Now reading: Chapter 407 - 407 from Game Maker: Starting by Healing the Players, a Adventure novel by GustinaKamiya.

The research and developnt of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" has been successfully approved and has begun secretly within Nebula Gas.

During this ti, the progress on the Switch side has not stopped either.

For players, the open-world exclusive masterpiece Lucas ntioned earlier feels more like a big, empty promise.

It's only Nebula Gas' and Lucas' reputation that keeps many players still hopeful.

If it were a regular ga company, the reaction would be a simple 'Pfft!'

But even though this open-world masterpiece is just a promise, there's still so real stuff going on.

That is, during this ti, many third-party ga companies have been porting so classic gas to the Switch platform.

Even though many are just old gas brought back, they've added so extra effort, like soy sauce and eggs, to spice them up when they co to the Switch.

Combined with the Switch's unique motion control gaplay, many ga companies are specially doing high-definition remasters of their classic gas.

I have to say, compared to many ga companies in the previous world, especially Japanese companies like SE who just throw on so high-definition textures and dare to sell it for a lot of money, calling it authentic and original, which is exactly the sa as it was ten or twenty years ago, of course it's authentic and original.

And the remasters done by the ga companies in this parallel world are very kind, with improved graphics of course.

They've also completely adapted the controls for the Switch platform, and so have even added new story and content.

Whether it's good or bad, at least the effort is there, which is also related to Nebula Gas' strict review system.

For example, the Atari crash in the previous world, many people think it was caused by the ET ga, but that was just a trigger.

The real reason was the large number of bad gas on the Atari platform.

So, whether it's the Nebula Gas platform on PC or the Switch, Nebula Gas is very careful about reviewing gas.

Besides gas,

the popularity of the Switch overseas has also slowed down a bit for now.

Nebula Gas hasn't continued to announce Switch sales publicly.

But many third-party statistics companies have been paying attention.

After all, these data statistics companies have their own sources of information, so it's not difficult for them to collect data if they want to.

Switch's global sales are at 7.2 million units.

Although the growth rate isn't as fast as when it first launched, it's maintaining a very healthy curve.

The industry is constantly discussing this.

"It seems like Switch's global sales have already exceeded 7 million!"

"Yeah, and the sales of so third-party independent gas that have been released are doing pretty well."

"It's definitely a great success, but the current slowdown in sales is mainly because there aren't enough gas."

"Not enough? There are quite a few, if you include the gas in the mbership library, there are a total of sixty or seventy first-party and third-party gas on the Switch."

"Those are mostly small independent gas and ported gas, which don't have much buying power. Besides "Super Mario: Odyssey" and "Animal Crossing", other gas aren't very appealing."

"That's true, but there's nothing we can do about it, considering the Switch's capabilities."

"But didn't Lucas say he was going to make an open-world ga?"

"I doubt it, the hardware is too weak."

"I don't think so, Lucas wouldn't have said that if he didn't have a plan."

"But SkyNova and NetDragon's open-world masterpieces are also scheduled for the second half of the year!"

"They don't really conflict, according to Lucas, this is an exclusive ga for the Switch platform, and they're launching on VR, the platforms are different, so what's the problem?"

"That's true."

During this ti, various companies have also started promoting their own gas.

And almost all of them are open-world gas.

Open world, this term is no longer new.

After "Red Dead Redemption," it's rare to find a ga company that hasn't made an open-world ga.

Players were instantly filled with both joy and confusion.

Joy because there were so many great gas to choose from, and confusion because they didn't know which one to buy, since players' wallets aren't bottomless.

But what many people didn't expect was that Lucas joined the fray at this mont.

On his official blog, Lucas posted a new ssage.

'The developnt progress of the Switch exclusive open-world ga that I promised you is very encouraging!'

A simple sentence.

Well, of course, there was more than just one sentence.

Because it was accompanied by a ga concept art image.

On a rock, a blond young man wearing a blue coat stood looking into the distance.

He held a sword and shield in his hand, and carried a bow and quiver on his back.

In the distance, a volcano spewed out thick smoke, the clouds obscured the setting sun on the mountain peaks, but the light that shone through was still very bright.

Forests, mountains, rivers, and in the far distance,

stood a castle surrounded by a dark red aura.

At the sa ti, on the right was the na of the ga: "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."

After seeing it, all the players were excited and surprised.

And it's a cartoon-style rendering?

Players started discussing it instantly.

"So this is the art style of the new ga? Like a cartoon?"

"I guess Lucas had no choice, considering the Switch's capabilities."

"What are you talking about? I think it looks pretty good! It looks great, with a watercolor-like feel."

"But how can you make an open-world ga with this art style? Like "Super Mario: Odyssey"? I still don't understand."

"If you could understand it, you wouldn't be playing gas here. But judging from the concept art, this ga definitely has a combat system."

"Stop guessing, let's just wait for the ga to co out and see. Lucas has never let us down."

"Stop talking, didn't Boss Lucas say that the ga's developnt progress is very encouraging? The ga should be coming out soon, so let's just wait and see the final product, right?"

"So the main character of the ga is called Zelda? The na sounds a bit strange."

Everyone discussed it, and finally ca to a few conclusions.

First, the ga shouldn't be a puzzle-solving ga like "Super Mario: Odyssey," but definitely has combat elents, otherwise the sword, shield, and bow would be useless.

Second, the ga has a cartoon-style rendering, of course, the actual effect isn't clear yet, but it doesn't look too bad based on the concept art.

Third, the main character's na is Zelda, after all, the ga's na is "The Legend of Zelda," so the whole story should be about how the protagonist Zelda becos a legend. Also, considering the cartoon style, the ga's story shouldn't be too heavy.

Fourth, and most importantly, the ga's developnt progress is very encouraging, so they might be able to play it soon.
