I lost all the color from my face when I read the thought of that girl.
‘Although I have put a tracker on him, I don't think these Vanquishers could collect evidence against him..…’ That was what she was thinking when she entered her room.
Vanquishers…I cannot forget that term. The protectors of Light and soone who has taken an oath to eradicate all the demons and those who have taken their side.
But why are they here?

Her words made falter for a mont…nearly pushing to reveal everything.
However, I was unsure at the mont, so sharing my worries with her was unnecessary.
With a smile, I told her, “I will.”
Shiori-nee looked unconvinced but she knew when to stop asking for sothing. As such with a soft nod, she joined Mom.
After that, I went inside the bathroom, and commanded,
‘Scan …’ I looked at myself in the mirror after letting go of my clothes.
After turning around I checked my butt, but there was nothing unusual.
Then my eyes slowly went up…and there, I saw sothing faintly glowing at the base of my neck.
Maybe it was because of my heightened senses that I was able to locate that dim light easily.
[Host! A tracker is detected at the root of your neck!]
And the confirmation arrived.
Heaving a sigh, I put on my clothes, and after exiting the bathroom, I walked towards the balcony.
While looking at the scene outside, I asked the system,
‘What are the chances of them discovering my identity without going out of my way to reveal my powers?’ I cannot and will not fight them, especially when my family is here.
In the first place, I don't know how strong they are and what kind of spell or ability would work on them. I haven't learned any martial arts in the past and unlike Rika and Chinatsu, I cannot be sure to overwhelm them with my demonic presence.
[The passive skills of the host don't leak much Demonic energy—aning unless soone is purposely searching you to sense the demonic energy, they won't be able to sense the energy from the host.]
I touched the sensor that bitch connected to , under the pretense of copping a feel. The tracker was actually on my neck—it penetrated my skin, and only after close inspection and the system's assistance did I notice it.
Thankfully I wasn't using any passive skill as well when she put that tracker on . I didn't need to.
‘So if I use my passive skill with this tracker on, they would know that I am a demon?’
[Possibly yes, host.]
This complicated things. If I remove the tracker, they would know. And if I use my skills, which I surely will in the near future, they would know in such circumstances as well.
If they are going to such lengths to track , they must be still unsure whether I am a demon or not.
‘What should I do…’ My voice might be getting recorded as well…not good at all!
This was frustrating.
Why did I garner their attention…ah! The answer ca to instantly—Minami.
Her outburst must have alerted them, and sohow, they might have dug my na out.
What should I do…what should I do…hmm!
I suddenly had an idea…but surely this idea would put my family under a lot of stress.
I took out my phone and typed a long text to Akane-san, explaining to her my situation and asking if she was t by sothing similar.
Her text was swift,
[No, we actually returned ho right away in our private car, and except for my husband, I have t no one. And my husband isn't working for Vanquisher, that is for sure.]
I heaved a long sigh before asking for her help.
[I will do as you say…but don't get too hurt.]
With a smile, I replied, ‘I will try my best.’
“Minoru, we are going to have dinner. Let's go?” Shiori-nee ca to while wearing a different dress than before.
A white floral top along with ankle-length pink trousers gave her a very youthful look.
“You look pretty.” She blushed hearing the remark before saying,
“Now let's go, Mom and Dad are waiting.”
Seeing that smile and the excitent, I felt guilty.
…since in a few minutes, her smile will vanish and tears will stain her face, undoubtedly.
