Now reading: Chapter 221 - 220: I’m Very Busy from Gasp! She's a Time Traveler Using Modern Tech to Improve Ancient Life, a Romance novel by Bamboo Lin.

In a small study transford into a photography studio, Lin Wanwan photographed the Village Lady clothing, golden hairpin, and the Imperial Decree, products from the Great Tang palace court. The latter she saved offline, while the first two she posted on Instagram using a VPN, accompanied by the caption: Court attire of a Secondary Fifth Rank Village Lady of the Great Tang.

After doing that, Lin Wanwan opened Word to start writing a book. She had always been telling people she was an online fiction writer, yet never put pen to paper. This ti, Lin Wanwan finally resolved to start writing.

She had been thinking about this for a long ti, and she decided to focus on writing about the Great Tang, popularizing everything about it.

Lin Wanwan nad her book "Tales of the Great Tang," intending to docunt the history of the Great Tang in a lighthearted manner.

Whether or not it gets signed, attracts readers, or becos a bestseller doesn’t matter; there’s no need to consider this, as she doesn’t rely on royalties to make a living; primarily, this task brings her a sense of accomplishnt.

In the future, with an author account and a book, she wouldn’t be considered jobless anymore.

The photos of the Village Lady attire were like a stone sinking into the sea, but the Hu Xuan Dance video quickly gained popularity. This was because Heng Wu’s account already had nearly a million followers from previous Konghou lody videos, bringing in a lot of traffic.

The reason Lin Wanwan went through the trouble of uploading the video using a VPN was to prevent her real identity from being discovered. After all her efforts, she felt digging out her identity would be more difficult.

This ti, the video captured Heng Wu herself, a stunningly beautiful woman, adorned with Hu-style clothing and accessories, making her even more radiant. The dance was the distinctive Hu Xuan Dance.

The passionate and unrestrained dance paired with Heng Wu’s slightly aloof expression created a tempting allure, naturally drawing in more traffic.

Much like the previous Konghou lody videos, this Hu Xuan Dance video went viral overseas first and then beca popular dostically through social dia.

The enigmatic Huaxia classical beauty, already astounding with her Konghou performance, now had such amazing dance skills, truly captivating people.

Many entertainnt companies began making inquiries, and in a short ti, Lin Wanwan received many offers from entertainnt companies.

"Alas, Heng Wu was just born in the wrong era. If she were in modern tis, whether as a dazzling superstar or a music conservatory professor, she could choose either," Lin Wanwan murmured to herself, looking at her account’s direct ssages.

At her ho in the Great Tang, everyone had their own strengths, which would make them talents in the modern age.

Heng Wu was trained in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting from a young age, especially skilled in the Konghou, making her the most cultured; Hong Yan was raised by Mother Xiao as a perfect maid, the most perceptive, and had hairstyling skills; Yun Shang excelled in embroidery; Hua Nong was a master chef; Sun Chuyao was a small language prodigy; even the mute A-Qing, who lived with them, had a knack for communicating with animals.

Of course, the one who won Lin Wanwan’s heart the most was the honest and reliable Kun Lun with divine strength. This big guy completely devoted himself to Lin Wanwan with utmost loyalty, although a bit slow and not quick-witted, still unable to learn the Mao County dialect, he was still Lin Wanwan’s favorite helper for small tasks.

After writing her novel for a while and checking the ti, Lin Wanwan donned her mask and went out to learn driving.

Although she’d had so drinks, her tolerance was good; just two glasses had no effect, plus four or five hours had passed, enough ti for it to wear off. There was no issue practicing maneuvers at the driving school.

She picked up driving quite fast; among the four students in the car, she was the quickest learner. She had already devoured the books on theory, passing the first subject of the test in one go a couple of days ago. Now, she had no weaknesses in theory and was quite stable in practice.

First, her mindset was stable, keeping calm when driving on the road; second, she had a good sense of direction and distance, so her driving skills advanced rapidly. She had already scheduled her second test, just waiting for it to comnce. Barring any surprises, she should be able to obtain her license in a month.

Everything was on track, just that Lin Wanwan was too busy. Buzhou Studio had already transferred the paynt for the auction text minus the taxes to her, and she still hadn’t found ti to treat Lu Shouyue to a al, leaving the latter with so resentnt.

She barely managed to squeeze modern-day ti, considering it was taken from her sleep hours. Luckily, she only needed six hours of sleep each day, otherwise, it would’ve been even harder.

After finishing her driving lesson, Lin Wanwan’s phone rang; it was Lu Shouyue calling. He had called earlier, saying he’d pick her up for dinner once she was done with driving.

"Wanwan, are you done over there?" Lu Shouyue’s voice ca through.

Lin Wanwan replied, "Yes, I’m done."

"Then co to the driving school’s entrance; I’ve just arrived."

"Okay, I’m coming."

Today, Lu Shouyue was driving a low-key Phaeton. Lin Wanwan wasn’t knowledgeable about cars, for her, it was just a Volkswagen, one of the few plates she recognized.

Lin Wanwan smiled and said, "Mr. Lu, I didn’t think you’d have such a down-to-earth vehicle."

Lu Shouyue smiled slightly and said, "I’m always quite down to earth."

Since the driving school was far from Jie Yuting’s restaurant, Lin Wanwan unknowingly fell asleep on the way.

After all, she had factually entertained all day! Hosting a banquet in the Great Tang during the day, then being dragged by a drunk to play make-believe for over an hour in the evening, then rushing to the modern world, creating videos, writing a book, and learning to drive for half the day—no wonder she was tired.

In modern tis, it was 12:40 PM, and converting to Great Tang ti, it was nearly 3 AM; it was no wonder Lin Wanwan was exhausted.

The night in the Great Tang was dayti in the modern world; Lin Wanwan had to deal with jet lag too, which was actually more tiring.

Lu Shouyue drove the car to the parking lot, turned off the engine, and found Lin Wanwan sleeping soundly with no sign of waking up.

"I really don’t know what you were doing at night to end up this tired?"

Lu Shouyue only thought about it for a few seconds, then decided not to wake her. He leaned over, reclined her seat, and pulled his overcoat from the back seat to cover her.

Then he slid back the sunroof, allowing the mild early spring noon light to gently shine through the glass, which was far more comfortable and safer than turning on the car heater.

After doing all this, Lu Shouyue watched Lin Wanwan for a while.

He saw her skin, crystal clear like snow, full of tension, her long lashes casting shadows below her eyes, making her appear as defenseless as a baby, exuding an air of innocence and purity, though her figure beneath the coat was still apparent.

Lu Shouyue’s eyes lingered on Lin Wanwan’s naturally red lips, becoming more profound, his heart restless.

Having such a stunning beauty lying beside him was a thought that couldn’t keep him calm.

Lu Shouyue took a deep breath, fetched his laptop from the back seat, and forced himself into work mode, pushing away the vivid thoughts in his mind. Just looking without touching was torture, it was better not to look, or else it would drive a person crazy.
