He then turned to look at Hu Geng. It had only been half a month since they last met, yet the young man’s energy and spirit had transformed, more vibrant than ever.

He didn’t plan to say much more to him; they could catch up later in the evening after finishing the day’s work.

Hu Geng quietly and cautiously added, “Master, could they be here to cause trouble?”
Wei Ronghua was silent for a moment, shaking his head, “They don’t have the guts.”
Firstly, they are not local to the prefecture. Even if they wanted to show off and act like local tyrants, it wouldn’t be their place.
Secondly, this is Monarch Lu Xiang’s shop, and even the magistrate sent someone specifically to deliver a gift. Who would dare cause trouble today without any sense or wits?
Perhaps the gaze from Wei Ronghua and Hu Geng was too evident, for Boss Ge by the carriage also turned his head to look at Wei Ronghua.
