My fist was already in motion, inches away from hitting the back of the Angel. But my hand wasn’t connecting with him whatsoever, almost like it was impossible to reach him.

Would the pain from the sword slashing across be worst than anything else I’ve felt? Or maybe it would be an underwhelming feeling... Sothing that doesn’t actually hurt that bad.

I lunge forward to catch her as she falls back, gunfire attracted his attention once again so I had a mont to deal with Ghost. The sword cut right down her chest and left a pretty big opening...
After catching her I dropped down to the ground while holding her. "You’ll be okay, I’m sure you will." I reassure her while trying to keep my composure.
Even if this wasn’t sothing permanent... It doesn’t make it any easier to deal with. She can still feel these things and it will still be sothing that she always rembers.
"Rokuro, I think that it was worth it to protect you. You are always protecting us without any care about what happens to you." Ghost responds with a soft hum coming from her chest.
"I’m grateful for that, really... I am. You’ll be okay though." I assure her while holding her close.
The battle was still raging on behind us but this wasn’t easy for to just let go. Minami died right in front of ... I can’t just watch soone die like this again so I won’t just let this happen.
You might be able to use so of your power to seal her wound at the very least.
Will that really be enough to keep her alive?
I can’t guarantee anything. It will be entirely based on her will to stay alive.
Damnit! I’ll just do it anyway since it ans that she’ll have a chance to survive this whole thing. I don’t want her to lose any mories if she has to be worked on all over again.
She won’t permanently die with around but I still can’t handle the thought of that whole thing happening.
I place one of my hands on her wound while beginning to focus, slowly feeling my power starting to shift towards my hand. It flows throughout my entire body but it was evenly distributed until now.
A bit of a red glow started to form from my right hand as her wound begins to close slowly. It only took a few seconds but the wound was finally closed and there was no more blood coming out.
"Just hang in there until the fight is over Ghost." I say before putting her down gently.
She definitely passed out from the loss of her synthetic blood but that’s fine. For now I know that she is okay with the wound closed.
Looking down at my hands I could see her blood all over them, it was starting to give flashbacks from back then. Visions of Minami were playing over and over again in my head.
"Everyone dies around you." Soone says while passing by.
"Why is he even still here?" A man asks.
"People will only die if he is here." Another man speaks with a bit of disgust.
None of that is true. People won’t keep dying with around... I’ve been protecting people ever since this power awakened. Those words aren’t true!

My body felt like it was getting even hotter than before, my heart was beating so loud that the noise felt like it was starting to disappear around .

I begin to grit my teeth as I clench my fists. It was ti to get back into the fight, ti to put an end to pieces of shit like him. So I finally stood up and within an instant I pushed off the ground.
Pieces of the floor broke around where I pushed off of, but it didn’t take long to reach him once again. This ti I wouldn’t be stopped by so stupid barrier of white light.
Bam!!!!!!! My fist imdiately connected with the sa white barrier of light as before... Except I could feel my fist starting to break through it this ti.
More scales consud my arms as my vision started to distort, making it hard to see what was happening.
The Angel turned around just in ti to see the barrier shatter before his eyes. "I wasn’t expecting you to break that at all. Wait a second!" He shouts, even with the smile still there.
"I’m going to kill you." I respond with a serious tone, leaving no room to talk further.
