Outside the library, Miao Xiaoxia, barred by the caution tape, stared anxiously at the building and asked the nearby police officer, "Hello, what exactly happened inside? My friend is in there, and I'm very worried."

The officer at the caution tape looked at him for a full thirty seconds and coldly said, "Step back! Nothing to report, if your friend is inside, please wait patiently."
At this, the handso Ren Kangning grew impatient, "Hey, you're pushing it. Do you believe I'll have your uniform stripped off later?"
The officer glared angrily, and just then an older policeman ca over, patted the officer, and then smiled, "The son of Director Ren, it wouldn't normally hurt to ask about this, but this case is a bit special. It's not under the jurisdiction of the sub-bureau. Even if your father ca, there'd still be nothing to report."
Upon hearing this, the handso Ren Kangning beca enraged, "Fine, you'll see, just you wait."
After saying this, Ren Kangning glared angrily at Miao Xiaoxia and snapped, "Listen carefully, Miao Xiaoxia, I know there's rumors in the school that you and Shen Qiang have been getting a bit close. I hope that isn't true, and even if it is, you better break it off with him imdiately."

The young and handso Ren Kangning, upon seeing Shen Qiang, revealed a cold smile.

Hearing this, Miao Xiaoxia panicked, "Ren Kangning, don't go too far!"
"This is going too far?" Ren Kangning scoffed, "Just be a good girl and go out with tonight, there won't be any issues. But if you dare not to, I'll show you what going too far really ans!"
"Here he cos, Young Master! Shen Qiang is alone. If he dares defy us, we'll kick him."
With the reminder from the man beside him, Ren Kangning swaggered over to the edge of the cordon, positioning himself to teach Shen Qiang a lesson.
Just as Miao Xiaoxia was anxiously unsure of what to do,
she saw the officer who had earlier sternly told her and Ren Kangning to step back snapped to attention as Shen Qiang passed by him.
Imdiately, he puffed out his chest, raised his head, and saluted without diverting his eyes, his movents impeccably standard.
Shen Qiang recognized at a glance that this officer was the sa one who had rushed up to the fifth floor earlier.
Smiling, Shen Qiang nodded at him, then ducked under the cordon. The officer watched Shen Qiang's departing back with eyes filled with excitent.
Seeing this scene, Miao Xiaoxia, Ren Kangning, and several young n around them were instantly dumbstruck.
"Young Master Ren, I feel like sothing is not quite right here,"
said soone following Ren Kangning in a hushed tone.
"Shut up," soone commanded.
Now approaching the group, Shen Qiang smiled at Miao Xiaoxia, "Kept you waiting, huh?"
Miao Xiaoxia was startled, then hurriedly nodded, "Yes, a bit anxious." She then grabbed Shen Qiang's hand and headed out, saying, "Let's hurry, we're going to see my cousin."
"Hold on."
But instead of moving, she found herself pulled back into Shen Qiang's arms.
Then, the astounded Miao Xiaoxia heard Shen Qiang say with a hint of amusent, "I heard soone ntion kicking when I was coming over? Who said that? Step forward, don't worry, I won't hit you."
