Now reading: Chapter 73: Mordren from Game Invasion: 100x Evolution, From Weak to God, a Game novel by Cyvia.

After entering the hotel, Caelum did not attack imdiately.

Instead, he carefully observed his surroundings first.

The enhanced physique granted by dual Heavenly Restrictions sharpened his senses to an abnormal degree. His hearing, sll, and perception had all beco monstrously acute.

Even outside his line of sight, he could still form an incredibly detailed picture of everything nearby.

Residual traces of Cursed Energy.

Footsteps approaching from hidden corners.

Whispers.

Breathing.

Heartbeats.

Based on all the information his senses gathered, there were no fewer than twenty Sorcerers inside this hotel.

And beyond them, nurous Cursed Spirits lurked under their control.

Seeing how cautious Caelum was, Mordren remained perfectly calm.

He smiled faintly.

"You ca all the way here, yet you still hesitate to attack."

"Afraid of causing chaos? Worried innocent civilians might get caught in the crossfire?"

"Then again, you are an Academy Sorcerer."

Maybe Zephyr and Sylas would have held back because of concerns like that.

Caelum would not.

He did not care whether human society remained stable.

Nor did he care whether his actions would spread panic and create even more Cursed Spirits.

What mattered to him was simple.

Mordren’s faction was clearly far stronger than the Divine Grace Society.

The instant their eyes t—

Caelum moved.

And imdiately went for the kill.

Mordren’s gaze turned cold.

"Kill him."

Winifred reacted instantly.

Cursed Energy surged violently through her body.

Even with the binding restriction limiting him to only half his power, the strength produced by Caelum’s dual Heavenly Restrictions was still terrifying beyond reason.

He threw a single punch.

Winifred did not even have ti to activate a technique before exploding into a cloud of blood.

Mordren’s expression shifted in shock.

Then Caelum’s kick smashed into him at lightning speed.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The force behind the strike was unbelievably savage.

Mordren’s body blasted through multiple thick reinforced walls in succession, nearly tearing straight through the entire first floor of the hotel.

The enormous noise instantly alerted every Sorcerer inside.

They rushed toward the lobby at top speed.

The mont they saw what happened, their expressions changed dramatically.

"Lord Mordren!"

Their eyes locked onto Caelum with furious hatred.

"Kill him!"

Whoosh!

Caelum vanished again.

His speed was so absurd that none of the Sorcerers could track him at all.

To them, it looked almost identical to teleportation.

In just three seconds—

Seven Grade One Sorcerers.

Three Grade One Cursed Spirits.

Fifteen Grade Two Sorcerers.

Eleven Grade Two Cursed Spirits.

All annihilated.

None of them could resist even slightly.

One after another, they exploded into bloody mist exactly like Winifred, flesh and organs scattering across the floor.

The entire scene resembled a slaughterhouse.

If Zephyr and Sylas could be considered top tier Grade One Sorcerers, then Caelum, while using only the power of his dual Heavenly Restrictions, existed at an even higher level.

Below Special Grade.

Above Grade One.

And that was while weakened by the Binding Art.

Without the suppression from the binding restriction, Caelum’s dual Heavenly Restrictions would place him firmly at true Special Grade level.

An absurdly powerful Special Grade at that.

"So that’s how it is."

Despite taking a direct kick from Caelum, Mordren showed no injuries whatsoever.

He calmly brushed dust from his clothes, amazent filling his eyes.

"A physical body this overwhelmingly powerful without relying on techniques..."

"The only explanation I can think of is Heavenly Restriction."

"The strange part is that you also possess Cursed Energy at the sa ti."

"Hard to believe, but if I’m correct..."

"You’re a Sorcerer possessing both types of Heavenly Restriction simultaneously."

He stared at Caelum as if admiring a priceless treasure.

Before this, Mordren had never even heard of soone with dual Heavenly Restrictions.

Any Heavenly Restriction user who fully matured would at minimum beco a top tier Grade One Sorcerer.

So exceptionally gifted combat geniuses could even reach Special Grade strength if equipped with Special Grade cursed tools.

That alone was already monstrous.

Yet Caelum possessed both forms at once.

People like him practically entered the world already carrying Special Grade level combat power.

Mordren genuinely admired him.

Eyes blazing with excitent, he extended an invitation.

"I know you’ll probably refuse."

"But I still have to ask."

"Would you join ?"

"Together, we could destroy this rotten sorcerer world and create a completely new one."

"No interest."

Caelum instantly appeared in front of Mordren.

His fist, wrapped in dense Cursed Energy, exploded forward.

In the blink of an eye, he landed more than twenty consecutive punches directly onto Mordren’s body.

Boom!

A violent shockwave erupted.

Mordren’s body shattered apart piece by piece, exposing intricate chanical structures hidden beneath the surface.

It was a cursed corpse.

A remotely controlled construct created through a fusion of machinery and cursed techniques.

In simpler terms, it was basically a magically modified robot.

Which ant—

Mordren’s real body was not here.

Caelum did not particularly care.

After all, he had not revealed his true strength yet.

If Mordren mistook this for the limit of his power, their next encounter would beco far more interesting.

Honestly, Caelum welcod the chance for Mordren to co back later and provide him with more fragnts.

Using its remaining arm, the cursed corpse rapidly ford hand signs.

"Eternal Dusk—"

Before the technique could finish, Caelum tore the construct’s final arm off by force.

Sparks burst outward.

Then a vicious high kick sent the cursed corpse’s head flying clean off.

Boom!

The severed head embedded itself deep into a wall, spiderweb cracks spreading outward instantly.

The battle was over.

From beginning to end, not a single Sorcerer had successfully completed a full technique in front of Caelum.

Forget fighting back.

He never even gave them ti to finish hand signs.

Against Sorcerers, overwhelming lethal force was the correct answer.

Mordren sighed.

"What a waste of talent."

"I truly didn’t want to beco enemies with soone like you."

"You Sorcerers are all so stubborn..."

The cursed corpse’s eyes dimd completely.

It shut down for good.

Caelum suddenly narrowed his eyes.

A trace of surprise crossed his face.

"You Sorcerers?"

At first glance, the wording sounded normal.

But after thinking about it carefully, Caelum imdiately realized sothing.

There was a very high chance Mordren was not actually native to the world of Cursecraft.

He was probably another player.

The phrase "you Sorcerers" clearly revealed that, subconsciously, Mordren did not view himself as one of them.

He had instinctively separated himself from Sorcerers entirely.

Of course, this was still only intuition.

But Caelum felt fairly certain about his conclusion.

"Well. That’s an unexpected bonus."

The battle ended.

White fragnts drifted out from the remains of the dead Sorcerers and Cursed Spirits all around him.

Even the destroyed cursed corpse contributed several fragnts.

The fragnts gathered together before Caelum, forming a glowing sphere.

The giant red button appeared once more.

Beside it, the critical gauge trembled eagerly.
