Natsuki Subaru watched with his own eyes as a thin line appeared right down the center of the head of the Witchbeast closest to him—the one with saliva still hanging from its fangs.

That thin line extended straight downward, as if an invisible pen were drawing a vertical stroke across its body.

There was no blood, no scream—the Witchbeast simply, quietly, and smoothly split into two halves from the middle.

The left and right halves each fell to the side, the cut incredibly neat.

It wasn't until they hit the ground that the blood finally caught up, gushing out to form dark red streams on the withered leaves.

Only after the corpses landed did Natsuki Subaru realize it wasn't just two halves; the split bodies collapsed on the ground like building blocks, sliced into countless small pieces!

The frequency of those invisible slashes far exceeded his imagination, as if hundreds of microscopic, yet incredibly sharp and hard threads were hidden in the wind.

But this was only the beginning.

Starting from Yuji Itadori, an invisible slash rippled outward.

Wherever it passed, the ground, the walls, and the tall buildings remained unaffected, but the Witchbeasts—dozens of them—were precisely segnted at the sa instant.

In Natsuki Subaru's field of vision, the entire world was being re-carved.

In the furthest reaches, the sounds of those Witchbeasts still howling in response to ili's Summoning ca to an abrupt halt at the sa mont.

It wasn't a case of them stopping one by one; rather, all sound vanished simultaneously, as if soone had pressed the mute button.

In less than two seconds, the entire Domain transford from a clamorous battlefield into a silent slaughterhouse.

Natsuki Subaru's ears were ringing.

It wasn't because of a loud noise—quite the opposite, it was because it was too quiet.

It was so quiet he could hear the sound of his own blood flowing, and the frantic drumming of his heart against his ribs.

His legs were shaking, not out of fear, but because everything happening before him transcended his range of understanding.

"This... this is..."

Natsuki Subaru opened his mouth, finding himself unable to speak a complete sentence.

He had seen Yuji Itadori's strength before when he easily defeated Elsa in minutes.

However, Natsuki Subaru never expected that Yuji Itadori's power reached such a degree.

This was surely power beyond common sense.

Natsuki Subaru's brain worked desperately to process the information his retinas were receiving, but the data was too absurd—how could so many Witchbeasts, capable of easily killing ordinary humans, turn into a pile of neat fragnts in less than a single breath?

This wasn't a battle.

It didn't even count as a massacre—a massacre at least involved a process of resistance.

This was more like... a correction.

It was as if Yuji Itadori felt these Witchbeasts shouldn't exist in this space, and so, they ceased to be.

Natsuki Subaru gasped for air, feeling a surge of relief in his heart.

Yuji Itadori was their Group Leader.

On the other side, ili's expression was frozen.

She could not understand what had happened at all.

Even though... she had controlled so many Witchbeasts.

Why were they all shredded in an instant?

What happened?

What exactly happened?!

Was this the kind of monster her sister had fought?

The intense shock nearly caused ili's brain to crash.

"It seems the natures of Cursed Energy and Mana are much the sa."

Yuji Itadori lowered his head, whispering to himself.

The fact that Cleave could take effect on these Witchbeasts was enough to prove that point.

Yuji Itadori could sense a massive difference between Witchbeasts and ordinary animals; they constantly emitted a peculiar aura.

To describe it, they were closer to Cursed Spirits with physical bodies.

Yuji Itadori looked up at the still-shaken ili. He had intentionally controlled the technique to prevent her from being killed by Cleave, just as he had ensured Natsuki Subaru behind him remained unhard.

Yuji Itadori's use and understanding of the Domain and his technique had already far surpassed those of the forr Sukuna.

The reason he did not strike ili remained the sa.

He did not have the right to judge others.

He had always believed this.

Yuji Itadori clapped his hands, and the Domain began to collapse.

The town that had suddenly appeared just now reverted back to the previous forest landscape.

Only the shredded corpses of the Witchbeasts on the ground proved that what had occurred was not an illusion.

"What is your na? Why did you co here, and who sent you?"

Yuji Itadori moved instantly to stand before ili, speaking slowly.

However, the massive visual impact had already brought ili to the brink of a ntal breakdown. Unable to endure any longer, she lost consciousness and collapsed.

"Did she faint...?"

Yuji Itadori looked at ili on the ground and gave a slight shake of his head. He then turned to Natsuki Subaru.

"What do you plan to do next? How will you handle ili?"

"I..."

Natsuki Subaru was montarily at a loss for words, falling into thought.

At the ti, because he was worried about the danger in the village, he had rushed here without stopping, but he hadn't decided how to handle things afterward.

After all, Natsuki Subaru had no way to explain to Emilia and the others what had happened here.

He couldn't exactly say he had experienced a Return by Death and thus knew of ili's existence.

Furthermore, even if Natsuki Subaru found a reason to explain how he knew about ili, he couldn't have defeated so many Witchbeasts himself.

Matters related to Return by Death could only be discussed within the Chat Group.

At the thought of this, Natsuki Subaru couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

At least the Chat Group existed, allowing others to know he possessed the ability of Return by Death.

If he were all alone, putting aside whether he could safely navigate these crises, no one else would ever know what he had actually gone through.

In that case, how to handle ili afterward was also a difficult problem...

After thinking for a mont, Natsuki Subaru thought of sothing.

"Senior Itadori, I might still need your help."

"Just tell what to do."

"I'll head back quietly tonight. Then tomorrow, Senior Itadori, you co for a visit while bringing ili with you. Emilia knows you! Roswaal will definitely treat you as an honored guest! You can just say you originally intended to co find , but happened to encounter a Witchbeast attack and took the initiative to intervene..."

Natsuki Subaru laid out his thoughts, and Yuji Itadori nodded.

"Understood."

Many parts of it wouldn't hold up to scrutiny, and the explanation was a bit forced, but this was the only excuse Natsuki Subaru could co up with for now.

"Then I'll take this child and leave for now. It just so happens I have so things I want to ask her as well."

Yuji Itadori's gaze fell upon ili once more.
