Now reading: Chapter 99: The Third Ming Po from Game of Deception, a Adventure novel by wuxiafull.

Ai Shiping clenched his jaw, his knuckles white from his grip, his face contorted with exertion.

Gathering every ounce of his strength, he delivered a single blow that completely smashed Ming Po's head!

Bang!

With a muffled thud, blackish-red blood splattered in every direction.

The sudden pressure forced the eyeballs to pop out of their sockets as the skull cracked open.

Ming Po staggered violently backward.

He hadn't expected Ai Shiping to react like this.

With nearly half of his head caved in, he slowly pulled himself upright.

"Interesting."

Remaining in that grueso state, he spoke in a calm, curious voice: "What gave it away? How did you figure it out?"

"Everything gave it away!"

Ai Shiping stepped forward, gripped the hamr with both hands, and rcilessly brought it down from above for another brutal strike!

As the hamr fell, "Ming Po" collapsed with a splash, disintegrating into a pool of fresh blood.

It was like popping a water balloon.

The blackish-red blood sprayed outward, splattering across the tips of Ai Shiping's shoes and his pant legs.

But as the blood landed on the ground and his clothes, it didn't soak in.

The mont it touched a surface, it turned into dried bloodstains. It looked as if the stains had been left there years ago, dull and blackened.

Ai Shiping panted heavily, his heart pounding violently in his chest.

"Ai Shiping?"

A voice ca from outside the door. "What are you doing?"

"Ah, just taking care of an impostor."

Ai Shiping took a breath, trying his best to steady his trembling voice. "An impostor pretending to be you.

"But there were way too many flaws. I saw right through it instantly."

He wasn't exaggerating.

Ai Shiping had indeed seen through the truth at a glance. First of all, when Ming Po saw him, there was no way he would just sit there with a curious look and ask what he was doing.

Ming Po would have imdiately walked up and kicked him.

Because if he hadn't ordered Ming Po to stand guard at the restroom door and had instead let Ming Po follow him inside, none of this would have happened.

Even though Ming Po had silently agreed and followed the plan, it wouldn't stop him from delivering a kick as punishnt for suggesting such a stupid idea.

He knew that Ming Po actually hated being alone. The fact that they had been separated into different areas was probably terrifying for him.

Not because he was afraid of encountering danger himself, but because he was terrified that Ai Shiping would run into danger.

After all, Ming Po knew how to defend himself, while Ai Shiping didn't. That fear would make him fly into a rage—much like a parent who becos furious out of sheer panic when their child wanders off.

Secondly, he had learned from the stream's chat that Ming Po had already taken down a ghost.

That piece of information revealed several things:

First, the audience watching Ai Shiping's stream was definitely not normal.

Second, the "ghosts" in this place could be defeated through physical attacks. After all, when they separated, Ai Shiping had kept all the talismans. And since Ming Po's Title offered no special effects, he could only rely on physical strikes.

Third, Ming Po had already engaged in combat.

It wasn't that Ming Po would necessarily be injured or covered in signs of battle after a fight.

Rather, since Ming Po had already been in a fight, it was impossible for him to be so calm upon seeing Ai Shiping.

Because Ai Shiping could have run into a fight as well.

Even if it was only a "possibility," the mont he saw Ai Shiping without a weapon in hand, he would have definitely demanded, "Where is your hamr?"

These were things easily deduced just by paying attention to the intel provided by the chat and putting himself in Ming Po's shoes.

By then, Ai Shiping had already realized sothing was wrong.

"I see."

The Ming Po outside spoke in a flat tone. "It's not a big issue, though. He doesn't have our intel.

"Looks like we need to agree on a secret signal first. But before that, open the door, Ai Shiping."

"Haha, I'm not opening it."

Ai Shiping sneered. "Because you're a fake too."

"Are you asking for a kick?"

Ming Po's tone turned hostile. "Open the door! Don't make say it twice."

"Not bad, you learn pretty fast."

Ai Shiping clicked his tongue in mock amazent, sneering. "Realized sothing was wrong and started adjusting already? Which AI model are you using?

"..."

"What the hell are you babbling about?!"

Ming Po cursed loudly. "Open the door!"

"Hahahahahahaha!"

Ai Shiping laughed so hard he could barely contain himself. Tears stread from his eyes, and he practically rolled on the floor.

He had never heard Ming Po curse in a Northeastern dialect before.

Ming Po had a strict upbringing; he almost never swore and was incredibly emotionally stable.

But on the rare occasions he actually wanted to curse, he would fire off a rapid string of Shanghai dialect that Ai Shiping couldn't understand at all—a trait Ai Shiping actually shared.

His usual "holy shits" were just habits picked up from gaming too much; when truly angry, he would definitely start spewing his own regional dialect.

This scene was simply too hilarious. He hadn't even heard that accent from him before.

The "Ming Po" outside was absolutely right about one thing—he truly didn't know their real intel.

In this world, his na really was Ai Shiping. Their nas matched reality.

But obviously, their backgrounds didn't!

Ai Shiping scrambled to grab his phone, tapping away frantically. "Oh my god, oh my god! I need to figure out if I can export this stream's video—guys, guys! Are there any clippers in the chat? I need a clip of that last part, make it quick please, thank you!"

He felt so regretful right now. If only Ming Po could have seen this himself!

A massive crash suddenly echoed from the main door, as if soone had smashed it with a hamr.

Clearly, the "Ming Po" outside had flown into a rage out of humiliation.

But right at that mont, the faint, distant sound of the music box abruptly stopped.

Following that ca the sound of a door opening.

"Huh?"

"..."

Ai Shiping heard a sound of confusion from Ming Po.

Imdiately after, sounds of a struggle broke out beyond the door—though calling it a struggle was a stretch; it wasn't very intense.

Because after only two or three exchanges, Ai Shiping heard a dull thud.

It didn't sound like a hamr hitting the door. It sounded more like soone's head being grabbed and slamd into it.

Once, twice, three tis...

Muffled thuds rang out in rapid succession, followed by the sound of a hamr crushing a skull. It was a sound Ai Shiping knew all too well, having just heard it monts ago.

A short while later, the door beeped, and it was suddenly opened from the outside!

Ai Shiping's pupils shrank slightly, and he took a half-step back.

The person slowly strolling in from the outside was none other than Ming Po.

He carried a cara in his left hand, while his right hand held a hamr still dripping with blood. His entire upper body was practically soaked in crimson. There were even a few droplets of blood on his face and glasses.

Only his hair remained perfectly neat, looking as though it had just been combed. His calm gaze carried a hint of ferocity and madness—making him look more like an evil spirit than an actual evil spirit.

He glanced at Ai Shiping, pushed up his glasses, and said nothing.

He rely cracked a slight, unsettling smile, then slowly began advancing toward Ai Shiping.
