Chapter 830: Chapter 830: Farewell
On the second day, the Lu family members returned to the county town, taking away some things from home that they wanted to bring with them.
Shu Yu didn’t leave. She arrived at the Manor early in the morning and started familiarizing Xu Dali with the registration tasks.
Xu Dali was indeed very astute; he understood everything as soon as Shu Yu taught him.
She demonstrated the registration process for the Land-clearing Team, and by the time the Hunting Team arrived, Xu Dali was already able to take over. Though not very skillful yet, there really wasn’t any problem.
The task was simple. Originally, Shu Yu just wanted to pass the time, as she was about to leave soon, so she didn’t expand on other tasks.
But Xu Dali had time, and if he did well on the Manor, maybe he would have a stable job in the future, providing for food and clothing, and life could start to look up.
After the Hunting Team received their tools, the other teams left, but the people from the third team stayed behind.
Fang Xiyue was the first to rush forward, somewhat excitedly saying, “Yu, have you really bee the Village Chief?”

Shu Yu didn’t refuse. After watching them leave, she turned back and continued to discuss some precautions with Xu Dali.
In the afternoon, the people from the third team came back before the hour of Wei (1 p.m to 3 p.m).
A group of them carried their game directly into Shu Yu’s home. Seeing that the buckets and knives were still there, they simply took them and went straight to the river to process the game.
Shu Yu, watching their bustling activity, suddenly felt a bit reluctant to leave.
Uncle Fang and Aunt Fang came over, and Shu Yu took out all the pots, pans, and utensils that she did not plan to take with her.
Father Fang’s injury had healed, but after all, it had been a serious illness, and his body was not as strong as before, so he no longer joined the Hunting Team. Instead, he went to the wasteland, taking half a day off specially for today.
Besides the Fang Family, the Zhang family members also came over.
They helped tidy up and took away some of the Lu family’s things.
That night, Shu Yu slept at the Manor. The house was almost empty, and it was pointless for her to stay there alone.
The next day, Meng Yunzheng and Zhao Xi came over to Righteous Dao Village with a mule carriage to take her back to the county town.
