I was definitely ready to hear all about her since she’s quite a mystery to begin with so this should be pretty interesting.
(Velia’s POV. She begins to talk.)
Originally I was dealing with the aftermath of a crazy god, one who thought our world needed to change. I did co from a world similar to yours but we didn’t have such advancents like yours does.
We had magic and powers of course, but it was all there from the beginning. The only new thing that arrived in our world were the towers that arrived here.
I was part of one of the biggest human kingdoms around, the rose kingdom. We played a big part in helping defend the cities against the ongoing monster attacks.
We’d get hit by these waves that were set to hit on specific days every two years. On top of dealing with the issues from other kingdoms we still had to prepare for these massive attacks.
Monsters of all varieties would attack the kingdom without any hesitation, even as they got torn down by our heroes. Well... I was one of the heroes helping out for the longest ti until suddenly we started losing.
The waves started to get worse and worse until finally we couldn’t do a damn thing about them anymore. That’s when the first tower ca to be, during the strongest wave known to date.
I saw the tower and ran for it without wasting any ti since I didn’t know if it could end this or not. There was no reason for to waste an opportunity like this so I left it to the other heroes as I made my way for it.
Eventually I found the entrance to the tower and went inside to see what possibilities awaited . There I found the man behind the counter that we talked to when we entered here today.
It was the sa process of entering but I didn’t waste the opportunity and started to climb the tower. I struggled on every floor, losing over and over again while barely making it out alive.
I’d have to start over every ti that I lost which was even more grueso to deal with. Being taunted over and over again by the sa assholes that beat in the first place.
Eventually I manage to climb through the entire tower, making it to the final floor where soone was waiting. A woman with all white robes and a golden crown on her head.
"What is it that you want child?" That’s exactly what she asked and all I can rember saying to her was... "To save my world from these waves."
I don’t know what happened after that because I woke up in the wastelands of your world. Everything was destroyed and at first I thought it was the outco of everything in my world but I was wrong.
Velia Strann from the Rose Kingdom was no longer the sa hero she once was. I was now here with no idea on what to do next.
My friends, family, and even the people who looked up to were gone. I took out my anger and frustration on the monsters of this wasteland and eventually I saw soone watching .
They ran off of course but I knew that it wouldn’t be the end of it. That’s when eventually you showed up with those two girls, Ghost and Lilly.
I could tell you were strong which is why I needed you to co to the tower with , even if the girls didn’t want to go. You could help scale the tower once again where I can find the woman from before.
(She stops talking about everything. Back to Rokuro’s POV.)
It gave so info about her past but I’m sure she left out a lot of her real life for a reason. She’s a hero and suddenly found herself in our world.
Those waves sounded brutal and also kind of reminded of so of the stuff we dealt with at Ashvalis. It was a bit similar in that sense but that was about it so far.
But she has curious about the reward at the top of the tower since it could an a way to save the world. I won’t hold my breath for it since the rewards granted could be a lot different now.
There’s no guarantee that I’ll be able to bring the world back from this from climbing this tower. It might just give the strength I need to continue to fight until I find that damn star.
That star is the cause of everything so if I can just find that... Then I’ll be able to understand everything a lot more.
"So we should get to the top." I say with a serious tone.
But sothing that stood out was that she said when the first tower ca to be. There’s more than one tower so what tower is going to give us the correct rewards?
That’s sothing I’ll have to rember since she didn’t ntion anything about any other towers. She only said that it was the first one to arrive.
"Yes, once we are ready to continue onto the next floor." Velia replies a bit quieter than before.
There’s no reason to waste anymore ti here when we have the chance to get even stronger, the chance to save this world.
Don’t push yourself too much dummy.
I get that but I don’t want to let everyone else suffer while I’m possibly on the verge of finding the power to help everyone. This world might have a chance to get to a better place if this tower holds the answer.
Or maybe it’ll help find that damn star so that I can deal with it instead.
"Then we should take one more day before going." I suggest while looking up at the sky.
The sky in here looked like absolute shit but at least it was sothing to look at.
