[Chapter Size: 2000 Words.]

Third Person POV.

The Gift.

...

...

Jon headed to the camp filled with rage. While his orders were clear—no one was to raid any village or town in the North—being in such a large group ant no one would dare attack them.

"Is there anyone here who dares to defy my orders?" Jon asked angrily, summoning all the leaders who followed him.

"It was Barr, he gathered his n and left the day before, starting to attack nearby villages in search of loot. Three other groups joined them," one of the n comnted.

Barr was the leader Jon had put in place of the Lord of Bones. He didn't trust the man, but as long as he didn't disobey Jon's orders, Jon didn't care—until now.

"So we have a group of 400 free folk out there. Do they think I'm an idiot? That I won't kill every last one of them?" Jon spoke, replacing his anger with a cold tone.

"My lord... they think that now they've passed the Wall, they no longer want to be your soldiers... saying they'll claim their place in the South. That it's their right." One of them murmured nervously, so much so that no one usually used 'my lord' to speak to Jon, but no one really wanted to face an enraged Jon at that mont.

"So be it... I will hunt each one of them myself." He announced, taking everyone by surprise.

"Are you serious?" Mance asked, surprised.

"Yes... I command this place. I wouldn't normally do this, but I'm responsible for all of you, and I made it clear we would not attack the common folk of the North. They have nothing to do with our fight, so I am responsible for those villages." Jon said. He was ruthless to his enemies, but he hated putting people in danger who had nothing to do with his rage. That's why he let most of the guards who kept invading castles stay alive.

"Besides... it's been a long ti since I've hunted. Maybe it's ti to return to my old hobby." He said in a cold tone, while most there looked at him, wondering if hunting 400 people could really be soone's hobby.

"Then let a group go with you." Mance still insisted.

"No, I'll go only with my animals. It's ti to test my direwolves. We have so ti. Just take care of the camp and make sure no other foolish group leaves. Set the example, because in a few days, they'll all be dead." Jon said and turned to leave the tent as everyone watched him.

"Jon, let go with you!" Val, who had been by his side in the eting, quickly exited the tent, demanding to go too.

"It will be faster if I handle it myself. Just take care of the other girls, while Mance commands the camp while I'm gone." He said, also asking her to keep an eye on the Night's Watch patrol, hoping Jeor Mormont would remain in command to defend the Wall against the dead.

Jon didn't wait long. He just went to the tent with Val, explained the situation, and although Ygritte was as insistent as Val about wanting to go with him, he refused.

Jon wanted this to be quick and deadly, and no one better than himself for that. So he stepped out of the tent the next mont. Even though it was already close to nightfall, everyone was watching him, already knowing what he planned as the rumors quickly spread among the leaders.

"Wish I could go too, but it looks like you're set on going alone." Tormund approached Jon at that mont as he nodded.

"It's better this way. Besides, I'm not alone," he said as several direwolves began moving through the camp, following Jon.

He had gathered even more direwolves since returning to the North, finding the highest concentration of them near the Wall, due to the animals—or rather, their prey—disappearing from the North as the dead took over everything.

More than fifty direwolves, with Ghost leading the others, followed Jon. After taking in so many packs, he had a powerful group now. At the sa ti, wings echoed across the sky as Winter flew near the camp.

Everyone could see Jon wasn't playing around. As he hunted the rebels with the fangs of his beasts, it would be a true massacre.

Jon took only one horse—he couldn't ride any of his wolves, not even Ghost. After all, wolves didn't have the structure for that. He then galloped on, using his powers to bond with the animal, enhancing its endurance and keeping it from fearing the predators surrounding them. All the wolves advanced at his side, while Winter remained in the sky.

He rode through the night as soon as darkness fell, not stopping until he reached the village attacked according to Mance, arriving at dawn. The place was an even worse sight than so of the villages Jon had seen in Riverrun. The free folk tribes had managed to be even worse than Lannister n.

Bodies of all genders and ages lay scattered on the ground. Jon felt responsible for it and quickly picked up the trail, continuing on while casting a recovery spell from his invocations on the horse to keep going.

Finding them wouldn't be hard. His wolves could easily track the scent left behind, and this terrain wasn't like the land beyond the Wall where they knew how to hide well. Here, the ground was warr and many tracks were left behind.

It was midmorning when Jon noticed they had split into at least four groups.

"Idiots... this will make it easier to kill them." Jon decided, already eager to wipe out half the group.

His eyes turned white as Winter soared into the sky under Jon's will, now in the body of the female dragon. With a much better view, he spotted the group like tiny ants at least twenty kiloters away.

Jon's eyes returned to normal as the wolves waited for his command. He had made up his mind—he would go with the wolves for one group and destroy the other entirely with Winter's white flas.

There was no rcy now, and he quickly set off with his wolves toward one of the groups.

An hour passed as Jon had taken control of Winter again. She spotted the group he intended to kill, moving across a plain near a small town full of farms, which seed to be their next target.

What they didn't expect was the giant dragon above them. Winter didn't bother to announce her presence. By the ti they noticed, it was only through the disturbance in the sky caused by the beating of her wings, and most of them had only a mont to look up in horror as she dove down and unleashed a blast of white fire, killing the majority in a single breath—so fast it was doubtful they even felt their deaths approaching.

Quickly, those who managed to stay outside the reach of the flas felt the wave of air freezing around them, making them scream in pain from the burning sensation the ice brought.

But Eragon didn't stop there. As she turned back, she kept spewing fire at the "ants" scattering in all directions. Not even hiding under trees helped them—they were easily killed as the area froze completely.

All those who remained of the nearly one hundred n could only scream and wait for death to co. There was no negotiation with the dragon—only death.

It didn't take long for Jon to eliminate the last of them through Winter.

The real Jon was elsewhere, his eyes returning to normal after killing all the enemies.

The trail he was following was close by, and he quickly picked it up again with the wolves at his side.

He found them near midday, having lunch in a forest with various food they had taken from the villages they raided.

They seed fairly relaxed, eating there along with so ga they had caught in the forest.

"Do you think Jon might be coming after us? He said no one should attack the North..." one of them asked with so concern since leaving the main group.

"You ask that every damn day. If you wanna suck up to that southerner, go back to his camp and let him boss you around!" another replied angrily.

"Stop thinking about it. He won't even care about us while he's heading south for war. Let's plunder and take all the northern won we can find," a third answered cheerfully.

Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuh

Then ca the howl, making the hundred n there turn in shock toward the forest. The sound, more monstrous than wolf-like due to its power, ca from Ghost himself, erging as the alpha, with the other direwolves beginning to move through the woods.

Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuh

Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuh

Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuh

Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuh

"What is that?!"

"Wolves! We're surrounded!"

"What if it's the direwolves from the camp?!"

All around them, the howls of the beasts echoed, and they suddenly realized they were trapped.

YOL TOOR SHUL!!

Then the explosion from the Thu'um words ca from one side—before that side lit up in red. Suddenly, a blast of fire erupted, consuming all the trees as it swept into the camp. The n still had their weapons in hand, looking in all directions, panicked by the howls.

The flas rapidly surged into the camp, engulfing many of them. Screams rang out as they were burned alive, while those who could, ran in all directions around the fire.

That was when the rest began to flee the clearing, running into the woods.

They ran from the burning camp as the fire spread through the forest, with Jon killing dozens of n using, for the first ti, all three Thu'um words—causing destruction that only an adult dragon could match with its flas.

While the fleeing n rushed through the forest, they felt sothing approaching. As they looked to the side, they saw a giant wolf charging at them—then the tearing began, as fangs tore into them one after another.

Then, with them scattered, the true hunt began.

All through the forest, direwolves brought down n, killing and devouring them. Screams echoed from every direction.

They weren't foolish enough to not understand what it ant—Jon had marked them as prey, and now they were being hunted down one by one.

The screams across the forest continued for so ti, until finally the surroundings began to quiet, the only sound left being the fire spreading through the area.

More than sixty n were devoured by fifty direwolves, hunted down to the last. It had been easy—wolves that could have been attacked by nearby companions would retreat when that happened, only to return later and finish the hunt.

All of them were easily killed, and now Jon walked among the corpses, staring at the fire. His gaze turned to the sky as Eragon descended, spewing white flas to extinguish the fire. All the wolves backed away from the cold caused by the freezing—the chill was too intense, even for them.

Jon moved out of the area and chose to follow the remaining two trails. One of them held captives—won taken by the free folk from the villages. He rode again. Half of the enemy was dead in a single day, and he wouldn't rest through the night as his horse pushed forward.

He found another destroyed village and followed the path until reaching a third, where Burr's n were in the middle of raiding it.

First, he found an area where the captives from the last village were held. Only about twenty n guarded the place, and Jon, along with his wolves, killed them all before they even realized what was happening.

"Let's go. Let's kill these ones too," Jon said, with the wolves readying themselves to charge into the town.

He rode forward at a gallop, with fifty direwolves howling as they ran beside him—drawing the attention of the free folk in the town, who were looting and killing, now staring at the wave of beasts rushing toward them.

And leading those beasts was the one they feared the most.

There was no negotiation between them—only the cruel wait for death.

Raccoon Here:

You must be wondering why I added this situation to the story, but I truly believe it's sothing that would actually happen, given the context of so of the free folk tribes—so would quickly try to raid villages and tornt the people of the North. After all, this is Ga of Thrones, and nothing is very pretty in this world.
