We made our way closer towards the person in the room until finally the appearance beca more noticeable. A girl with straightened red hair that extended past her shoulders, two horns on her head, and tattered clothing was finally up close.
A girl like this just chained up down here is definitely strange but it feels like it would be dumb for to interact with her. The thought of freeing soone like this could be suicidal too.
"What are we doing about her?" Ghost questions while slowly gripping her sword.
That’s definitely a good question since I don’t want to just kill her but at the sa ti she could pose a threat. What would the right option be in a scenario like this?
Suddenly the girls eyes began to open, revealing dark red eyes to match her hair. "...Who are you...? So perv..?" She asks softly with a bit of disgust in her voice.
"No, why are you chained here?" I respond while keeping calm.
Keeping my cool will allow to get my information without causing a panic, even with this damn feeling pulsing throughout my body.
I’m slowly adjusting to it... Just a weird feeling to have constantly. The feeling of my insides burning.
"I don’t rember. It’s been a long ti, I know that much." She answers with sadness in her voice.
She definitely gives off quite the appearance so I don’t know if she’s chained because she’s evil or if she’s been falsely accused of sothing.
"So in short we don’t even know if you’re an enemy or not." Ghost speaks up with a bit of caution in her voice.
"I wouldn’t harm you guys if you freed ." She says without any hesitation.
Liar.
She couldn’t be lying... Or maybe she could since she is in a desperate situation. Do I really want to risk this for so random girl that could be an absolute monster?
My vision was starting to distort once again as I looked at her, a familiar feeling from when this first happened. It wasn’t painful but it was definitely enough to throw off.
"You don’t seem to know what’s happening to you either." She continues while looking directly at .
"It doesn’t matter." I reply with more of a serious tone.
I rub my eyes briefly before focusing back on the girl.
"It does. You are becoming sothing strong so it might help to know what’s going on." She insists.
To know what’s happening to would probably be a big help so maybe I should consider helping her. She could be helpful when it cos down to finding my purpose too.
Ahhhh. I didn’t think such a decision would be such a pain in the ass but I’m going to have to do it.
"Do you at least rember your na?" I ask while taking on more of a relaxed tone.
"Lilly." She answers.
Lilly huh, so now that would be two people accompanying . I don’t see it being a permanent thing since I really don’t want a big group to begin with.
I break the chains with ease and Lilly falls onto the floor. A small grin was on her face but she didn’t seem to have a malicious aura to her.
At least that’s the best I can read from her, sothing about this sight is helpful with that for so reason. Ghost has this strange blue aura to her while Lilly has a mix of green and blue.
I don’t know what that ans just yet so I’ll have to play it by each encounter I have with people so I can understand it better.
"So are you going to tell us what’s happening to him?" Ghost asks with a bit of concern in her voice.
That was one of the main reasons I freed her since she might have a clue about what’s happening to .
"By the look of it, you are awakening or... Becoming a dragon. The ranking for such a thing is quite high too." Lilly answers while observing .
"You understand the rankings of this world, yet you don’t rember why you were chained here?" I question with a bit of confusion.
That doesn’t really make a lot of sense to since she’s not able to rember her reason for being trapped. Knowing the ranks of this world would make no sense since she doesn’t even rember the past.
"It’s not hard to understand. They had it a long ti ago too." Lilly responds with a bit of an annoyed tone.
"So what would sothing like this at its full power be equivalent to then?" I ask with curiosity in my voice.
"SSS. You could potentially beco an SSS ranking dragon based on what I’m seeing already." She answers with a serious expression on her face.
It’s good to know that she isn’t joking around with this because I was already having a hard ti the mont she ntioned the rank. That’s such an incredibly rare rank to hear about in the world that I don’t even know if it’s true.
What if she is just trying to make feel good about freeing her or sothing?
I scratch my head and look back towards the door to see it’s still open.
"Alright, alright. Let’s get out of here, we need to get you so better clothes for now." I say before turning around.
"Aye aye Captain." Lilly replies with her serious tone disappearing completely.
We made our way back out of the room and down the long corridor once again until we reached the room from before. I took the chance to grab sothing from the monster I killed before.
Best to take sothing with if I decide to go to any guild since it could make so Silvite in the process.
"I can imagine that it was you who killed it. Will other humans really be okay seeing soone like you?" Lilly asks with a curious tone.
