Not far from where the space pirates had originally parked their ship stood an ancient ruin shaped like a massive altar.
At the very top of the structure, clear spring water flowed endlessly from a stone basin.
This was the Sacred Spring of Dalvabebit.
The very spring Maashikoru had spoken of.
The sacred water capable of unlocking human potential and dramatically increasing battle power.
After climbing the altar, Maashikoru looked at the remaining spring water with visible pain and anger.
"The Sacred Spring is the life source of Dalvabebit. Those space pirates used up more than half of it. Those bastards..."
As Caelum approached the spring, a powerful wave of life force washed over him.
His entire body felt refreshed instantly.
It was as if every Super Cell inside him had begun cheering in excitent, desperately craving the spring’s power.
Following Dalvabebit tradition, Maashikoru completed a short ritual before scooping a bowl of sacred water with a stone ladle and handing it to Caelum.
"The Sacred Spring mainly works by unlocking a person’s latent potential. The greater your potential, the more strength you gain afterward. Drinking more or less doesn’t really matter."
He paused before continuing.
"For example, Kuri and Karanqiham both drank from it before. Kuri gained three hundred points of battle power, but Karanqiham only gained two hundred. That difference cos down entirely to potential."
In other words, stronger people did not necessarily gain more power from the spring.
Sotis the opposite was true.
Caelum imdiately downed the entire bowl in one gulp.
The instant the sacred water entered his body, it transford into an imnse surge of life force that flooded through every corner of him.
At the sa ti, every hidden fragnt of potential inside each of his Super Cells was forcibly awakened.
Boom!
A blazing aura exploded from Caelum’s body uncontrollably.
The energy surrounding him surged higher and higher at an astonishing rate.
"This feeling..."
Excitent filled Caelum’s eyes.
Even he had no idea how much potential the Super Cells truly possessed.
It was impossible to estimate.
The Sacred Spring continuously unleashed the dormant power hidden within them.
His battle power skyrocketed.
1300!
1500!
2000!
2500!
3000!
4000!
Only after reaching 4000 battle power did the growth finally stop.
Feeling the overwhelming energy flowing through his body, Caelum could barely suppress his excitent.
What did 4000 battle power an?
It ant Caelum could erase a massive modern city with a single Energy Cannon.
And that was only his normal state.
If he activated [Triple Explosion Aura], his battle power would rise to 12000.
And if he unleashed a full power [Fivefold Energy Cannon], the destructive force would montarily reach a terrifying 60000 battle power.
At that level, destroying planets was practically effortless.
The destructive power was absurd.
Caelum asked,
"So the Sacred Spring only works once?"
"Yeah."
Maashikoru nodded.
"Even after soone unlocks their potential once, they can still continue growing stronger through training and battle. But the Sacred Spring itself only works the first ti. Drinking it again afterward does nothing."
A sha.
Still, rely making a trip to Dalvabebit had raised his battle power all the way to 4000.
The gains from this journey were already enormous.
Caelum was more than satisfied.
Suddenly—
The sky darkened.
"What’s going on?"
Caelum looked up.
A gigantic spaceship was slowly descending from outside the atmosphere, completely blocking out the sunlight over Dalvabebit.
His brows furrowed.
"There’s an extrely strong aura inside that ship."
How strong?
Roughly 100000 battle power.
Maashikoru was initially confused.
But the mont he recognized the ship’s appearance, terror rapidly spread across his face.
His body began trembling uncontrollably.
"Haynor Legion?!"
Caelum glanced at him.
"Haynor?"
Maashikoru nodded anxiously.
"According to rumors, Haynor is a cosmic powerhouse who prolongs his lifespan by devouring the life force of planets. The force he commands is called the Haynor Legion. Karanqiham and the others must have sold Dalvabebit’s information to them. Otherwise there’s no way they would’ve co here!"
He had never imagined Karanqiham would bring such a catastrophe upon Dalvabebit.
The situation had completely exceeded anything he could prepare for.
Caelum calmly gave his suggestion.
"I think your people should leave Dalvabebit imdiately. Once this turns into a fight, there’s no guarantee this planet won’t end up shattered into cosmic dust."
There was probably no other option.
Maashikoru froze.
"A fight? You an..."
Caelum grinned slightly.
"I’m going to have so fun with them."
After hesitating briefly, Maashikoru finally decided to follow Caelum’s advice.
Before Haynor’s ship fully descended, he hurried off to evacuate his people from Dalvabebit.
The planet was dood.
There was no point struggling anymore.
"No matter what happens, thank you for helping us!"
Maashikoru bowed sincerely before quickly leaving.
anwhile, aboard the Haynor Legion flagship—
A blue skinned alien covered in black spots sat at the center of the control room.
At first glance, he looked like nothing more than a frail old man with wrinkled skin.
But every mber of the legion around him barely dared breathe.
Even one glance from Haynor carried terrifying pressure.
"Cough... cough..."
Haynor coughed weakly twice.
Then he looked at the lush and vibrant Dalvabebit displayed on the screen and smiled in satisfaction.
"What a wonderfully lively planet."
"I never expected that useless trash Karanqiham would finally prove useful for once."
"Orlando."
"Use this planet to plant the Spirit Tree."
"I can hardly wait any longer."
"Yes, Commander."
Unlike the bizarre looking aliens around him, Orlando was a pure human.
He respectfully accepted the order.
"I’ll handle it imdiately."
Before the massive spaceship even landed, Orlando departed with several other humans through the hatch and arrived above a canyon on Dalvabebit ahead of the fleet.
One of the humans could not help saying,
"They say eating the fruit of the Spirit Tree can increase battle power without limit. I wonder if that legend is actually true."
"If it is..."
"Then wouldn’t we be able to dominate the entire galaxy?"
Orlando took out a green seed and casually tossed it into the canyon below.
"After all, it’s only an ancient legend from deep space. We only found this Spirit Tree seed recently inside so ruins. There’s no guarantee the stories are real."
"Let’s wait and see."
Even so, Orlando’s eyes burned with anticipation.
If the legends were true, then the Haynor Legion ruling the galaxy would no longer be so distant fantasy.
Their strength would skyrocket beyond imagination.
And once they returned to the real world, they would instantly beco top tier powerhouses.
That was right.
Orlando and the other humans were not NPCs from the Super Universe.
They were players from the real world.
And anyone capable of joining the Haynor Legion was already considered extrely powerful among Super Universe players.
Boom!
The mont the Spirit Tree seed landed inside the canyon, it imdiately rooted itself and began growing at a terrifying speed.
Within monts, it beca a colossal towering tree.
Massive dragon like roots spread wildly through the earth, greedily devouring Dalvabebit’s imnse life force without restraint.
