Jasper Shaw raised an eyebrow, lifting his gaze slightly. "Who?"

Ian Winters hesitated for a mont. Seeing Jasper Shaw’s impassive expression, he said, "There’s only one person who could claim a connection to the Shaw Group... and that would be your father’s..."

Ian Winters had no choice. Head bowed, his voice was barely a whisper. "If I’m not mistaken, your father’s mistress is nad Linda Warren."

"Hah!"

Hearing the na, Jasper Shaw’s lips curled into a scornful smirk.

"That woman has so nerve."

Ian Winters nodded in complete agreent.

After all, everyone knew that at the Shaw Group, President Shaw was the one solely in charge. He had an iron grip on the shares, and even the veteran board mbers had to follow his lead.

Everyone within the Shaw Group knew President Shaw and the elder President Shaw were at odds. Though father and son, certain events had turned them into bitter enemies.

When he finished, his voice held a hint of apology. "I’m sorry. I didn’t an to cause you trouble. I’ll treat you to dinner when I’m free in a couple of days."
