1439 Rescuing Long Yuetian Once Again (3)
“Your video call with Yiling was interrupted,” Zhai Zhongshen replied.
Ahh right. She was talking to Yiling before she got kidnapped.
Upon hearing this reply, she realized Yiling was probably super worried about her, and Zhai Zhongshen was probably here because of Yiling’s pleas.

As Long Yuetian thought about this, the tinge of happiness in her heart disappeared. Regardless, she was thankful to Zhai Zhongshen for rescuing her.
“Wait a moment,” Zhai Zhongshen said. He brought Long Yuetian’s thoughts back to the present moment.
Then, he left Long Yuetian’s side.
As soon as he left, Long Yuetian felt as if she had lost something. She felt inexplicably uneasy.
However, immediately afterward, Long Yuetian heard screams of pain from the two men who kidnapped her.
The sound was shrill and piercing and sounded as though a pig was getting murdered.
Even though she still could not see, Long Yuetian could guess what Zhai Zhongshen was doing.
He was taking revenge for her.
Long Yuetian’s heart felt warm again. Even though she knew he was helping her because of Yiling, she was still incredibly thankful for everything he did today.
After a while, the screaming stopped and only weak and painful whimpers remained.
Then, Long Yuetian was picked up in bridal fashion.
“I…” Long Yuetian started as she instinctively grabbed onto Zhai Zhongshen’s clothes in fear of falling down.
“You don’t need to do this. I can walk by myself,” Long Yuetian explained nervously.
However, Zhai Zhongshen did not appear to hear her words. He continued to carry her out of the room.
Once outside, there was a light source. The sudden light made Long Yuetian’s eyes unfortable.
After a little adjustment, Long Yuetian saw the side of Zhai Zhongshen’s face.
His face was cold and stern.
However, as always, his face had an indescribable mature charm.
As she was being bridal carried by him, Long Yuetian’s heartbeat accelerated uncontrollably.
“Get rid of all of them,” Zhai Zhongshen ordered his subordinates.
“Don’t worry. No one here can escape.”
Then, Zhai Zhongshen carried Long Yuetian to the car that had been waiting at the entrance.
When they got to the car, Long Yuetiian was placed in the spacious back seat.
The back seat of the car could also be flattened.
Zhai Zhongshen took out a medicine box that contained Jian Yiling’s special medicine for treating bruises and scratches.
When Long Yuetian noticed that Zhai Zhongshen was going to apply medicine to her cuts and bruises, she hurriedly refused and said: “No no. I’m fine. I’m not hurt.”
He rescued her just in time. She only suffered a few light injuries.
She did not want Zhai Zhongshen to apply medicine to her wounds especially because she would bee flustered when he got closer to her.

However, that no longer mattered. Both of them would not be able to walk with their legs or grab anything with their hands for the rest of their life.
Long Yuetian gave up resisting and let Zhai Zhongshen apply the medicine.
Cotton swabs gently wiped over her wounds.
As this was being done, Long Yuetian desperately tried to not care about the distance between them and where he was applying medicinal cream to.
Suddenly, Zhai Zhongshen’s hand rested on a place she did not have a wound.
It was as if he wanted to wipe away the traces of those two bastards with his own hand.
When this happened, Long Yuetian’s eyes widened with surprise. She did not expect Zhai Zhongshen to make such a move.
