Ogo struggled to push the dead horse off his body.

His head was still spinning from the blow Drogo had dealt him, but as his vision cleared, the first thing he saw was Viserys locked in combat with Drogo.

Viserys clearly held the upper hand.

With a powerful kick, he sent Drogo flying backward.

Then, in the next instant, he leapt high into the air and drove his Valyrian steel sword straight into Drogo's chest.

"Drogo... is dead?"

As the blade sank into Drogo's body, the battlefield seed to fall silent for a heartbeat.

"Drogo... is dead?"

"That monster... is dead?"

"Long live King Viserys!"

"Long live King Viserys!"

The Targaryen soldiers erupted into thunderous cheers.

The Dothraki, on the other hand, looked as if their very spine had been shattered.

They tried desperately to rush forward and reclaim Drogo's body, but the reinvigorated Targaryen soldiers held their ground and refused to give even a single step.

Connington, Gerold, and Arthur finally recovered from their shock.

Watching from afar through a spyglass, Oberyn could only think one thing: Is Viserys even human?

Viserys pulled his blade free.

Dark red blood spread rapidly beneath Drogo's body.

A notification appeared in his mind.

He had obtained a new essence.

The essence of the Horse God's chosen.

It shone in a deep gold-red color, far more powerful than any he had ever absorbed before.

He stepped back from the corpse, preparing to call soone over to collect it.

He did not notice that Drogo's pupils had turned into perfect squares.

Nor did he see the faint twitch of his fingers.

Then soone suddenly shouted—

"Your Majesty, watch out!"

Viserys turned sharply.

Drogo, who had just been killed, was standing again.

For a second ti, the battlefield froze.

"The Horse God! The Horse God!"

"Khal Drogo has risen again!"

The Dothraki, whose morale had been on the brink of collapse, surged with renewed fervor.

But the resurrected Drogo did not lead them back into battle.

Instead, he seized a nearby horse and fled toward the Sacred Mother Mountain.

Arthur reacted instantly.

Without hesitation, he charged forward to intercept. Clad in silver armor, he leveled his lance and rode straight at Drogo.

At that mont, Arthur embodied everything a warrior should be.

Strength might belong to others, but courage belonged to him. His lance tore through the air as he advanced without fear.

Yet Drogo, his eyes now square and inhuman, did not even regard him as a threat.

He caught the lance with his bare hand.

In the next mont, Arthur was thrown from his horse, crashing heavily onto the ground.

Drogo raised the lance, intending to finish him.

But the soldiers who had followed Arthur charged in with furious cries.

Drogo swept the lance sideways, knocking several Dragonriders from their mounts.

Still, Arthur and those few riders had done sothing important.

They had reignited the will to fight.

More and more Dragonriders rushed in to intercept him.

Drogo fought his way through, but instead of breaking through their formation, he was forced to give ground.

His horse was fast.

Soon, he managed to break past the interception.

From behind, Viserys watched the scene and felt a quiet satisfaction.

His Dragonriders had proven themselves.

Mounted on his horse, he turned to his royal guard.

"I killed him once. I can kill him twice. Follow . We finish him!"

Connington had wanted to persuade him to stop while they were ahead.

But there was no ti.

He understood clearly what it would an if a resurrected leader like Drogo remained alive.

An undying khal.

A reborn warlord.

Such a figure would unite the Dothraki like never before.

They had to eliminate him now, while the shock of his first death still lingered.

Hundreds of royal guards followed behind their silver-haired king, shouting in excitent as they charged.

After so ti, Arthur slowly regained consciousness.

"Ser Arthur."

"Ogo... Ogo?"

Arthur noticed sothing strange in Ogo's eyes.

A sense of shared suffering.

It confused him, but he quickly set it aside. There was only one thing that mattered.

"His Majesty... where is His Majesty?"

"He's gone after Drogo."

Arthur wasted no ti.

He placed two fingers in his mouth and gave a sharp whistle.

His warhorse ca galloping to him.

Mounting swiftly, he gathered a group of Dragonriders and set off in pursuit.

Drogo's resurrection had shaken the battlefield. But his retreat had damaged his army's morale even more.

When he first fell, his n had fought desperately to recover his body.

But now, after returning to life, he had chosen to flee.

Many Dothraki no longer wished to fight.

They only wanted to catch up to their khal and understand what had happened.

Without leadership, the Dothraki army quickly degenerated into scattered bands.

Connington knew there was nothing more he could do for Viserys now.

His task was clear.

Destroy the remaining Dothraki forces.

"Signal the Dragonriders. Encircle them from the north. Drive them into the lake!"

"Order the Norvos troops forward. All of them. Anyone who disobeys is to be executed on the spot!"

"Order the Pentos auxiliaries. One gold dragon for every Dothraki killed. Anyone who retreats will be executed!"

"Order the longbown to fire at will. Loose every arrow!"

Under a storm of commands, the army surged forward once more.

anwhile, Viserys pressed deeper into the mountains, pursuing Drogo.

"Your Majesty, Ser Arthur is right behind us. Should we have them surround the Sacred Mother Mountain?"

"Arthur?"

Viserys's heart skipped.

A mory surfaced. A vision seen in flas. Arthur holding his corpse, weeping.

He looked toward the looming mountain ahead.

A thought struck him.

Will I die here?

His heart pounded violently.

Should he retreat? Or continue the pursuit?

I've already clashed with the Horse God. There's no turning back.

Another thought crossed his mind.

Was it the Horse God who nearly took the lives of Rhaella and Lyanna on Dragonstone?

Countless thoughts raced through his mind.

In the end, he made his decision.

He would continue.

Prophecy could not be avoided. Even if he retreated today, what about next ti? And the ti after that?

He had already obtained the essence of the so-called chosen.

That ant he had truly killed Drogo once.

So the one fleeing ahead...

Could only be the Horse God itself.

Kill it. Or face endless consequences.

With that realization, Viserys urged his horse forward, accelerating the chase.
