From a Talentless nobody to An SSS Class Dragon Chapter 193: Who Needs School?

I pushed the thoughts of that nightmare away and got up. The sun seems to be coming up finally so it is about ti I got ready for school.

It didn’t take very long since there isn’t really a dress code for school. I put on casual clothes like always and grabbed my bag to go.

"Rokuro! Are you ready yet!?!" Minami shouts from downstairs.

"Yeah! I’m coming!" I shout back while exiting my bedroom.

School really isn’t going to benefit much when I can just beco a chanic instead of sothing. It’ll be a lot more useful to in the future anyway.

The amount of stuff that I’ll be able to accomplish is huge. There’s just a lot out there that needs soone like .

Lots of machines that could be fixed up and sold or things that can be fixed up for to use too. The possibilities are actually endless for .

A junker.

I made it downstairs after a few monts, Minami was waiting by the door like usual. "Glad to see that you are ready on ti." Minami says with a smile.

"I’m always ready on ti." I reply confidently.

"Sure. Let’s get going." She says while opening the door.

I gave a wave goodbye to the cyborg version of Mom and made my way to school with Minami. She would go to the building next to mine but it wasn’t far at least.

All the kids around were walking with their friends and having a great ti.

Personally it didn’t bother much since I didn’t really care for school all that much. But I made it to class without any issues, it was what you’d expect of a school.

Kids all around in their different groups talking, making fun of others, enjoying our youth.

Finding a way to get to a place like that would be great. The thought about the floating city of Elyndra was all I could think about as I stared out the window.

The people up there must enjoy themselves quite a bit since they don’t have to deal with anything down here. We have so many different problems to deal with all the ti.

But I guess most people couldn’t afford to live up in a place like that anyway. It costs way too much money just to get a ticket up there.

You either do it that way or you find a way to prove that you are worth bringing up there. A junker would definitely not be a way to go about getting up there.

I just wish I could understand how they made all of that possible in the first place.

"I see that you are all focused on the floating city as usual. Elyndra is quite the place. I’m sure you’ll all enjoy this next lesson." The teacher speaks with a bit of excitent.

I could see that she had sothing up on a screen about Elyndra. It was so sort of docuntary on the creation process of the city.

It talked about how they incorporated this "mana" to make it float a lot easier instead of relying on primitive technology. Mana was the new source for a lot of new technology, making it a lot more powerful.

I only paid attention to stuff like this because it would be useful for my journey as a junker who can fix anything. Making things better and maybe even with the help of mana would be huge.

Imagine the kinds of custors I could attract if I did that kind of work. I’d be able to pay my way to do anything in no ti.

Or I guess I could just beco a doctor in one of those big cities but I don’t think it would be worth it for . Doing all that work on people can be exhausting.

(The school day finally ends.)

I find myself walking ho with Minami and it was peaceful as usual, kind of boring if I’m being honest. This kind of thing wasn’t sothing I was upset about, but it would be nice if sothing interesting happened.

"School is definitely interesting to be in again." Minami says softly.

I could see the look on her face, it wasn’t really that great for her.

"You okay Minami?" I ask with a bit of worry in my voice.

"Of course. Don’t worry about ." She answers as she ruffles my hair a bit.

She’s never been the type to admit when sothing is wrong or that her day wasn’t the greatest. Minami cares too much about everyone else to express her own problems.

That’s how she’s always been, at least that’s how it has been since our parents died.

I know it is part of her trying to be the grown up who takes care of everything but I do wish she’d rely on sotis. That’s exactly why I need to do this.

Who needs School?

We made it back to the house safely and I ran up to my bedroom. I lock the door and imdiately begin to tinker around with so of the old chanic manuals I had.

So of them were really useful while others didn’t hold a lot of information.

So when I finished reading one, I went to the next and the next. This was how I went about everything for the remainder of the day, at least until I was too tired to keep reading.

I was finally out of energy and stuck laying on the floor.

I’ll just express that I don’t have any interest in school. I think she’ll understand if I tell her what I really want to do for the rest of my life.

It will be quite a successful field in the end of the day as well. Being able to make money from sothing like that is all we’ll ever need. Minami won’t have to figure out how to cover the bills when we run out of inheritance money.
