After the opening, the first thing to do was naturally introductions.
Ichin and the voice actors were already familiar faces to everyone, so a few simple words were enough. However, many people were not familiar with Yagami Kō and Tōyama Rin.
Therefore, just as Kō was about to begin her introduction, Ichin imdiately said from the side,
"Since it's already so rare to drag you out here, don't make your introduction too simple."
Ichin didn't lower his voice when he said this, so both the audience at the venue and those watching the livestream couldn't help but smile.
It seed that even for Ichin, the boss himself, getting her to appear here wasn't easy.
Kō glared at Ichin when she heard that, muttering softly, "I know," before starting her introduction.
"Hello everyone, I'm YC's Art Director, Yagami Kō. I'm also responsible for the art work of Tales of Berseria."
Although her voice carried a bit of nervousness, for Kō this was already a very good performance.
After Kō finished, it was naturally Tōyama Rin's turn. This older sister figure appeared much calr, smiling at the cara as she said,
"Hello everyone, I'm YC's Deputy Art Director, Tōyama Rin. Besides ga art, I'm also responsible for coordinating part of the planning and managent. I'm very happy to be here at the Tokyo Ga Show today, and I hope everyone will enjoy what we have to show next."
After Rin finished her introduction, Ichin added,
"In the past, so of our gas were able to release so quickly, and sotis even release ahead of schedule. Besides the hard work of the company's employees, her coordination played a crucial role. She's one of the most important talents in our company."
Hearing Ichin praise Rin but not herself, Kō looked at him with dissatisfaction and pointed a finger at herself.
The aning was obvious.
What about ? Am I not important too?
Naturally, Ichin showed her no rcy and replied directly,
"You hesitate even when coming on stage for a show, and you're unwilling to even wear a dress. And you still expect to praise you?"
As soon as he said that, the atmosphere at the venue beca even more cheerful.
Those watching the livestream couldn't help but laugh as well.
Aoba covered her mouth and giggled.
"Ichin-kun really isn't giving Kō any face at all."
Utaha, sitting nearby, smiled and explained,
"He's doing it on purpose. Didn't you see how nervous Kō looked? He's deliberately easing her tension so she doesn't focus too much on the audience. As for being angry, she'll probably calm down by the ti she cos back for dinner tonight."
"That's true," Nene nodded in agreent. "Kō wouldn't take it that seriously anyway. And Rin is there with her."
After this lighthearted banter, Kō indeed seed much less nervous, so the host quickly moved on to the next segnt.
"Now then, it's ti to present the latest updates for several gas. President Ichin, which ga will be shown first?"
Ichin nodded.
"For the first one, it's Fall Guys, which has received a lot of love from players since its release. This ti we've brought brand new stage maps and new skins."
Imdiately afterward, the large screen on stage began playing the first promotional video.
Fall Guys had gradually beco one of YC's signature titles. Its player base was stable, updates were frequent, and new content was constantly introduced so players wouldn't feel bored.
This promotional video revealed six brand new stage maps along with eight different thed Fall Guys skins. It also unveiled the new season's content and battle pass rewards.
The first PV alone was packed with content, giving players who loved Fall Guys even more motivation to keep playing.
After Fall Guys, new content PVs for Apex and Garo were shown.
Apex introduced a new season, a new hero, and new weapons. As for Garo, it revealed a free update that would add a battle mode, with the release date set quite soon, in October.
After these three already released gas, players assud the next segnt would be about Tales of Berseria.
However, after briefly discussing the updates for the three gas, Ichin suddenly said,
"Next, we still have sothing new to show. I'm sure many of you know Slay the Spire. That was the first ga I developed, a card climbing ga with roguelike elents. And after Slay the Spire, today we are announcing another brand new card ga. Please take a look."
On the giant screen, under the surprised gazes of everyone present, the promotional PV for Monster Train began playing.
This was the first ti Monster Train had ever been revealed to players.
At first, everyone thought it would be sothing similar to Slay the Spire. But it turned out the differences were quite significant, whether in the art style or gaplay.
Instead of climbing floor by floor through a tower, the ga had players traveling between locations on a train. Battles with monsters also carried a slight tower defense feel.
Players had to protect the core at the top of the train from being destroyed while defeating all incoming monsters.
The visual effects when playing cards were still excellent, and both the card designs and monster styles looked impressive, quickly attracting the interest of players who enjoyed card gas.
Looks pretty good. Judging by this, the price will probably be similar to Slay the Spire, not too expensive.
Yeah, worth buying and trying out.
Hope we can build lots of different deck archetypes again this ti.
After the Monster Train PV ended, the release date was revealed: December 18 of this year.
That ant the ga would launch in just three months.
After Monster Train, it was finally ti for the main highlight of this presentation: Tales of Berseria.
Since the start of its marketing campaign, advertisents for the ga had appeared everywhere, both online and offline.
Combined with the quality shown in its demo version, players already considered it one of the rare major ARPG titles of the year, with almost no competitors in its genre.
This ti, the final PV before release was shown.
In the video, each character received a much more detailed introduction than before. Not only their identities, but each mber of the main cast was given about ten seconds to demonstrate flashy combat gaplay.
These were moves that couldn't be seen in the demo version because the demo limited character levels, preventing certain skills from being used.
At the end of the PV, the title Tales of Berseria appeared along with the release date: September 20.
The mont it appeared, the players watching were completely thrilled.
