The war was about to break out again, and I knew it. The maneuvers were being made and positioning themselves. So now was the ti to start using the massive amounts of System points that I had been saving. It was stupid not to use the very resources I had been farming lately. The amount of pregnant won sent back to Rose and my harem to deal with ant that I had to get sothing out of it.

It was a good starting point, and I had to regenerate my mana after my marathon of impregnating won. The problems I found in many won's bodies were from poor diet to abuse from childhood or even in their adult years. It took a toll on their bodies and it took my mana to fix their bodies quickly and discreetly.
Many of those won would experience much easier pregnancies than they would have usually or if they have children after mine. I had no regrets about helping them with their health needs, although they might never know how much I did for them in the brief ti we 't.'
I finally pulled up the shop, looked at the last options for level 5, and considered using the lottery instead.

Okay, that was anticlimactic. Just a simple change to saying nothing was available—just add the word "no." That felt unsatisfying. I was hoping for a secret to co out or sothing like that—maybe a refresh of the system shop so I could find new things—but instead, I got the word "no."
Instead, I looked with hope toward the descriptions of the talents, skills, and equipnt just purchased!

My eyes rested on this talent. A talent that felt Odd. I felt weird thinking about it, but I still was unsure what this talent gave . Was I a better killer? I could already kill thousands and have. What did this do? Even feeling it out or reading the talent did not tell . It was sothing I would have to find out later, and I hoped I would.

The gift of being Justified. The holy light shines upon you for decapitating a foe. They were in the wrong. How dare they defend themselves, and how dare they try to stop you from moving forward.

What the fuck?! What did this skill an? As I thought about it, I felt sothing on the edge of my head, and I quickly realized what it ant. I felt now, I could better talk to people and co up with better excuses to "Justify" my cris if I chose to do so. That rchant was robbing the poor of their gold and giving them poor tools in exchange. I had to rob them to give back the gold to the poor. It was only JUST.
I shuddered thinking about this tool, as it could potentially co in handy in the future—so handy that I shuddered thinking about the word gas I would have to play in the future. Now, I had a new tool for justifying my actions to put in the best light towards the masses—not a useless skill at all!

Cursed Plug of Saldarnus:
A cursed plug ant for the human body. The owner can put the plug into another to curse them to feel everything more. As Saldarnus knew, all feelings could increase pain he used this mostly to 'assist' in softening up his targets.

I winced as I already knew who this would go to, and I felt sorry for her once again. I had to stop myself as I already had chosen a path, and I needed to stick to it. I would continue on this path without rcy in my heart.

I looked at the last one, and I felt cauterizing the wound was not very helpful. I wonder if I could give this away as a reward to soone. It would increase loyalty and potentially rally more people to my cause in the future. It was sothing I would have to think about.
For now, though, I left the little place at the headquarters and looked to the south, where I thought things would happen. Isabelle and I were taking a small break to decide who would stay where the bait was to guide them. I was the obvious choice, but Isabelle was reluctant to give even more credit. She was also looking a little pent up after weeks without , but we were keeping a distance temporarily. Well, she wanted the distance for now. Elder Redscale was not entirely happy with her even though he FINALLY understood why we were sitting here.
No, I looked out along the trenches, stepping out into the light, and knew that we had it much easier than those in the trenches in my past world. The clouds in the sky spoke of a potential for rain in the coming days, and I frowned. I hoped the Empire would pick a day when it was bright out to attack. But there was no use worrying about that.
Instead, I stopped to think.
Should I gamble on the lottery? If I do, what is my spending cap?
my mind whirled, and I headed inside, deciding to ditate while I still had ti before I chose.
