It was deep into the night.
Samwell sat on the edge of the bed, reading by the soft glow of the magical lamp. He took out the things he had bought during the day.
One copy of the Draco Daily, one volu of The Celestial Dragon Epic, and one volu of The Legend of the Holy Knights.
He opened the newspaper first.
It was filled with dense text and several pictures. The front page featured a large photo of Lord Luke, beneath which was a long article titled: Lord Luke Attends the Grand Opening of Draco's First 4S Store, Promises More Employnt Opportunities for the People.
Sam read carefully.
The newspaper had many sections: news, announcents, job advertisents, comrcial ads, reader letters… and even a serialized novel column.
In the job advertisents section, dozens of positions were listed:
"Jaqenion Family Guard recruiting new soldiers. Excellent benefits, als and lodging provided, housing and land distributed." "Draco Supermarket hiring cashiers and stock clerks. No gender restriction, preference given to those who can read and write." "Wanxiang Plaza hiring security guards, cleaners, and waitstaff. Monthly salary to be discussed." "Jaqenion Academy hiring teachers. Requirents: bachelor's degree, patient, passionate about education." "Jaqenion Academy student recruitnt. Requirents: ages 10–15, already registered as a citizen…"
Sam's eyes lit up.
Jaqenion Academy?
He set the newspaper aside and picked up The Celestial Dragon Epic.
Late at night, in his room at Draco Hotel, the gentle light of the magical lamp illuminated the pages.
Samwell leaned against the headboard, holding The Celestial Dragon Epic, completely absorbed.
What he didn't know was that this thick hardcover book — along with The Legend of the Holy Knights beside it — had been ticulously crafted by Luke at a cost of two million USD. He had hired one hundred web novel writers from Longguo and ten experienced screenwriters to create these "epics."
Two million USD. One hundred writers. Ten screenwriters.
This scale would leave any traditional author speechless. But for Luke, it was rely part of his "cultural export" plan.
He wasn't just writing a few good books. He was creating a myth. A myth belonging to House Jaqenion.
The Celestial Dragon Epic consisted of twelve volus totaling millions of words. The book in Sam's hands was only Volu One!
The story was set in the "Middle-Earth World."
In ancient tis, humanity was weak. Countless demon gods existed on the continent, warring over faith and territory. Humans lived like ants in their shadows.
The tale began with humanity's "Jaqenion Chronicles."
It was essentially a magical retelling of Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
The "Han Dynasty" had been changed to the "Jaqenion Empire."
The founding emperor, "Skywalker Jaqenion," was the "Son of Heaven," an incarnation of the Seven Gods.
He led humanity's rise and established the first empire in human history — the Jaqenion Empire.
By the fourteenth generation, the "Great War of the Demon Gods" erupted.
It was an earth-shaking conflict. Gods fought, mountains crumbled, and the sky split. In the end, the seven victorious demon gods beca the Seven Mortal Rulers, each founding a nation and controlling one of the seven elents: wind, fire, water, thunder, ice, rock, and grass.
The Jaqenion Empire beca the "Eighth Ruler," representing humanity.
The Jaqenion bloodline possessed the unique "Chaos Bloodline," allowing them to wield both battle qi and magic. With this special power, they preserved humanity's final sanctuary and dignity.
However, five hundred years later, the "Khaenria Catastrophe" occurred.
The empire barely survived the disaster, only for the vassal lords to rebel and declare themselves kings.
Thus began the "Jaqenion Chronicles."
— The Three Kingdoms period.
A descendant of the royal bloodline, "Liu Bei Jaqenion," awakened the Chaos Bloodline and vowed to "restore the Jaqenion legacy and spread justice across the land."
Starting from nothing, he recruited the Red-Faced Knight "Ulysses Guan Yu," the Roaring Knight "Mars Zhang Fei," and the wise mage "rlin Zhuge Liang." Through great hardship, he founded the "Kingdom of Jaqenion."
It was a heavily modified version of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, infused with magic and battle qi.
The "generals" were warriors who wielded battle qi, capable of splitting mountains and rivers with a single strike. The "strategists" were mages who could turn the tides of war with clever plans.
The Peach Garden Oath beca a magical vow of alliance.
The Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage beca a desperate plea for a great mage.
The Battle of Red Cliffs beca a clash between fla magic and water forbidden spells.
After the deathbed entrustnt at Baidi City, the three human kingdoms stood in stalemate.
The new king of Jaqenion, Liu Shan, was a hopeless ruler. However, he had a remarkably gifted young prince… "Haibolun Jaqenion."
From a young age, the prince was tutored by the Saint Magus rlin and the Holy Knight Ulysses the Red-Faced God of War. He possessed superhuman wisdom and strength, becoming both a Grand Mage and an Earth Knight by the age of fifteen.
After Liu Shan's failed northern campaign, he passed the throne to the young prince Haibolun.
Over the next sixty years, Haibolun worked tirelessly and reunified the human realms, restoring the Jaqenion Empire.
The later story beca a magical adaptation of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
However, all the protagonists were changed to mbers of the "Jaqenion bloodline." It was always the Jaqenion family leading humanity in saving the world.
Bilbo beca "Belbo Jaqenion." Frodo beca "Frodo Jaqenion." Aragorn beca "Aragorn Jaqenion," a descendant of the Jaqenion royal line, capable of wielding both battle qi and magic.
Although the Jaqenions saved the world multiple tis, a thousand years after defeating the Dark Lord Sauron, the Middle-Earth World faced an unstoppable "Apocalypse"…
The story stopped there, leaving a massive cliffhanger.
This was the full twelve-volu epic, but Sam only held the first volu: "The War of the Demon Gods and the Khaenria Catastrophe"…
The Legend of the Holy Knights was different.
The protagonist was no longer of the "Jaqenion bloodline," but a farr's son nad "Xu Sanduo A-Gan."
This story was a fusion of Soldiers Sortie, Throne of Magical Arcana, Forrest Gump, and others.
The tiline was set one hundred and twenty years before the "Apocalypse" in The Celestial Dragon Epic.
Xu Sanduo was an ordinary farm boy — clumsy, slow-witted, and constantly mocked. Yet he possessed a pure heart and an "never abandon, never give up" spirit.
Through countless hardships, he grew from a despised failure into a Holy Knight.
He protected his hotown, his country, and the people he loved.
He had no Jaqenion bloodline and no innate magical talent. He relied on sweat, perseverance, and his eternally pure heart.
This book focused more on the cultivation system of magic and battle qi, personal growth, patriotism, and heroism.
If The Celestial Dragon Epic was a grand family saga, then The Legend of the Holy Knights was the heroic journey of an ordinary man.
The two books complented each other. Currently, they were quietly infiltrating Westeros!
It wouldn't be long before nearly every noble house possessed copies.
At this mont, Samwell was completely imrsed in the world of The Celestial Dragon Epic.
