes locking onto his.
