Ming Po considered the possibility, and a surge of excitent ran through him. Wait, this might actually work!

The Bacchus Shrine itself was an incredibly valuable Treasure. Naless had previously told Ming Po that Divine Cody was dedicating all of its resources to finding it. The news eventually leaked, prompting every Deceiver of the World organization, large and small, to join the hunt.

At the ti, Ming Po hadn't fully grasped the true weight behind the na "Divine Cody." Even after the Red Queen's appearance, he had only seen the tip of the iceberg.

It wasn't until he witnessed the sheer scale of the Chinese Chamber of Comrce with his own eyes that he truly comprehended Divine Cody's influence, and indirectly, the value of the Bacchus Shrine. An organization as massive as the Chinese Chamber of Comrce, whose influence was so great that even the Authorities chose to tacitly compromise with them, still feared... or was at least deeply wary of Divine Cody.

This proved that Divine Cody held an almost god-like, supre status within the Deceiver circles in China. It also proved that the Bacchus Shrine possessed an extraordinary value—one so high that ordinary people couldn't even comprehend it.

But did the ability to switch Titles really grant it that level of influence? Furthermore, why were the Titles represented as "liquor"?

The history of mixing alcohol with spices, honey, and other ingredients was ancient. Since Ming Po could mix Madman's Absinthe with cola... why couldn't he mix liquor with liquor?

This was obviously dangerous. If it failed, the best-case scenario would be that nothing happened. If things went poorly, it might trigger a dangerous reaction... like stacking negative effects, or both bottles of liquor shattering.

The worst-case scenario would be like eating two Devil Fruits and exploding to death.

But without a doubt... taking this gamble was worth it!

If he succeeded, he would gain an unimaginable advantage. And there was a real possibility of success—a fairly high one, in fact! It was impossible for Ming Po not to be tempted.

He walked toward the amber glow of the wine cabinet, examining the four bottles resting upon it.

Madman was a bottle of absinthe—likely traditional absinthe, which Ming Po dreaded quite a bit.

Detective was a ruby port with strong cherry and strawberry notes, likely suitable for flavoring. The newly repaired Frankenstein was a brandy; based on information Ming Po had looked up, it was probably a Cognac. Werewolf, on the other hand, was a whiskey. It possessed a heavy sandalwood and smoked bacon aroma, likely so kind of peated single malt. Ming Po wasn't much of a connoisseur, so he couldn't identify the specific brand or category.

Among them, Detective, Frankenstein, and Madman were all Day's False Gold tier liquors, while Werewolf was Hour's Red Copper. Relying on his intuition, Ming Po picked up Detective and Werewolf.

The smoked bacon flavor of the whiskey didn't seem like it would clash with the sweet red berry taste. Moreover, Werewolf's power was relatively weak... if a conflict occurred between the two, his chances of survival would be higher.

Ming Po found an empty glass and poured roughly five parts Detective to one part Werewolf.

Logically, the amount of alcohol didn't matter. Taking a sip or downing a whole glass would equally switch his Title... so he might as well cater to his own taste buds.

With this flavor profile, ice cubes felt inappropriate. Ming Po actually thought it should be heated... if he added so tropical fruit notes, it might make a decent hot mulled wine.

But this was just an experint, so he didn't have the leisure for that. After mixing the liquor, he didn't add any garnishes—he simply downed it in one gulp!

This was undoubtedly a bold attempt! The powers of the Domain of Wisdom and the Domain of Slaughter mixing together could potentially tear him apart!

But strangely enough...

Ming Po didn't feel the slightest trace of pain.

His pupils didn't violently flash with two different colors like a traffic signal... instead, a dim yellow radiance representing the Domain of Slaughter lit up directly.

[Title Switched]

[Currently Equipped: Werewolf Detective (Slaughter - False Gold)]

[Werewolf Detective equip effect has activated]

In that instant, Ming Po felt his body expanding. His jaw elongated into a wolf's snout... grayish-black fur sprouted across his skin, his spine hunched over, and his muscles grew significantly denser.

Ming Po had turned into a bona fide werewolf!

Yet, strangely, he didn't lose his mind like the werewolves in works of fiction.

Instead, he retained complete rationality, just as he did when using the Detective Title. There was none of the ntal tornt and devastation associated with the Domain of Slaughter... it was just like using a normal Domain of Wisdom Title.

It was as if he was still a Detective.

Only, his body was no longer frail...

Ming Po reached out to set down his glass, only to find that his hand had morphed into a hideous, clawed paw.

He paused for a mont, a strange sensation rising in his chest.

But soon, Ming Po's dim yellow, slit-like pupils widened slightly.

Right before his eyes, a line of text surfaced over the glass still containing the remnants of his drink:

[Werewolf Detective]

[Type: Treasure, Consumable]

[Effect: Drink to gain the temporary Title "Werewolf Detective"]

[Restriction: Only effective for the first person to take the first sip, and only effective for one ga. While this effect is active, both "Detective" and "Werewolf" will be locked simultaneously, unless a new mixed drink is used to replace this effect.]

[Description: A new Title ford by combining "Detective" and "Werewolf", an unstable concoction.]

...I can see the liquor's attributes?!

He imdiately stood up and reached out to touch the Bacchus Shrine.

Unfortunately, the Bacchus Shrine still did not display any useful information.

And the glass of liquor didn't display the most important detail—the "equip effect" of the Title.

Ming Po still didn't know what the specific effect of this new Title was... he only knew that it retained the ability to "appraise."

So, Ming Po brought out a bunch of glasses.

He combined the four bottles of liquor in pairs, then in threes... testing them one by one.

The first combination to be eliminated was the three-liquor mix. When Ming Po added absinthe to the [Werewolf Detective]...

A single drop caused a violent explosion!

Glass shards sprayed out instantly, flying straight at Ming Po's face!

But they were blocked by the thick werewolf fur, completely failing to harm him. Ming Po didn't even feel any pain.

...It can even be used as an explosive. Not bad.

Ming Po was actually quite pleased.

If he designed a device that kept a pure liquor and a mixed liquid separated until activation... wouldn't that make a perfect ti bomb? The yield didn't seem massive, but it was enough to make do.
