Grace stared at him, her now purple eyes widening as she looked at the crater: ’I hope I didn’t kill him, I can’t yet control the density of my attacks with this form.’ She thought, a sudden flash of panic hitting her, genuinely scared of unknowingly killing her opponent and violating Mirabella’s strict no-kill mandate.

Andrew coughed up a trail of dark smoke and blood, his body broken, but to everyone’s absolute surprise, his sheer stubbornness forced him to stagger back up to his feet:

"I won’t lose!" He yelled, his vision blurry as he blindly shot forward towards her again.

"Seems I don’t need to hold back." Grace murmured, her deanor instantly resetting to the clinical focus she had practiced during their training arcs.

She calmly pointed one single finger directly towards the charging warrior:

’If I use my legendary class staff, he will surely die from the amplified energy, so I will just use my hand to suppress the damage.’ She thought, calculating the threshold perfectly.

"Legendary class skill, Ice exterminator."

BOOOOM!!

A beautiful, hyper-compressed snowflake materialized out of thin air before her finger, spinning clockwise with the speed of a saw blade, and the very next mont, it violently shattered. Hundreds of tiny, translucent ice needles appeared, radiating an absolute-zero temperature, and shot forward like a railgun barrage towards the charging Andrew.

"This?"

BAM!!!

The entire, unavoidable attack smashed rcilessly into his front line, and in the next microsecond, the energy flash-froze his cells, instantly freezing all his joints solid.

"You--"

Andrew froze completely solid, his montum dead, his wide eyes looking around in absolute horror as massive, razor-sharp ice spears erupted out of the floor all over the place around him, all their lethal, jagged tips aiming directly at his throat and vital points.

At that very mont, locked in a cage of absolute frost, he knew he had lost completely, without even managing to close within 30 ters of the Dragon Academy’s mage.

"I..." He gritted his teeth, desperate to salvage his pride, and forcefully tried to use his fla, desperately channeling spirit energy, but the hyper-dense, absolute-zero ice in his joints made it physically impossible.

He couldn’t believe it. He was one of the legendary invincible five of the Sword Academy, bred for supremacy, and he couldn’t even defeat a re mage from the opponent’s side.

Was he actually that systemically weak?

Or was his enemy’s hidden bloodline simply too strong?

He heavily sighed, the icy air pluming from his lips, his shoulders finally slumping under the crushing weight of reality:

"I surrender." He said under his breath, barely a whisper, but Davy heard it clearly.

"Impressive!! The winner of the round is Grace!" Davy yelled, excitedly pointing down to the little dark mage standing amidst the frozen destruction:

’Such strong oppression from this girl. If she reaches Lv500, she will be invincible.’ Davy thought, his mind analyzing the shift in the competition’s power scaling, and carefully turned his head to Mirabella:

’If her juniors are these crazy, how terrifyingly crazy is she?’

Unbeknownst to him, Mirabella could clearly hear his internal thoughts through, but she completely ignored it, her focus remaining entirely analytical.

’Grace indeed has a remarkably rare bloodline. If it hadn’t been for the system, I wouldn’t even know such a bloodline existed... Evolving from an ordinary elental mage, straight into the Dark Great Mage. At night, with the lunar buffs, her strength is even more powerful.’ Mirabella thought approvingly, staring down at Grace, who slowly lowered her trembling hand.

With a thought from the mage, all the massive ice structures instantly shattered into fine blue dust, and vanished harmlessly from sight. The suffocating dark energy emanating from her slowly, almost reluctantly, withdrew back into her physical body, and instantly, all her terrifying, oppressive aura completely vanished.

Everyone in the stands stared blankly at the innocent-looking little girl before them, genuinely still not believing she was the apocalyptic entity from just seconds ago.

"Alright, Grace won this round!" Davy said loudly, breaking the silence, staring as the two exhausted combatants walked off the pristine white stage.

"I did it, Senior Sister!" Grace said with a bright, exhausted smile as she returned to the Dragon Academy’s section.

Mirabella reached out and gently patted her head, a rare gesture of warmth: "Take it slower next ti, you consud a lot of spirit energy just to force the activation of that form, you still need rigorous training." She said, as a small, genuine, almost imperceptible smile appeared on her normally stoic face.

"Yes, I will strictly follow senior sister’s command." Grace said, practically glowing from the praise.

"Hey, when did you start calling her sister?" Carl asked with a slight, protective frown, feeling his unique sibling dynamic being threatened.

"What? Do you think you’re the only one who wants to have a powerful sister!" Grace pouted at him childishly, her innocent action profoundly stunning the rest of the Dragon team.

’What is Mirabella doing to these two? Why are they getting exponentially stronger every passing day?’ Hitachi thought with a deep, calculating slight frown on his face, unable to see the regressions that forged their bond.

’Among the invincible five in the dragon academy, I am the only dedicated mage; but now... Why do I feel so inferior?’ Rose thought.

"That was... Well... A shocking battle."

Davy’s professional voice drew everyone’s attention away from the Dragon Academy’s strange familial dynamics and back to the empty stage.

"Let’s welco the following contestants." He said, gesturing upward to the massive holographic screen.

The digital nas shuffled rapidly for a while, generating the next matchup, then two nas definitively appeared, completely shocking the whole of the three Academies. They blinked In synchronized surprised.

"Please, Captain Jessica from the sword academy, and Captain Eve from the eagle academy, step forward."

".....?!"

Eve was truly, deeply stunned. Why was she paired imdiately with the second most terrifying monster in the whole three academies, and at the very beginning of the match!

Gathering her absolute resolve, she took a steadying step forward, and Jessica also stepped forward.

"Okay, you two knows the rule, and now; begin!" Davy yelled at the top of his lungs, quickly ascending out of the blast radius.
