Now reading: Chapter 133 - 133 - Esmelrada's Death from Game Of Thrones: The King's Court Wizard, a Other novel by TheGreatPrince.

"That old lion has arrived," Rhaegar said with a malicious smile. The war had been going on for days, and casualties were mounting. Even with high morale, he knew better than anyone that humans were volatile and the death of comrades greatly affected one's mind.

Thus, he knew that this morale could not remain so high in the future.

"My king, news has arrived from Moat Cailin." The Hand of the King, Raymun Darry, approached the king and handed him a rolled sheet of paper, fastened by a ribbon.

Rhaegar undid the ribbon and opened the paper; his eyes narrowed in a cold look. "Balon has retreated; Eddard is arriving with the Northern army."

Everyone in the tent understood what those words ant. The army of the Vale and the Stormlands was fighting against the Targaryen and Tyrell armies. Coming from the north, the Northern Army would attack from behind!

Even with the arrival of the Westerlands, being attacked from front and back had only one result: the dispersion of the army and total chaos on the battlefield. Once that happens, Robert Baratheon and Jon Arryn will no longer have control over their own armies!

The nobles appeared happy and began to laugh; a light atmosphere full of confidence hung in the air. It was excellent news.

Rhaegar did not stop this; even if it were dangerous, only a fool would stop his subordinates from being happy. Happiness was a facet of hope; there was no king who would be against feeling hope.

"I know you are happy, but let's focus on beating these small-dicked bastards," Rhaegar said with a laugh, making the n around him burst into laughter.

Raymun rolled his eyes at words too vulgar to be uttered by a king, but seeing the king's smile, he chose to ignore it. It was truly good news on this battlefield of death and madness.

Suddenly, seeing Cadmus entering the tent with a white-haired, green-eyed girl with a scar on her face, by now everyone knew the girl was Cadmus's apprentice. It would be a lie to say Rhaegar wasn't envious of the girl. His son had only received the basics of the basics, but the girl would truly receive a part of Cadmus's legacy. There was no way not to envy her.

Unfortunately, he had no more children; otherwise, he would propose a marriage between the girl and one of his sons.

Despite his thoughts, Rhaegar smiled and greeted his Good-Brother. "Cadmus, good news!"

"I can see," Cadmus said with a laugh. Ciri was behind him, observing the king with a calm but curious look.

Rhaegar smiled friendly at the girl and looked back at Cadmus; he handed the paper into the court mage's hands.

After reading the content of the paper, Cadmus understood everyone's happiness. However, looking at the cold smile on the king's lips, he understood that the king wanted sothing from him.

"I want to have a private conversation with my court mage," Rhaegar said, looking at everyone present.

The nobles looked at each other and stood up, all except Raymun. After all, he was the Hand of the King.

Seconds later, there were only a few people in the tent: the Kingsguard, the King, the Court Mage, the Hand of the King, and Ciri.

"We know where Balon is, and there is no one near him besides his fleet," Rhaegar comnted with a cold look.

"I want to ask you to exterminate the entire House Greyjoy fleet; no need to leave anyone alive, I only want the head of Balon and all the remaining Greyjoys," Rhaegar said in a chilling tone, declaring the death of tens of thousands of people in an instant.

"If I do that, the Iron Islands will have no population," Cadmus said in a calm tone. If he did what Rhaegar asked, the Iron Islands would cease to be a kingdom of any economic importance.

"I know, but it doesn't matter. I'm planning to repopulate the region with commoners from other kingdoms." Rhaegar certainly knew the consequences of his actions. But in his eyes, losing about twenty to thirty years of taxes—the ti it would take to rebuild the Iron Islands—he preferred to finish off Balon and his entire fleet.

Cadmus looked at him and, after seeing his cold expression, nodded. Although killing tens of thousands of people left him a bit hesitant, when he rembered they were rapists and the worst scum of humanity, that hesitation ceased to exist.

"I will bring their heads," Cadmus said in a calm tone. As if destroying a fleet alone wasn't actually absurdly incredible.

"Don't think of them as humans; they are a bunch of rapists, they don't deserve our compassion." Rhaegar placed his hand on Cadmus's shoulder and spoke in a calm tone. The king knew such an act was not simple; it was tens of thousands of lives. Even the maddest of people would be a bit undecided, let alone a normal person.

"I rembered a saying," Cadmus said with a smile. "If you kill one person, you are a murderer, but if you kill a thousand, you are a monster; if you kill ten thousand, you are a hero."

Rhaegar raised an eyebrow and comnted with a touch of sarcasm. "Humans are truly ugly."

Cadmus understood what he ant.

When sothing becos common, death doesn't seem so impressive.

"I will take my leave," Cadmus said in a calm tone.

Rhaegar nodded and looked at the map of Westeros on the table. He reached out, and the wooden piece representing House Greyjoy toppled with a flick of his finger.

For so reason, the sound of the piece falling sounded particularly loud and thunderous.

Outside the tent, Cadmus and Ciri walked side by side through the sea of tents. The sll of blood and iron hung in the air, the screams of agony from the wounded, and the sll of burning in the air.

"Teacher, are you really going to do it?" Ciri asked in a low tone. She didn't doubt his ability to do it; Yennefer had already said Cadmus was an Apostle-level being, a true living legend.

"Yes," Cadmus replied in a calm tone.

Ciri looked at him and, even though she hadn't spent much ti with Cadmus, she already knew her teacher was by nature playful and very casual; he wasn't a murderous monster or even a tyrant. Aside from the fact that he liked to dissect people, he was a good man.

"Don't think too much about it." Cadmus looked at the girl and ruffled her hair with a big smile on his face. "Along with the Dothraki, they are truly one of the most despicable peoples of this world. They all deserve to die."

Ciri, who had a neutral opinion of the Iron Islands, now had a negative one. If there was sothing everyone in Essos hated, it was the Dothraki. If there was a consensus in Essos, it was that these nomads should cease to exist.

It was no exaggeration to say that out of ten orphans, six beca orphans because of the Dothraki. Not to ntion the countless descendants left through the innurable rapes of many peoples.

Entering his tent, Cadmus saw that the place was very different from before. There was a feminine touch that only won could provide.

Obviously, Yennefer and Triss had decorated the place.

Cadmus saw both witches sitting side by side, writing fervently. Yennefer, Triss, and Cadmus had spent three whole days dissecting the saint's body and wrote down many findings.

As for Cadmus, he made the quills write for him, which made Triss and Yennefer look at the spell with envy. You can criticize the spells of the Harry Potter universe a lot, but when it cos to spell refinent, the Harry Potter universe was ahead of this universe.

"Yennefer, I will be absent for a mont and I'm taking Ciri with ," Cadmus said, snapping his fingers. An erald cloak ca out of his bag and landed elegantly on his shoulders.

Yennefer looked at Cadmus in surprise and also confusion. She already knew there was an Apostle-level Red Witch on the enemy side and didn't understand why Cadmus would leave his post in the face of such a dangerous enemy.

Honestly, after learning there was an Apostle-level enemy on the other side, Yennefer felt a chill. She couldn't believe that on this continent, there were four such powerful beings—or rather, only three now.

The saint had been killed by Kinvara and Cadmus.

"The king asked to destroy the Greyjoy Fleet, and I'm taking Ciri with ."

"I'm going?" Ciri asked in a shocked tone.

"Yes, I want to show off to my lovely student."
