"Holy shit!"

Gao Fan jumped in fright.

He scrambled to his feet, stumbling and staggering as he dashed outside.

He had barely stood up, completely unable to control his montum, and imdiately ate dirt again.

This ti, he didn't even bother trying to stand up properly. Instead, using both his hands and feet, he half-crawled and half-ran his way out!

The mont he reached the corridor, a blinding crimson light nearly seared Gao Fan's eyes.

Directly across from the corridor were the campus trees, rockeries, and a lake.

There was no light there at all. If one only wanted to flee for their life, hiding there would definitely be the best choice. Gao Fan was confident that as long as he made it there, the monster wouldn't be able to catch him.

This was the experience he had gained from fleeing through complex terrain countless tis!

Even a monster capable of wiping out a group of over twenty people wouldn't be able to catch him!

However...

Gao Fan's instincts scread at him that every place devoid of light was pulsating with a deadly red threat.

The only safe path was the end of this corridor!

Gao Fan instinctively wanted to turn back and lock the door.

But he realized the lock wasn't even on the door. That security guard had shoved the lock straight into his pocket when he entered the room!

"Are you sick in the head?!"

Gao Fan cursed and fled frantically.

"Don't run... so fast!"

The security guard let out a blurry, monster-like roar and stumbled out of the classroom.

His figure was excessively tall, easily over two ters. This was probably why this specific classroom had a raised ceiling.

In that mont, Gao Fan even hallucinated that he was in a fantasy instance.

It was exactly like a goblin being hunted down by a troll!

Although Gao Fan ran fast enough, his stride was a bit too short.

He felt like he had been running for at least half a minute, but the corridor stretched on endlessly.

Suddenly, the lights in the corridor went out.

A deeper shade of green abruptly appeared before Gao Fan's eyes.

He didn't hesitate at all. Like playing Temple Run, he veered into that branching path without a second thought.

After turning the corner, there were still endless classrooms ahead of him.

Gao Fan continued running forward, and soon after, another green marker appeared out of thin air.

He turned in that direction again, and the heavy footsteps behind him grew fainter and fainter until they vanished completely.

...Did I finally shake him off?

He let out a sigh of relief and slowly ca to a halt.

His only real forte was probably running away. For his age, a twenty-seven or twenty-eight-year-old adult male suddenly sprinting wildly for five or six minutes should at least feel a burning in his throat, even if his legs didn't ache.

However, Gao Fan only felt like he had done a warm-up. He actually felt much more energized.

"Where did you run out from?"

Suddenly, Big Brother Xiao's surprised voice rang out.

Imdiately after, that exceptionally handso, yet vampire-like pale and gloomy face abruptly appeared right in front of him.

Even while wearing that unusually bulky autumn/winter blue and white school uniform that practically applied a negative twenty penalty to his attractiveness, his distinctly unusual aura was still palpable.

And next to Big Brother Xiao, there was actually another adult wearing a school uniform!

He was squatting on the ground, dry heaving.

Gao Fan froze for a mont before realizing he had finally found his main group.

"Thank goodness!"

He instantly felt extrely excited, a profound sense of security welling up within him.

Unlike before... when Big Brother Xiao had annihilated his forr teammates, even though Gao Fan felt a sense of relief and joy at the successful revenge, he had still been quite terrified of this new, murderous captain.

Mainly because... he was just too violent.

Titles exerted a slight influence on an individual's way of thinking. This was the reason why transcendents from the Domain of Strength and the Domain of Slaughter were usually not quite normal. The forr would experience a decline in intelligence and beco far more brutal than usual, while the latter would develop ntal abnormalities.

If they couldn't resist the alienation brought by the Title, a person would gradually beco a slave to that power.

Gao Fan was afraid that one day, if he said the wrong thing and offended this captain, his head would get twisted right off.

Just like Holander.

But now, upon finding the captain, Gao Fan only felt an overwhelmingly strong sense of security.

Gao Fan even believed the captain could punch that damned security guard to death in one hit!

Of course... it was best not to test that theory if possible.

"Introduce yourself, Little Fan."

Ming Po nodded at him. "This is Classmate Chen."

Hearing Ming Po's words, Gao Fan paused.

He originally wanted to say sothing like, 'Is it really okay to reveal our true nas?' But upon seeing Ming Po's warning gaze, he instantly shivered and caught on.

He rembered that burly man whose head had exploded!

That man had clearly been bewitched by his Domain of Strength Title, developing an inflated sense of omnipotence, and thus attempted to use violence to clear the ga.

Actually, doing so wasn't strictly impossible... but explicit rules could not be violated.

Unfortunately for him, he hadn't yet seen the requirent in the text ssage:

[This ga requires roleplay. Any behavior exceeding the rationality of the role may result in life-threatening danger.]

That person had tried to attack and kill the invigilator, which was simply not sothing a student should do.

Therefore, he had violated the rule of rationality and was instantly killed.

Later, the girl who had tried to cheat and was caught by the invigilator rely got her arm torn off... but didn't die. Although this violated the exam room rules, it still fell within the realm of a student's behavior, making the event 'rational'.

It was the sa right now.

No one knew if they were still considered to be 'taking an exam' after fainting in the exam room.

If they used pseudonyms or Titles, they might trigger this taboo!

After all, another rule was to write down your own na!

He didn't dare to gamble.

So, Gao Fan lowered his head in thought for a mont before following Big Brother Xiao's lead and smiling, "Hello, Classmate Chen. Just call Little Fan."

Chen Bingwen let out two dry laughs and nodded in agreent. "Calling Brother Chen is fine too."

"Alright, Big Brother Chen."

Gao Fan readily complied.

He looked at Chen Bingwen and suddenly realized... this 'Big Brother Chen' seed sowhat afraid.

...What was he afraid of?

Was it the security guard chasing them?

Gao Fan looked toward Ming Po and asked, "Big Brother Xiao... where are we going next?"

"To find the teachers' office."

Ming Po was tossing sothing in his hand, speaking casually. "There are definitely clues there. If we can't find it, we'll see if there are any spaces other than the classrooms."

It was only then that Gao Fan realized... they seed to have entered a massive labyrinth at so point.

To their right were densely packed classrooms, stretching infinitely into the darkness at the end of their vision.

And on the left...

The left was no longer that pitch-black campus forest.

Instead, it was a profound void, resembling a hollowed-out tube-shaped apartnt building!

Looking to the left, there were still densely packed classrooms.

Gao Fan was startled.

He leaned over and looked down.

He saw an almost bottomless depth—it went down for at least twenty floors.

Looking up, there were even more floors above than there were below!

But when he had rushed out of the classroom earlier, he had seen it clearly. That classroom was definitely on the first floor!

Gao Fan had only turned left once and turned right once to arrive here.

He had a bit of a fear of heights and completely didn't dare to look down.

And through the corridors on the left, he could even see people walking on every single floor.

So were exploring, so were conversing with others, so were fleeing in panic, and so were hunting. They couldn't hear each other's voices... just as Gao Fan couldn't hear the sounds coming from their side.

Moreover, almost every student was on a different floor. Only on a few floors had students gathered together... much like them.

There was no end moving forward, and looking back... there was no end going backward either.

In that mont, Gao Fan felt a chill run down his spine.

"What... is going on here?"

He was so scared he was about to cry. "Big Brother Xiao... let's not play supernatural gas next ti..."

"I'm actually doing fine. Not a single ghost has even popped out yet. What are you so afraid of?"

Ming Po smiled, handing the object in his hand to him. "Here, take this. Stop being scared."

"What is this?"

Gao Fan took it.

It seed to be a ball, a bit like a white ping-pong ball. But it had the texture of jade.

"The security guard's eyeball."

Ming Po stated nonchalantly.

Gao Fan said in disbelief.

In that instant, absurdity completely overpowered both fear and disgust.

Isn't this a supernatural instance??

Why do you have combat rounds?

Ming Po looked at Chen Bingwen beside him and smiled. "I saw the security guard uncle chasing him, so I tried giving him a hand.

I discovered that if you rip off his arms, they grow back. If you snap off his head, he can reattach it himself. Even after I tore him to pieces, he could still heal... It was only when I plucked his eye out that he stopped regenerating.

"So this must be so kind of key item. Be careful not to lose it."

"...Thank you."

Chen Bingwen offered a sowhat forced smile and nodded respectfully in gratitude.

His back was completely soaked in sweat, and he was currently still squatting on the ground, unable to walk.

It was unclear whether his dry heaving was from exhaustion, or...

Gao Fan stayed silent for a mont but surprisingly felt a bit better.

The fear in his heart had been diluted significantly by Ming Po's ridiculously absurd combat prowess.

...Did he do that on purpose?

If he did it on purpose, then Big Brother Xiao was actually quite gentle...

No, definitely not... It was probably just a coincidence.

Gao Fan shook his head.

And right at this mont.

"...Huh?"

He suddenly heard a girl's weak voice coming from ahead.

Gao Fan nervously snapped his head up, only to see an unfamiliar female student walking toward them.

She wore her hair in a ponytail, and she looked rather pale, her face covered in cold sweat.

"Are you guys... here to take the exam too?"

She seed to realize sothing and asked with so hesitation.
