It was Christmas once again.
This year's Christmas was different from the past.
Instead of spending it at the Daddario family ho, Luke took his girlfriend Mia Daddario, her sister Alexandra Daddario, and his "white moonlight" Li Zijin to a wooden villa estate in the foothills of the Nevada mountains for a holiday.
Three won, one man.
In any other situation, this would be a recipe for a battlefield of jealousy.
However, under Luke's overwhelming personal charm, the three won actually got along surprisingly well.
He didn't use any spiritual power to interfere or manipulate them — that was his bottom line. He had no interest in forcing won to love him with spiritual power. That would be aningless and provide no sense of conquest!
Yet these girls simply refused to leave him. They were madly in love with him, unable to free themselves!
They even made an agreent: fair competition.
Luke would eventually marry one of them. Whoever wanted to beco the bride would have to rely on her own abilities.
To this, Luke simply replied: Do as you wish. I'll just enjoy myself.
During the day, they went skiing.
The slopes of the Nevada mountains were long and steep. Luke led the three girls racing down from the summit, snow spraying everywhere, their laughter echoing through the valley.
Mia was the best skier, darting like a nimble snow fox. Alexandra followed closely behind, letting out excited screams from ti to ti. Li Zijin was a beginner and fell several tis, but each ti she laughed and got back up, continuing onward.
Luke stayed by her side, teaching her hand-in-hand.
In the evenings, they cooked together.
Mia was skilled at Western cuisine — pan-seared steak and roast turkey, all top-tier. Alexandra handled the sides and desserts; her molten chocolate lava cake was divine. Li Zijin took charge of Chinese dishes. Even a simple tomato and egg stir-fry made the two Arican girls nearly swallow their tongues in delight.
Luke helped with the prep work and occasionally stole bites.
The kitchen was filled with laughter and delicious aromas.
It was wonderfully carefree.
On Christmas Day, three "Santa Clauses" appeared in the villa.
Mia wore a red Christmas dress with a fluffy hat, holding a gift bag. Alexandra wore the sa style but in dark green. Li Zijin wore a classic red velvet robe with white trim, looking like an oriental fairy straight out of a painting.
The "reindeer," however, was only Luke.
He was under imnse pressure.
All three Santas were waiting for him to present gifts.
Luke had co prepared…
For Mia, he gave a limited-edition Tiffany necklace. When he put it on her, the girl's eyes sparkled.
For Alexandra, he gave a set of custom high-end skiing gear. Top brand, professional level. She imdiately tried on the ski suit and twirled around the living room several tis.
For Li Zijin, he gave a Patek Philippe watch. When she took the gift box, her hands were trembling.
"This is too expensive…"
"It's not expensive," Luke said with a smile. "You deserve it."
Li Zijin's eyes almost welled up with tears.
Late at night.
In the living room, the fireplace burned brightly. Underfloor heating and air conditioning kept the entire room warm and cozy. The three girls were sprawled across the sofas, fast asleep.
Mia rested her head on Alexandra's lap, Alexandra leaned on Li Zijin's shoulder, and Li Zijin's head tilted to the side, a smile still lingering on her lips.
They had drunk too much red wine and talked about too many things, finally succumbing to sleep.
Luke quietly covered them with blankets.
He looked at the three sleeping faces, and a warm feeling rose in his heart.
Then he turned and walked to his own room.
With a thought, he returned to Westeros — Draco.
In the study, the magical lamp cast a soft, bright light. Luke sat in his chair, took a deep breath, and felt the subtle dizziness that ca with switching between the two worlds.
Then a semi-transparent screen appeared before him:
[Strength: 11] [Constitution: 11] [Intelligence: 11] [Spirit: 11] [Ice Strength: 0] [Fire Strength: 1] [Fire Resistance: 1] [Light Strength: 0] [Dark Strength: 0] [Ice Resistance: 0] [Fire Resistance: 1] [Light Resistance: 0] [Dark Resistance: 0] [Free Attribute Points: 31]
Ever since his last battle with the Three-Eyed Crow, Luke had been hoarding his free attribute points.
Through this year's various operations — declaring himself king, holding a military parade, distributing leaflets, printing the holy book, recruiting Barristan, pursuing Sansa… his free attribute points had reached thirty-one.
The reason he hadn't added points earlier was that he had focused most of his energy on researching and developing his spiritual power.
Now, his control over spiritual power could be described as incredibly precise. With just a glance, he could invade soone's mind. If he wished, he could kill anyone within fifty ters instantly.
His ability to control others' minds had also grown much stronger.
In addition, combining modern dical knowledge with wild theories about human potential from the internet, he had begun researching the human body.
With his powerful spiritual power, he could scan every detail of the human body, every ridian.
It seed… he had actually discovered sothing extraordinary.
At this mont, a faint stream of energy swirled in his lower abdon.
Under his control, the stream ford a small vortex and began circulating through his eight extraordinary ridians.
He stood up and assud a horse stance.
He took a deep breath.
Then threw a palm strike forward.
Bang!
The air exploded with a sharp crack.
Papers on the desk flew everywhere. Several sheets were even torn to shreds by the palm wind.
Luke looked at his palm and murmured:
"Is this… inner energy? Or… true battle qi?"
He pondered for a long ti but couldn't figure it out. It felt like he had grasped sothing, yet also nothing at all.
Forget it.
Ti to add points.
He focused on "Fire Strength" and "Fire Resistance."
He had barely touched these two attributes before. Fire Strength was only 1, and Fire Resistance was also only 1.
With a thought.
Free attribute points dropped from 31 to 11.
Ten points poured into "Fire Strength," and ten into "Fire Resistance."
[Fire Strength: 1 → 11] [Fire Resistance: 1 → 11]
Instantly, a powerful surge of heat flooded his entire body.
His body began to emit a red glow.
Then, uncontrollably, he started floating upward.
Flas erupted from within him.
Orange-red flas engulfed his entire body.
They burned away his clothes, turning them to ash in an instant.
But they did not burn his hair.
Nor did they ignite anything in the study.
Luke felt as if he wasn't being wrapped in flas, but rather imrsed in warm spring water.
It felt incredibly comfortable.
He didn't know how long it lasted.
His body slowly descended back to the ground.
His bare feet touched the floor, feeling a trace of coolness.
He slowly opened his eyes.
A flicker of red light flashed within them, as if a fla was burning inside.
At that mont, the study door was pushed open.
Sansa Stark walked in.
She had co to discuss sothing with Luke. She wanted to ask him to secretly transport her by ship to the north shore of the God's Eye. She wanted to go ho and reunite with her mother in the Northern army.
Luke had allowed her free access to the main house without needing to announce herself.
So she had simply walked in.
Then she saw…
A completely naked man standing in the center of the study, his body still radiating heat. His eyes burned with flas, and faint red light still lingered on his skin.
Sansa's face instantly turned the color of a cooked shrimp.
Her mouth opened wide, wanting to scream, but no sound ca out.
She didn't know where to look. Looking up, she saw his face — those flaming eyes staring at her. Looking down…
She absolutely could not look down!
The next second, she turned and ran.
She ran out of the study, down the corridor, back to her room, and slamd the door shut with a bang.
She leaned against the door, her heart pounding wildly.
The title of "Steam Girl" had just been firmly earned.
In the study, Luke watched the girl's panicked reaction and the corners of his mouth curved upward.
He casually found a new set of clothes and put them on.
Then he headed straight for the "Dragon Egg Incubation Chamber."
Outside the stone house, the guards were on night duty.
Seeing Lord Luke approach, they all saluted.
Then they watched in shock as Lord Luke walked directly through the door.
The door leading into the extrely hot incubation chamber.
The door that ordinary people couldn't even stand near for a second.
He just walked right in.
The guards looked at each other, eyes filled with awe.
Inside the incubation chamber, the temperature was terrifyingly high.
An ordinary person couldn't endure even a second at the entrance. The new clothes Luke had just put on instantly caught fire and burned away again.
But this ti he didn't care.
After Fire Strength reached 11, he had gained "Fire Immunity."
Immune to high temperatures.
He didn't know exactly how many degrees he could withstand. In truth, he had walked in quite slowly — nowhere near as casually as the guards had perceived.
He was also testing his limits.
Now, he stood before the three dragon eggs.
His breathing was sowhat labored.
It felt like standing under the fiercest sun.
Although uncomfortable, he could endure it.
He placed his hands on the three dragon eggs.
Through the warm eggshells, he could feel the heartbeat of the little lives inside.
Thump, thump, thump.
So strong.
He slowly closed his eyes.
He imagined flas.
He imagined raging, blazing flas.
A few seconds later, with a hum, his entire arm ignited with orange-yellow flas!
The flas didn't co from outside to wrap his arm — they erupted from within his skin, his flesh, his bones.
His palm had beco a "flathrower."
Flas continuously sprayed from his palm like flowing water, landing on the three dragon eggs.
In his spiritual world.
Luke's right hand also emitted fla-like streams.
Three tiny baby dragons were tilting their heads, licking his fingers like puppies, swallowing the flas.
Their chubby little wings fluttered nonstop.
They looked like three little dogs drinking milk.
Luke smiled.
So his flas could serve as "nourishnt" for these little ones.
Ten minutes later.
Luke felt a wave of dizziness.
He slowly reduced the flas until they disappeared.
The three little ones stared at him with eyes so cute they could kill.
Although they were burping contentedly, their eyes seed to say: We want more!
Luke scooped up the three little ones and laughed.
"No more, no more. I'm tired. We'll do this again tomorrow!"
"Hurry up and hatch, little ones."
His consciousness returned to his body.
He slowly opened his eyes and looked at the three dragon eggs before him.
The patterns on the eggshells seed even clearer than before.
This was an unexpected delight.
Previously, he had tried many ways to raise the temperature of the incubation chamber using high-tech equipnt from Earth. But simply raising the temperature wasn't enough. The temperature didn't need to be too high — only up to a certain threshold. Beyond that, higher temperatures were useless.
Now he understood: what the dragon eggs needed wasn't pure high temperature, but "living flas."
Flas with life force.
After Fire Strength reached 11, he could create "fireballs" at will and snap his fingers to ignite flas. He never expected these flas could beco nourishnt for the dragon eggs.
He felt a little regretful that he hadn't added points earlier.
Otherwise, the dragon eggs might have hatched even sooner.
However, using flas truly consud a lot of stamina and spiritual power.
Just ten minutes and he already felt exhausted.
Luke took a deep breath and left the incubation chamber.
Behind him, the three dragon eggs lay quietly.
Inside the eggshells, three little lives were growing strong.
It wouldn't be long now.
He could feel that the dragon eggs would likely hatch within the next few days!
