They finally had a clue.

Building A of the resort was the very building they were currently in.

So the clues they were looking for must be on the roof, the second-floor guest rooms, the first-floor dining hall, and that bathtub located who knew where?

The only problem was, why didn't these news reports state the room numbers?

'If only Gao Fan were here,' Ming Po sighed inwardly.

The Ga of Deception was supposed to be "fair."

If three players were pulled in here, it was obviously unfair to randomly eliminate one right at the entrance. That ant there were really only three possibilities.

Either that master had a problem, or the master was already dead.

Or, this ga was designed to accommodate a maximum of three people, and the person who wasn't a "player" would logically exit the stage after the ga officially began.

After all, for him to vanish into thin air without Ming Po sensing any danger whatsoever was entirely unreasonable.

If Gao Fan were here, he could perhaps play the role of this master—after all, his surna was also Gao, making him a sort of master himself.

"aning, the most recent accident occurred in 2016?"

Ming Po suspected that these newspapers were incomplete. There was at least one missing.

Because the resort was ultimately closed due to fire safety issues, but this news from 2016 clearly had nothing to do with fire safety.

Although he didn't know exactly what year the resort was finally abandoned—unlike the newspapers Ai Shiping held, the header on the newspaper Ming Po saw had been cut off, so he couldn't determine the exact date.

But judging from the aging of the facilities, it hadn't been maintained in a long ti.

Many years must have passed since 2016.

'Speaking of which, what year did that Zhang Leyao from the Deceptive School die again?'

'It seed to be the end of 2011, or the beginning of 2012.'

However, by the ti they went there, the school had already been abandoned. Several years must have passed by then as well.

In other words, the tiline of the resort incident should be after the Deceptive School?

These two gas shared the sa worldview, which ant their "specialties" should be the sa. That implied that whatever existed in the Deceptive School could also be present here. These guests might truly have been attacked by ghosts.

Ai Shiping guessed what Ming Po wanted to ask, so he directly addressed the audience: "Hey brothers, am I mistaken? What year is it again?

"What are you talking about! What do you an look at the ti on my phone? If I do that, wouldn't I not be able to see you guys!

"Alright, mods, go ahead and block the guys saying 2013 first.

"2018? 2019? Okay, going once for 2019, going twice for 2019. 2022? Okay, any more? 2024? Kick out the ones saying 2077 first, don't watch my stream, I'm afraid Arasaka will co looking for ."

Ai Shiping joked with the chat, subtly bringing his phone close to Ming Po's face.

Filtering out the chaotic barrage of random comnts, the most frequent answer Ming Po saw was 2022.

Bang!

Just then, from up ahead, the sound of a door being forcefully slamd shut echoed through the air.

In an instant, Ai Shiping and Ming Po simultaneously snapped their heads up and looked in that direction.

It was indeed coming from the direction of the restroom.

"Master? Master Wang?" Ai Shiping shouted at the top of his lungs, "Is that you?"

His voice carried far down the empty corridor, bringing with it overlapping echoes.

Theoretically, there shouldn't be anyone here.

But it was hard to say for sure.

Because Ming Po rembered that during the introductory plot, Fox had arranged for soone to sneak in beforehand and set up so "traps" inside.

After all, at that ti, they didn't believe this place was actually haunted, but this matter should have been arranged.

The police tape on the front door was completely intact, so who knew how they got in.

Could they have climbed over using the cables by the central revolving door?

But there was no response from that direction for a long ti.

"Who is it!?" Ai Shiping's voice already carried a slight tremor.

Ming Po gently kicked Ai Shiping's calf, signaling him to stop dawdling and go check it out.

They crept over to the restroom.

It was supposed to be creeping, but in the dead silence of the hallway, their footsteps sounded incredibly distinct.

"You guard the door," Ai Shiping whispered to Ming Po, "Watch the entrance."

Ming Po knew that Ai Shiping was guarding against a jump scare from behind, so he silently nodded.

Ai Shiping first raised his phone, letting the flashlight beam probe into the restroom.

Only to find absolutely nothing inside.

The urinals hadn't been used in a long ti and had accumulated a thick layer of black dust. The urinal closest to the window, farthest from the door, even had many cigarette butts in it.

Of the four stall doors, three were already broken. Only the innermost door was hanging by a thread, but it seed jamd tight, and Ai Shiping couldn't open it even after straining for a good while.

He imdiately grew annoyed and gave it a forceful kick.

With just three kicks, he completely busted the door open.

As the door fell backward, the things inside were finally exposed.

It was hair.

A dense, writhing mass of black hair.

It filled the entire squat toilet and the corners, reaching almost half a ter high at its peak.

"Ah!" Ai Shiping jumped in fright.

And right at that mont, the hair moved!

Or rather, it wasn't the hair moving, but three black snakes, their color nearly identical to the hair, suddenly darting out from within.

"Ahhhh!"

Ai Shiping's scalp went numb, and his entire body instinctively sprang into the air. Though he didn't know why, it felt like jumping could prevent the snakes from biting him.

Clutching his phone, he scrambled backward as fast as he could.

"Bro, save ! There are snakes!" he yelled dramatically, rushing out of the room.

It was half genuine terror, half playing into his persona. After all, snakes suddenly bursting out of a toilet bowl truly gave him a nasty shock.

As the saying goes, trying to fight a disgusting, untouchable enemy is a losing battle. Nobody knew if the snakes crawling out of the pit were covered in waste, making it a terrible idea to hit them, but equally terrible not to.

But when Ai Shiping reached the doorway, his expression shifted slightly.

Because there was no one at the restroom entrance.

Ming Po, who was supposed to be guarding this spot, had vanished.

anwhile, on the other side.

After Ming Po saw Ai Shiping enter the n's restroom, there was no more movent.

Five whole minutes passed, and there was still not a single sound from inside.

"What, does he need to take a dump too?" Ming Po muttered.

After standing guard for a while longer, he finally grew a bit impatient.

On the other hand, he was also genuinely worried about Ai Shiping.

"Hey, are you dropping a load in there?!" he called out loudly, "If you're using it, at least say sothing!"

There was still zero reaction from inside.

Finally, Ming Po decided to wait no longer.

"Brothers, I'm going in to take a look," he whispered to the cara, switched on the high-powered flashlight hanging at his waist, and hoisted the cara with one hand.

Unlike the dim light from Ai Shiping's phone, the mont Ming Po clicked the switch, the entire restroom was lit up as bright as day.

Yet, flashing the light inside revealed an empty room.

Three of the stall doors were entirely missing, while the fourth door was leaning halfway over.

"Are you in there? Did you fall into the pit?" Ming Po said, walking straight over. "If you don't speak up, I'm kicking it down."

Without hesitation, he raised his foot and sent the door flying with a single kick.

The footage barely even trembled!

Although the Detective Title had reduced his stamina, it was quite obvious.

Just as the Titles from the Domain of Force hadn't significantly reduced Ming Po's intellect, "Detective" hadn't truly crippled Ming Po's physical strength either.

However, the fourth stall was also completely empty.

Ming Po's expression instantly tightened.

He tried shining the flashlight out the window, only to find that the window was sealed shut and couldn't be pushed open at all.

Ai Shiping, who had just entered the restroom to investigate, had vanished right before his eyes.
