From Trash to Treasure: The Sinclair Family's Beloved Genius Chapter 36: Kicked Out of the House
"Wha... what?"
Chloe Sinclair stared blankly at Jasper Shaw, unable to process his words for a mont.
Seeing the surprise in Chloe Sinclair’s eyes, Jasper Shaw felt an inexplicable sense of delight.
He teased, "Not willing, hmm?"
The man’s charming voice was low and lodic, like a cello in an old cathedral, its tone deep and srizing as he spoke.
Chloe Sinclair subconsciously took a couple of steps back and touched her reddening ears. "Mr. Shaw?"
"Good girl." Jasper Shaw was in a fantastic mood, a smile gracing his lips. "Here’s your phone."
As he spoke, he pulled a pink-cased phone from his suit pocket.
Watching him, Chloe Sinclair couldn’t help but feel the phone looked completely out of place in his hand.
"My contact information is on there. You can call if you run into any trouble."
Chloe Sinclair nodded and scrolled through her contacts. Sure enough, there was a new, naless entry.
After a mont, Chloe Sinclair said, "Let’s add each other on WeChat."
Jasper Shaw’s expression visibly stiffened, and a flash of confusion crossed his eyes.
No one would have guessed that President Shaw, a man who had dominated the business world for over a decade, had no idea what WeChat was.
"Do all you young ladies enjoy using WeChat?"
"Not exactly," Chloe Sinclair said with a hint of a smile. "It’s that all of us young people like to use WeChat."
Then, as if a thought just struck her, she asked in mock surprise, "Mr. Shaw, don’t tell you don’t even know what WeChat is?"
Her words hit a sore spot, and Jasper Shaw’s expression beca a little awkward.
He hesitated for a mont, quickly fabricating an excuse. "I forgot my account details. I’ll text you when I get back."
With that, he turned and strode away.
Chloe Sinclair watched Jasper Shaw’s retreating figure and couldn’t help but cover her mouth to stifle a laugh.
She had done it on purpose, of course.
After all, having spent so many years with Jasper Shaw in her past life, she knew he was hopelessly old-fashioned.
’Hmph. That’ll teach you to tease .’
Chloe Sinclair scoffed, then walked away with a spring in her step.
By now, the banquet had mostly wound down, leaving only Mr. Sinclair and Landon Sinclair in the hall.
Both had had a bit to drink and were unsteadily helping each other stay upright.
When Mr. Sinclair saw his daughter enter, his face broke into a wide smile. "Chloe, you really made your old man proud today! Now let’s see who dares to say a bad word about my daughter!"
Mr. Sinclair was a little drunk. Chloe Sinclair said nothing, simply helping Landon guide their father to a sofa.
Once he was settled, she had the driver co in to take him ho, leaving her and Landon to handle the rest.
The wealthy businessn present no longer dared to underestimate the true heiress of the Sinclair family, so the last of the goodbyes went smoothly, with no one trying to give them a hard ti.
At three in the morning, Chloe Sinclair finally saw off the last guest. She couldn’t help but yawn, ready to go ho and get so much-needed sleep.

「The Sinclair Villa」
After confirming several tis that Chloe Sinclair was resting, the three n of the Sinclair family—the father and sons—summoned Nina Sinclair to the study.
The study was brightly lit, but no one spoke.
Nina Sinclair knelt in the middle of the study, her eyes red-rimd, looking as though she had suffered so terrible injustice.
"Nina Sinclair, I recall telling you that I would only give you one chance to change your ways."
"Dad, I really know I was wrong!"
Nina Sinclair remained kneeling on the floor, tears streaming down her face.
In the past, her tears would have always earned his sympathy.
But this ti was different. When Mr. Sinclair heard her crying yet again, he felt a sudden surge of irritation.
"Leave. And don’t ever co back to the Sinclair ho again."
