A pale and thin woman in a hospital gown lay on the bed, staring listlessly out the window. A stocky young man with short hair and dark skin was holding a bowl of porridge and earnestly trying to persuade her. It was evident that the young man cared deeply for her.

At that mont, it was almost without thinking that one knew the perpetrator of the Jin Dayuan family massacre was this ordinary yet robust young man in front of him.

Confirming that Liu Wei was the perpetrator of the Jin Dayuan family massacre, Luo Fei did not enter the room but cautiously retreated.
"It must be related. Liu Wei was clearly in the hospital caring for his pregnant wife, yet he drove to Peach Blossom Village at night to kill Jin Dayuan’s entire family. This has to be connected to the loss of their child," Luo Fei speculated as he went to the Departnt of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
He found the head of the departnt, identified himself, and asked to see the attending doctor responsible for Liu Wei’s wife, Huang Ying.

The attending doctor for Liu Wei’s wife was nad Zhao Li, a female doctor around forty years old.
"Dr. Zhao, I want to ask about Liu Wei’s wife, Huang Ying’s situation," Luo Fei eagerly inquired as soon as Zhao Li entered the office.
"This is Luo Fei from the Criminal Investigation Unit, currently investigating a case. Zhao Li, please cooperate with Luo Fei’s work. I have another eting to attend, so I’ll leave first," the head of the departnt introduced Luo Fei to Zhao Li and then left the office after greeting Luo Fei.
"Huang Ying?" Zhao Li looked at Luo Fei inquiringly.
"Yes," Luo Fei nodded to confirm.
"Officer, I don’t quite understand what you an?" Zhao Li shook her head, indicating she didn’t understand Luo Fei’s intent.
Luo Fei reorganized his words, "I heard that Huang Ying lost the baby she was carrying. I want to know what caused the loss of the child."
"Oh, well, Huang Ying miscarried due to a fall. Unfortunately, the child was already six months old and fully ford. But because of an accidental fall, the child was lost. I noticed both Huang Ying and her husband seed to like children quite a lot. Because of the child’s loss, Huang Ying hasn’t eaten for days, surviving only on glucose drips," Zhao Li said, with a look of sympathy.
"Dr. Zhao, when did Huang Ying’s fall and miscarriage occur?" Luo Fei asked hurriedly.
"It was about half a month ago, around three in the afternoon. Huang Ying’s husband brought her to the hospital," Zhao Li replied.
"Was it Huang Ying’s husband, Liu Wei, who said she fell?" Luo Fei continued questioning.
"Yes, when we asked about the situation, Huang Ying’s husband said that she accidentally fell in the yard."
"Thank you, Dr. Zhao."
"You’re welco."

Leaving the county hospital, Luo Fei was almost certain in his heart that Liu Wei’s act of killing Jin Dayuan’s entire family was inevitably related to Huang Ying’s miscarriage. Luo Fei suspected that the real cause of Huang Ying’s fall, which led to the miscarriage, was Jin Dayuan, hence why Liu Wei would be driven in anger to wipe out Jin Dayuan’s entire family.
