The "Origin Bullet." Just the na alone makes it sound incredibly powerful.

And truthfully, it is.

As the ultimate trump card of the "Magician Killer," Kiritsugu Emiya, it poses a catastrophic threat to almost all orthodox Mages.

The secret lies in the bullet's raw material. It is crafted from Kiritsugu's own rib bones, ground into dust to preserve his Origin of "Severing and Binding."

In the Type-Moon universe, for a Mage to use magic, they must possess Magic Circuits within their body. Think of a Magic Circuit as the wiring between a light bulb and a power socket. When the wire connects, electricity flows from the socket to the bulb, making it light up.

The effect of the Origin Bullet is essentially hacking that system: it snaps the wire in half and then haphazardly ties the live and neutral wires together in a tangled ss.

If the victim doesn't try to channel power, they might be fine. But the mont they attempt to use magic, the result is a short circuit that blows the light bulb—and the Mage—to smithereens.

In the original lore, Lord Kayneth, suffering from a lack of intel, tried to ramp up his Magic Circuits imdiately after taking a hit from this weapon. The result was horrific: his circuits went berserk, destroying his internal organs and leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. And honestly? That was the best-case scenario. If his luck had been any worse, he would have died on the spot.

However, the timing required to pull this off is incredibly strict. The target has to activate their Magic Circuits almost the exact mont the bullet hits.

Because of this, Max (the developer) slightly tweaked the chanics for the PVP environnt.

He changed it to an "Instant Death" debuff: if the target uses magic within 10 seconds of being hit by the Origin Bullet, they die. If 10 seconds pass without magic usage, the effect expires, and it becos just a normal gunshot wound.

Also, for ga balance, PVP doesn't give you a box of 66 rounds like in the show. That would be broken. Instead, every player who picks the Kiritsugu Emiya character gets exactly one Origin Bullet, loaded into the Thompson Contender. You get one shot.

Monkey, like Maverick, hadn't played the story mode. He went in blind.

And the result, as everyone saw, was a disaster.

Facing a barrage of questions from his stream chat, Monkey, who had finally snapped out of his daze, looked evasive. He coughed awkwardly.

"So... the bullet has a special effect? I had no idea. Man, Maverick really doesn't know how to go easy on a guy. Whatever, let's go raid his stream and see if he can actually secure the 'Winner Winner Chicken Dinner'."

It's a classic strear move: when you screw up, just talk nonsense until the chat moves on.

As Monkey's viewers flooded into Maverick's stream, Maverick's follower count smashed through the 4 million mark. It was safe to say Maverick had practically secured the title of Top Strear for this Holy Grail War event.

anwhile, back in the ga.

Maverick looked at the fading bloodstains on his avatar and the white mist clinging to him. He couldn't help but smile bitterly. He had planned to toy with Monkey a little longer, but that clearly wasn't necessary anymore.

He cleared his mind. No point overthinking it.

He moved to the spot where Monkey had been crouching, looted the sniper rifle, and checked the red dot on his mini-map.

Maverick aid the rifle directly at the Hundred Personas Hassan hiding behind a tree. Without a second of hesitation, he pulled the trigger.

Bang!

The bullet spiraled through the air, piercing the Assassin's skull and embedding itself into the tree bark behind him. The Hassan's body swayed for a second before collapsing onto the roadside with a heavy thud.

Seeing the kill confirm, Maverick pumped his fist in excitent.

However, there is no harm without comparison. Maverick felt great about the shot, but over in Monkey's chat, the viewers were roasting him alive:

[Chat]:[SniperWolf]: I'm speechless. Maverick is playing out of his mind, landing one-tap headshots. Monkey, what exactly are you doing?

[ReportPls]: I want to report this. Maverick has to be cheating. How is this guy, who has a record of 48 deaths in 2 hours, suddenly John Wick?

[GarGod]: Oh, look at you getting triggered. Your strear just isn't as good as ours. Is it that hard to admit Monkey is trash?

[MonkeyFan]: Damn it, to the guy above, are you trying to start a fight?

It can only be said that people's joys and sorrows are not the sa.

Carrying a backpack full of loot, Maverick returned to Elizabeth Bathory.

"How are you holding up? Is your HP okay?" Maverick asked.

"Don't worry, I am a daughter of the noble Bathory family! A re scratch is nothing," Elizabeth said, wincing slightly. "Of course, if you know any healing magic, I wouldn't say no."

"Uh, I don't. But you're a vampire, right? Do you need to drink blood?"

"I refuse! Absolutely not! Gross!" Elizabeth shouted. "If there's normal food, I might be able to recover a bit that way."

"Alright, let's find a restaurant then."

Although Type-Moon started as an adult visual novel, if you want to hit the mainstream market, you have to keep things rated T for Teen. You can't just have characters drinking human blood everywhere. It needed to be more like that popular open-world gacha ga that keeps things family-friendly.

So, even though blood is a source of magical energy in the lore, Max implented a strict rule for the ga: Servants recover health and mana by eating regular food.

Unless it was a very specific Servant trait, most characters preferred replenishing their stats with a burger rather than a vein.

Of course, so lore nerds might ask: Doesn't placing so many food spots in the city make it too easy for the Mages?

To which Max would reply: Is it really uncommon for people to play classes they aren't 'supposed' to play? Look at that certain Assassin who claims to be a Support—get out of my limited gacha pool!

But as the saying goes, fate works in mysterious ways.

Just as Maverick and Elizabeth were scouring the street for a restaurant that hadn't been blown up, they turned a corner and froze.

Standing right there was another duo.

It was like looking in a funhouse mirror. Maverick and the other player, Daisy, both fell silent.

The silence lasted only a second before Daisy—who was staring at Elizabeth's notoriously revealing outfit—spoke up, breaking the tension.

"Can't you find sothing to wear?"

Elizabeth, looking at Daisy's equally questionable attire, scoffed.

"Do you really have the right to say that to ?"
