At night, half-past ten.
Carrying a box full of cash, Shen Qiang appeared on ti at a location where the urban area ets the rural on the fringes of Southern City.
By this ti, the streets were sparsely populated, with the most lively spot being a barbecue stall not far away.
Shen Qiang stood silently under the canopy of a roadside bus stop, waiting for over ten minutes, when a gaunt man wearing a duckbill cap and sunglasses surreptitiously approached him.
His voice tense, the man asked, "Did you bring the money?"
Shen Qiang opened the case in his hand, displaying the neatly arranged $300,000 in cash, which made the surreptitious man's voice turn hoarse, "Walk south along this road for two hundred ters, then turn left and go in about seventy or eighty ters. The first three-story villa, they're all there."
Shen Qiang closed the money case and asked, "How can you prove it?"
The man handed Shen Qiang a small cara, saying, "It's all in here."
Taking a look, the first thing Shen Qiang saw was a sowhat plump woman in her late twenties, with pale skin, bright red lipstick, and large hoop earrings.
As Shen Qiang flipped through the photos, after passing several of the woman, he stopped. In this photo, the woman was pinching a flower girl's cheek with a cold, forceful expression.
Shen Qiang continued flipping through the photos, and in another image, a little girl carrying a basket of flowers was being slapped by her in an alleyway.
Further in, there was a black BMW X5. A man with a fierce-looking face grinned as he reached out from the car window to touch the woman's chest. In the back seat of the car were two children, who looked to be only three or four years old; due to the lighting, it was only possible to make out that they were girls.
Shen Qiang flipped further.
It was a yard of a three-story villa.
The woman was forcefully kicking a very young girl.
Seven or eight burly n were playing cards in the courtyard, and an old man with a cold gaze, dressed in a traditional Chinese-style jacket, was leading a little girl crawling on the ground.
Further on, the photos were mostly of the woman entering and exiting the villa with various n.
No other content was found.
"The dates on the photos are wrong," Shen Qiang said solemnly.
The surreptitious man nervously explained, "These photos were taken sporadically over almost half a year. They are fierce and will kill; that's why I've never dared to go public."
Seeing Shen Qiang's stern face, the man tugged at the case in Shen Qiang's hand and said, "I need the money now. I don't know why you're looking for them, nor do I care. Give the money, and then we're even."
Shen Qiang was silent for a mont and then said, "Take there. I'll give you the money once we see the house."
The surreptitious man clenched his teeth; seeing Shen Qiang's serious deanor, after a mont's silence, he turned and said, "Follow ."
Following the man.
Soon, as they turned into a secluded street, Shen Qiang imdiately saw the house from the photos, as well as the black BMW X5 parked in the villa's courtyard.
"Give the money," the surreptitious man demanded, pulling out a knife in his hand.
Shen Qiang let go without concern.
"You can go," said the surreptitious man, snatching up the case and running off. After taking a few steps, he turned back and said in a lowered voice, "They have guns; you'd better not ss with them."
With that,
the man left without looking back.
Shen Qiang stood in place for a mont with a calm expression, then walked toward the villa.
But before Shen Qiang could get close, with a low growl, he saw several unleashed large dogs in the courtyard of the villa, baring their fangs and watching him with wary deanors.
"Oh? Looks like there might be so trouble," he mused.
Upstairs in the third floor of the villa.
The plump woman with pale complexion said, "I asked you to watch the sheep, and you end up killing one and letting another escape. What use do I have for you now?"
The pale-faced woman pleaded in a tender voice, "Boss, I know I was wrong, I won't dare do it again! Please forgive , please."
The man sighed and said with a cold sneer, "You little demon, you are quite sensible. However, I'm tired of you already."
Yet his attention shifted to the scared, trembling little girl next to him.
"Co here," he beckoned.
The man excitedly eyed the little girl around four or five years old, stretching out his hand, "Co to uncle."
The frightened little girl shook her head, desperately backing away.
The man's expression instantly turned fierce as he raised his hand and said, "It seems you really don't listen, do you, Xiu Rong? Strip her."
The pale-faced woman's eyes lit up. She stood, approached the little girl, and viciously pinched her cheek.
The girl imdiately started crying.
"It hurts, it hurts, it hurts!"
Watching the little girl cry, the woman twisted and pulled at her cheek, letting go only when it was stretched to its extre, followed by a fierce slap that sent the little girl tumbling to the ground.
"Still dare to disobey? I'll skin you alive!"
The pale-faced woman then viciously pulled at the clothes of the struggling little girl. In a struggle, the girl's fingernails accidentally left a white mark on the woman's arm.
The woman was imdiately infuriated, "You dare resist?"
As she spoke, the woman grabbed the little girl's delicate fingers and twisted hard. Amid the crisp sound of breaking bones, the little girl cried out in pain.
