“Do you know how to?” Jian Yiling asked.
“Well, I’ve seen it on TV!” Wen Zhe replied as he stroked his little chin. Then, he explained to Jian Yiling in a serious tone: “To be honest, I don’t enjoy watching those dramas. However, my mother likes to watch them. She always pulls me beside her to watch the dramas with her. And then, I have to watch her wipe her tears away with tissues. Sigh… Women…”
The last sigh made Wen Zhe seem like a seventy or eighty year old man.
Wen Zhe continued to mutter: “I like reading books more. However, my mother said that I’m already smart enough. If I read more books, I will bee dumb. Therefore, she always tells me to watch dramas. Apparently, watching dramas helps one to keep up with the times. And thus, I watched heaps of dramas with her. For example, some were titled, , , . I watched all of them… I even watched some very unrealistic idol dramas such as , , and …”
Wen Zhe began to count dramas on his fingers to illustrate the number of romance dramas he had watched with his mother over the years.
He was showing off his ‘rich experience’.
“That’s amazing,” Jian Yiling mented.
“Hehehe, so don’t worry! If you want to sleep with my future brother-in-law, leave the planning to me!” Wen Zhe said as he patted his own chest to assure Jian Yiling.
Then, Wen Zhe took out a pen and a piece of paper. He began to make notes on it to analyze the situation.
Pick the right time;
Weekdays were not suitable as typically, one would be tired after work. This meant that weekend evenings were the best time.
Pick the right location;
Hotels were too casual. Travel locations were more romantic. Being at home was safer.
Ensure that no one else would disturb you.
The two brothers living in the opposite apartment had to be distracted. Furthermore, work matters had to be arranged in advance and mobile phones had to be turned off.
Ensure that his future brother-in-law would be unable to escape.
As he wrote this, Wen Zhe began to bite on his pen. This was a bit challenging. He had to think about this.
Jian Yiling glanced at Wen Zhe’s notes.
She asked: “Why do we need to make work arrangements in advance? And why do we need to turn off our phones?”
Wen Zhe replied: “According to my experience of watching movies and dramas, during these times, someone will always e barging in. Furthermore, if the couple is kissing and making out when the phone rings, they will be disrupted.”
Wen Zhe had already forgotten that he claimed to be in an ‘alliance’ with Jian Yiheng and Jian Yichen.
Now, he had shifted over to help Jian Yiling instead.
Upon hearing this, Jian Yiling said: “Oh, that makes sense.”
“See, I’m right,” Wen Zhe said. Then, he muttered: “But this point is tricky. How do I make my future brother-in-law not escape? On TV, they often use alcohol to make the man drunk.”
“A Sheng can’t drink alcohol.”
“Sometimes, they use drugs as well. However, I have nowhere to buy those drugs… How inconvenient…”
“He shouldn’t eat random drugs either.”
“And the use of tonics and stuff. They mentioned deer blood and stuff. If girls consume that, they can have a baby.” Then, Wen Zhe paused for a moment. “Speaking of which, how exactly do you get a baby? Why is deer blood helpful?”
Wen Zhe only knew the things that were played on TV. However, on TV, the couple would only hug and kiss. There was nothing more than that.
After they hugged and kissed, the camera would shift.
And after a while, the woman would miraculously bee pregnant.
