Now reading: Chapter 375: Legendary Weapons from Gathering Wives with a System, a Action novel by FailedWriter101.

Isaac didn’t open the system right away.

Instead, he turned to Catherine and held out his hand.

"Give your hand."

She looked at him for a second, then placed her hand in his without hesitation.

Her palm was soft, and warm.

Isaac closed his fingers around it and focused.

A faint system ripple passed between them.

He transferred the Weapon Ticket and the Conqueror Trial Ticket.

Catherine raised an eyebrow, but she didn’t pull her hand away. She didn’t interrupt him either.

Only after the transfer completed did Isaac speak again, this ti silently.

’System, share all Weapon Tickets and Conqueror Trial Tickets from Catherine and Alice!’

The response ca imdiately.

Weapon Ticket Gacha (Legendary) x2 gained.

Conqueror Trial Ticket x3 gained.

Isaac grinned when he saw the ssage.

He ran the numbers in his head without difficulty.

Alice now had one Weapon Ticket and one Conqueror Trial Ticket.

Catherine had one Weapon Ticket and two Conqueror Trial Tickets.

He himself had two Weapon Tickets and three Conqueror Trial Tickets.

If he gave one Trial Ticket to Alice, all three of them would have two.

That was enough.

Enough to attempt the Conqueror Trial without the pressure of a single failure ending everything.

"You can use the Weapon Ticket I gave you. I have enough for myself," Isaac said aloud.

Catherine nodded.

Her expression didn’t change much, but Isaac could see the calculations moving behind her eyes. That sharp, familiar look she got when she was already planning three steps ahead.

He sighed inwardly.

’She’s probably thinking of optimization routes. Or worse, thinking of setting up with more won.’

Before she could say anything, Isaac spoke first.

"I can’t share things with just anyone even if we kiss."

Catherine paused.

She turned her head slightly toward him. "Is there an extra condition?"

"Affection. Both people need enough affection for each other that they’d be willing to die for the other."

He shrugged after saying it, as if it was obvious.

The system had never explicitly stated it. There was no line of text spelling it out.

But Isaac was certain.

His system didn’t share benefits with companions, partners, or lovers.

It shared benefits with "wives".

If affection didn’t matter, there would be no reason for an affection ter to exist at all. And the system wouldn’t be called the [Bonded Blessing System]. It would have been sothing else entirely like [Harem System] or [Douchebaggery System].

Catherine’s eyes glowed faintly gold.

She activated one of her skills, scanning him directly. It was the truth verification skill.

After a few seconds, the glow faded.

She nodded.

"That’s a sensible limitation. Your ability is powerful, but it demands sothing real. True feelings are hard to fake, especially if soone is only thinking about benefits."

She smiled, then added lightly, "So you do love a lot."

"I do," Isaac said, shrugging again.

Catherine pouted a little, clearly dissatisfied with how easily he accepted her teasing now.

"Anyway, let’s use the Weapon Tickets."

Catherine nodded and opened her system screen.

Isaac did the sa.

The familiar interface appeared in front of him. He selected the Weapon Ticket without hesitation.

The screen shifted.

A new gacha interface unfolded, clean and simple. Most of the options displayed were Legendary.

Like normal Gacha, you could get weapons of any rank here. However, there were over 50% chances to get a Legendary weapon.

He used the first ticket.

The gacha wheel began to spin, slowly at first, then faster.

Light flickered across the screen as weapon silhouettes passed by: swords, spears, staffs, blades of unfamiliar shapes.

Then it slowed.

And stopped.

A massive warhamr materialized in front of him.

It hovered in the air for a mont before settling into existence.

The head was broad and angular, forged from radiant tal that seed to drink in light rather than reflect it.

Faint golden lines ran along its surface like veins. The handle was long, wrapped in dark material that felt warm even from a distance.

A na appeared.

Solis Breaker

Rank: Legendary (Growth-type)

Skills:

Solar Accretion: Stores sunlight. The more sunlight stored in the weapon, the higher its damage increases. Can store up to one week of sunlight.

Supernova Impact: Releases all stored sunlight in a single, overwhelming explosion. The attack carries Holy and Fire attributes.

Gravity Well: The hamr can increase its own weight by up to 100x instantly, pinning enemies to the ground by resting the hamrhead on them.

Dawn’s Restoration: While held in direct sunlight, the wielder heals minor wounds and regenerates mana five tis faster. Any damage to the weapon heals over ti when placed under dawn light.

Condition for upgrade:

Wield Solis Breaker continuously from first light to sunset of the seventh day, spending all ti in combat. Must fight alone, or if fighting in a group, no ally may die.

...

Isaac stared at the screen for a few seconds.

Then he raised an eyebrow.

"...That’s powerful," he muttered.

The hamr radiated presence. It wasn’t subtle at all. Even without bonding, he could feel its weight, not just physically but conceptually. This was a weapon ant to dominate battlefields.

Legendary.

Growth-type.

And solar-aligned.

He reached out and grabbed it.

The mont his hand wrapped around the handle, another screen appeared.

[Do you wish to bond to Solis Breaker?]

"No," Isaac said imdiately.

The bonding prompt disappeared.

Catherine looked at him with clear curiosity. "You’re not bonding with it?"

"It’s better suited for Alice," Isaac said.

That was the truth.

Alice fought head-on. She endured. She pushed forward even when she shouldn’t. A weapon like this would amplify everything she already did well.

Isaac preferred... well, he preferred farming and relaxing. He did like fighting too, but now, he was starting to enjoy easygoing life more.

This hamr was a declaration. A challenge to the world. It suited the fiery Alice more.

Catherine humd softly, clearly approving.

"Good judgnt."

Isaac didn’t respond. He was already activating the second ticket.

The gacha spun again.

Legendary again.

This ti, the result was very different.

Instead of a solid weapon, a cluster of crimson rose petals appeared on the screen. They hovered gently, moving as if caught in a slow, invisible current.

Each petal was sharp along the edges, thin as a blade, and faintly translucent. Dark red veins ran through them, pulsing slowly.

A na appeared.

...

Sanguine Thorns

Rank: Legendary (Growth-type)

Skills:

Infinite Bloom: The petals can form any shape. Be it shields, drills, threads, or individual needles. The petals can also be used to sense the surroundings.

Blood-Scent Tracking: Once a petal drinks soone’s blood, it allows the wielder to track that individual’s location.

Wither & Rebirth: If the wielder receives a fatal blow, the petals may sacrifice themselves to weave a cocoon, restoring the wielder instantly. The weapon’s rank will drop to Mortal for one week after activation.

Bloodthirst: The more blood the petals consu, the sharper and stronger they beco. Their numbers can increase by consuming the blood of powerful awakeners or monsters.

Condition for upgrade:

The Million-Drop Rite: The petals must drink the blood of 1,000 different species.

...

Isaac raised a brow.

A single red petal materialized. It drifted down, slowly and stopped in front of his face. It hovered there, spinning slightly, as if waiting for permission.

A bonding request screen floated beside it.

Isaac ignored it.

Instead, he focused on the weapon itself.

"This..." he muttered.

Once again, it was a growth-type weapon.

And once again, it was strong. Strong enough that it made him excited.

Isaac took a breath to calm himself. He looked at the description again, slower this ti.

The weapon was flexible, lethal, and defensive and offensive at the sa ti.

"It fits both you and Celia," he said to Catherine.

He waved his hand and projected the weapon’s information screen between them. The red petals drifted aside, giving Catherine a clear view.

She read it.

After a few seconds, she nodded.

"Give it to Celia."

Isaac turned to her. "You’re sure?"

"Yes," Catherine said without hesitation. "From the description, this weapon requires constant multi-point control. You’re not just moving one blade. You’re managing dozens of independent weapons at once."

She tapped the air lightly where the petals were displayed.

"Most of my focus is already divided between my clones. Even if I can technically handle it, adding another layer of fine control will reduce my overall efficiency."

She paused, then continued, more thoughtfully.

"And beyond that... controlling these petals requires high spatial awareness. Not just sensing positions, but understanding movent, overlap, and reaction timing. Celia already has a skill related to that."

Isaac nodded slowly.

"She can sense everything within a limited radius," Catherine continued. "Her telekinesis has forced her to learn precise control, and fine adjustnts."

She glanced at Isaac.

"In short, this weapon suits her better than it suits ."

Isaac let out a quiet breath.

"That makes sense."

The decision was easily accepted by him.

He hadn’t gained anything for himself this ti.

And that was fine.

Isaac was, at his core, a farr.

His main responsibilities were the farm and the city.

He already had tools for that.

A hoe.

A plow.

Both were legendary "weapons" of imnse potential, and Isaac was satisfied with them.

It was better to give proper weapons to the people who would actually be fighting.

His wives.

Emily already had a powerful weapon. One that had allowed her to ta and command monsters far beyond what should have been possible at her level.

Thanks to that, their forces had grown faster than expected.

Now, he could give sothing to Celia.

And Alice already had Solis Breaker waiting for her.

A small smile appeared on Isaac’s face before he could stop it.

This was good.

This was right.

And if he kept upgrading his system, if he kept pushing its limits, then one day...

He might be able to share their weapons too.

Then, he could wield everything they had built together.

"Use my ticket too," Catherine said suddenly.

Isaac looked at her. "You’re sure?"

She nodded. "Yes."

She folded her arms and leaned slightly against the table.

"It seems like your ability influences the gacha results. The draws you make tend to produce things that benefit people you’ve bonded with, or your "wives"."

She gave him a sideways glance. "If I draw for myself, I might get sothing completely random. But if you draw for ..."

She smiled lightly. "There’s a better chance it’ll be sothing useful."

Isaac considered it.

Then nodded.

"That logic checks out."

He held out his hand again.

Catherine placed hers in his, fingers interlacing naturally this ti. There was no hesitation. No awkwardness.

The transfer happened instantly.

Weapon Ticket x1 gained.

Isaac didn’t waste ti.

He activated the ticket.

The gacha wheel appeared once more.

It spun.

At first, Isaac was relaxed. Expectant, but not tense.

Then the silhouettes passing by began to change.

They grew sharper, and more defined.

The color was darker.

And at that color, the wheel slowed.

Then, stopped.

And Isaac froze.

"...How?"

The weapon that appeared before him was unlike anything he had seen before.

It was black-green, segnted, and unmistakably hostile.

A blade ford from dozens of interlocking sections hovered in the air. Each segnt was edged with fine serrations, and faint toxic vapor seeped from the seams between them.

The weapon flexed slightly, like a living thing.

"What did you get to look that shocked?" Catherine asked.

"Check for yourself," Isaac said.

He projected the weapon’s information screen.

The mont Catherine saw it, her expression changed.

To disbelief.

...

Blight-Steel Centipede

Rank: Imperial (Growth-type)

Skills:

Neuro-Decay: Every strike reduces the target’s Movent Speed and Casting Speed by 15% (Stacks up to 4x).

Coiling Constriction: The whip wraps around an enemy, and the serrated segnts click shut, locking them in place. Once locked, the blade injects a Paralytic Core directly into the bloodstream, rendering the victim unable to use skills for 10 seconds.

Miasma Flick: The wielder snaps the whip through the air, atomizing the poison coating. This creates a cloud of invisible, odorless toxic gas in a 15-ter radius. Anyone breathing it suffers internal organ liquefaction over ti.

Hydra’s Split: The 49 segnts detach completely and hover mid-air, connected by thin lines of toxic energy. They spin like saws, creating a "shredding zone" that can butcher an entire squad of soldiers in seconds.

Imperial Art: "The Heart-Stop Kiss": The wielder retracts the whip back into dagger form. If the dagger successfully pierces the target, it dumps its entire reservoir of stored Toxin into them in an instant. If no toxin is stored by wielder, the toxin generated by the weapon, Heart Death, will be used. This toxin forces the heart to beat so fast it explodes, or stops it instantly, depending on the wielder’s intent.

.

Upgrade condition: The Venomous Crucible: The blade must be soaked in the concentrated bile of a Peak Overlord rank Serpent-type monster.

...

"Imperial Grade...?" Catherine muttered.
