About two days have passed since we’ve returned back to the junkyard, everyone is caught up. The day was already starting and I was up trying to figure out where to go today.
"Monsters are going through a stage of evolution." Akina speaks up, interrupting the silence.
I haven’t really thought about the monsters lately since I’ve been a bit preoccupied but that sounds like a big deal. Monsters evolving could an more problems for hunters.
"How bad is it?" I ask with a bit of concern in my voice.
"I think we’ll still be able to deal with them. Even so high ranking hunters should still be just fine but it might be a little harder for the lower ranking hunters." Akina answers while leaning back on the couch.
Evolution is only natural after a certain amount of ti passes. This is definitely sothing that you’ll have to relay to soone at the guild.
Wouldn’t they be questioning how I know this?
I’m sure they have hunters who keep an eye for any changes that occur with the monsters so you could say that you saw sothing happening.
You seem to have so good ideas like usual so I’ll rely on you. It seems like a trip back to Caelmaris is going to be the play at hand.
Eventually I’m going to get sick of heading back there but we have plenty of good reasons to go there. There is a lot to see there anyway.
"Doesn’t that an we’ll need to take another trip?" Ghost asks with curiosity in her voice.
"That’s exactly what we need to do." I respond without hesitation.
"I’d love to co along this ti." Akina speaks with a bit of excitent.
Ghost, Akina, and Velia might be a good group to bring this ti around. I’ll feel bad leaving Lilly behind but she did co with on the last trip so it isn’t that big of a deal.
Though, I do hate leaving people behind usually. It would just be way too much to bring most of them with .
"Alright. Ghost, Akina, and Velia. That’s everyone coming along this ti since I want to keep a decently small group for now." I say while looking at each of them.
"Back to seeing things outside. Then again, I could’ve without you anyway." Velia replied with her usual monotone voice.
"Well, off we go then." Akina chis in before snapping her fingers.
She snaps her fingers like before, a portal appears once again. At least that’s the best way to describe it.
"Just don’t leave here too long please." Lilly speaks with a bit of sadness in her voice.
"I won’t." I said before walking towards the portal.
Being able to get around fast like this is definitely way easier than walking everywhere. I’d say that we got quite lucky with Akina joining our group.
She provides us with a lot of different advantages that others could only dream of having.
Regardless we went through the portal and within a matter of monts we were back in Caelmaris once again. The city was pretty busy, which kind of felt normal for the most part.
Last ti it was a bit quieter since the rumors of a war were going around but now it doesn’t seem too bad.
"It is so interesting to see a world like this using flying carriages. I guess so people are ant to revert to the old ways." Akina says with a bit of amusent in her voice.
"Glad you enjoy the sight." Velia responds with her usual monotone voice.
She really doesn’t change. I think briefly in the tower she had so care in her voice but that was about it. Since then she seems to be back to her usual self which is perfectly fine.
There’s not really any good reason for to question it.
Slowly you are becoming quite the savior you know. Preventing a war, saving cities, and now going to give a warning about monsters evolving.
I just don’t want to see anyone suffer like I did all those years after Minami died. I’d prefer to do my best to keep it that way for as long as possible.
I’m sure it won’t be an easy path to stay on bit I’ll definitely work hard to make sure that people can survive.
"I take it we are heading for the guild here?" Akina asks with a bit of a curious look in her eyes.
"Yes we are. Probably best to bead there now." I respond before walking past them.
It definitely felt like it has been awhile since I’ve been here in Caelmaris but it was also kind of nice. Walking through the streets again after leaving this place for so long.
I also got a taste of Elyndra thanks to the potential war at the ti. It seems that there will be a lot for to see as ti continues to go on.
There’s also a lot for to consider going forward as well. I can feel a brief tug on my shirt as we start to reach Aetherion.
Turning to my right I can see that it is Ghost tugging on my shirt. "Everything alright?" I ask curiously.
"Everything is fine, I was just thinking. We always seem to return here. It’s kind of interesting." Ghost responds with a slight smile on her face.
"It just happens to be a key place for us to return to haha." I say with a small laugh.
Caelmaris wasn’t a bad place to visit, we just always end up back here. More than Ashvalis, that’s for sure.
But I don’t know what to expect from the guild here when I tell them about the whole monster evolution thing. It is going to be quite interesting to see how they take it.
I’m sure that cocky guy is going to be here like always as well so that is sothing to consider.
