Just as Lin Wanwan was driving to the club entrance, she received a call from Su Yanwei.

She thought he was urging her, but upon answering, she heard his anxious voice: "Sister Wanwan, Han suddenly fainted. We called 120, but they said it would take half an hour to arrive! Are you there? It might be faster to take her to the hospital in your car."

"Don’t worry, I’m just at the entrance."

As she spoke, Lin Wanwan had already driven to the entrance, honking twice.

The club manager had also started his car to prepare for the transport, but as he drove, he saw a hurried man from the bustling crowd carrying the unconscious woman onto a Cayenne.

Though he wasn’t needed to drive soone to the hospital anymore, he didn’t stop his car imdiately but stepped on the gas and followed.

A guest fainting at the club entrance was a situation he had a duty to follow up on both emotionally and ethically.

If things turned out grim, he would need to report to the boss and prepare for any aftermath.

"How’s Han’s condition? Is she still breathing? Start CPR imdiately if she’s not!" Lin Wanwan asked Su Yanwei while driving.

"She’s sowhat conscious; she just groaned a bit. Not sure if it’s low blood sugar. She was talking about dieting during the banquet today, only drinking without eating much."

Lin Wanwan retrieved a box of chocolate from the storage compartnt behind the gear lever and handed it back to Su Yanwei, saying, "If it’s low blood sugar, try feeding her a piece of chocolate."

"Got it."

By then, Han had regained so consciousness, was drenched in cold sweat, clutching her stomach in pain, reluctant to eat the chocolate fed to her, weakly saying, "I... it’s nstrual pain."

"nstrual pain? Is it always this severe for you?"

Han had no more strength to continue speaking as she held her stomach and fell into semi-consciousness.

Lin Wanwan, glancing at her condition from the car’s rearview mirror, sensed sothing was wrong, not ordinary nstrual pain. She pressed harder on the accelerator.

Arriving at the hospital entrance, Lin Wanwan scanned a code while shouting, "There’s soone fainted in the car, needs ergency rescue!"

The security guard took a look inside the car, imdiately refrained from thorough checks, returned to the booth to open the barriers for passage. He also directed the vehicles ahead to clear a path, pointing out the way to the ergency center for Lin Wanwan.

As Lin Wanwan drove directly to the ergency center entrance, the inside-notified doctors had already wheeled a trolley out to et them.

Lin Wanwan stopped the car at the entrance, got out, assisting Su Yanwei in transferring Han Qingxue to the trolley. Then, she nudged Su Yanwei to park the car properly, while she followed the dical staff into the ergency room.

Su Yanwei, who had drunk quite a bit tonight, was originally unfit to drive, not even in a parking lot, but with urgency overriding rules, he could not care less now.

"Can you hear us? What are you feeling?"

Yet, Han Qingxue showed little response.

"It’s abdominal pain," Lin Wanwan replied in her stead.

"How long has it been painful?"

"She didn’t ntion it before; said it just before fainting."

Doctors set heart monitors, and asured blood pressure while asking what she ate today and activities done.

Lin Wanwan responded to the doctors’ questions while feeling Han Qingxue’s pulse.

The dical staff, seeing Lin Wanwan’s deanor resembling a traditional dicine practitioner, did not bother her, focusing on saving the patient.

After feeling the pulse for five to six minutes, Lin Wanwan had so speculations. The pulse indicated pregnancy but not normal pregnancy.

Lin Wanwan was already quite experienced with pregnancy pulses.

The Great Tang lacked contraception thods, most people had little nightti entertainnt, so what else was there to do but create humans?

Thus, once basic living standards were t, quite a few won showed pregnancy pulses, whether at the embroidery workshop or within Lin Family Manor.

As the dedicated doctor for Lin Family Manor and her household’s employees and servants, Lin Wanwan had encountered such pulse indicators most frequently.

"Blood pressure too low!"

"She’s in shock!"

"Abdominal ultrasound, suspected ectopic pregnancy," Lin Wanwan shouted.

"Do an abdominal ultrasound!" Doctors simultaneously shouted while exchanging glances with Lin Wanwan, asking, "Traditional dicine?"

"Yes!"

Following a race against ti, bedside ultrasound was done, confirming ectopic pregnancy from various indicators.

What Han Qingxue thought was her period was actually severe bleeding; she thought her delayed period was finally arriving.

This was a gynecological acute abdon, urgent surgery was necessary.

Due to the critical condition, with the patient in life-threatening shock, laparoscopic surgery was not possible, directly proceeding to open abdominal surgery. Doctors sought Lin Wanwan’s signature for confirmation, and without hesitation, she signed her na.

Not to ntion Han Qingxue being her employee, even encountering an unknown girl fainting nearby, Lin Wanwan wouldn’t ignore and let her die.

Like it or not, she was already a practitioner of traditional dicine, reciting the Great Doctor’s Sincerity by Sun Lao before reading dical texts every day.

In learning traditional dicine, dical ethics must be paramount.

Han Qingxue was wheeled into the ergency surgery room for operation, Lin Wanwan was urged by dical staff to handle hospitalization procedures.

After completing all formalities, Lin Wanwan imdiately contacted accountant Zhou in charge of finances, asking her to check Han Qingxue’s employnt registration form for family contact information overnight.

Accountant Zhou curiously asked what happened to Han Qingxue; Lin Wanwan vaguely replied she fainted, needing to contact her family, without directly revealing the cause of her fainting.

This was Han Qingxue’s private matter; whether she cared or not, Lin Wanwan would not spread it.

At this ti, both Su Yanwei and the club manager had parked their cars, approached to inquire about the situation.

Lin Wanwan first dealt with the club manager, informing him that the fainting was unrelated to their venue.

Upon hearing it was unrelated, the manager didn’t ask further, said so polite words before leaving.

"Is it really okay?" Su Yanwei asked Lin Wanwan once the manager had left.

Lin Wanwan shook her head: "The situation is unpredictable."

With her cousin, Lin Wanwan had no reservations, directly informing him of Han Qingxue’s actual condition, instructing him to keep it confidential.

Such matters as ectopic pregnancy could be either minor or major; without promptly conducting hemostasis and termination surgery, it might lead to death.

Even if the surgery succeeded, it didn’t guarantee smooth sailing; postoperative blockage in the fallopian tube could lead to infertility — though the likelihood of infertility from a single ectopic pregnancy is extrely low.

Su Yanwei asked, "The surgery requires a signature, right? Did you sign it, Sister Wanwan?"

"Yes."

"At the dinner table, I overheard Han ntioning she was cohabitating with her boyfriend. Should’ve called him for the signature if I’d known earlier," Su Yanwei frowned, saying, "If issues arise, it’ll be a hassle."

Lin Wanwan replied: "Couldn’t wait for her boyfriend to rush over; her situation was urgent, every second was a risk. She’s an employee of my company; coming out tonight I was originally responsible for her safety. It’s fine, don’t worry about ."

"Alas!" Su Yanwei sighed, frowning at the surgery room door, saying no more.

With the signatures already signed, saying more wouldn’t matter.
