Luo Fei shut him up with just one sentence, and Luo Xiaoxiao started sneaking giggles again.
Luo Hao secretly shook his fist at her, but had no choice but to yield under the tyranny of his big brother.
At this point, Luo Fei had already changed his shoes at the entrance and reminded the two, "Alright, I’m off to work. Rember to stay safe on your way to school."
"Okay, brother. You stay safe too," Luo Xiaoxiao replied obediently.
Luo Fei acknowledged her, opened the door, and left.
When he got downstairs, he checked his phone and saw a ssage from Yang i.
"So early? I just woke up!"
"I’m really so tired, don’t feel like going to work!"
Followed by a yawning emoji.
Thinking about how Yang i looked when she said this, Luo Fei couldn’t help but curl his lips into a smile and started typing.
"Hang in there, after work today, go ho early to rest."
"By the way, I’m on my way to work now. Do you want to get you breakfast?"
This ti Yang i replied quickly.
"Sure, I’d love so soy milk and fried dough sticks."
Including a smiling emoji.
"Luo Fei, how do you manage to get up so early every day? Why do I need so long to muster the strength to get out of bed?"
Even through the screen, Luo Fei could imagine Yang i’s distressed expression as she said this.
This is probably what they call a chronic difficulty getting out of bed.

Seeing Luo Fei, who had clearly been there for so ti already, everyone just nodded in acknowledgnt, unbothered.
After greeting him, they each returned to their seats.
A little while later, Wang Yong and Zhang Fan walked in yawning. Seeing Luo Fei at his desk, Wang Yong couldn’t help but say, "Captain, you’re the first one here again today!"
Luo Fei put down his book, "Any problem with that?"

As he spoke, he reached for the soy milk on Luo Fei’s desk, "Captain, if you’re not eating, I’ll just—I’m starving here..."
But before he could touch it, Luo Fei slapped his hand away, "If you want to eat, go buy so yourself!"
"Don’t be so stingy, Captain. I’m too hungry to move; just let have a bite and I’ll buy you another one later."
"No way."
"Co on, Captain, your teammate here is about to starve, and you won’t help?"
Wang Yong started goofing around, leaving Luo Fei helpless, forcing him to explain, "No, this is for soone else."
Thinking this would silence him, he was surprised when Wang Yong imdiately detected so gossip.
Luo Fei had been at the squad for so ti, yet this was the first ti he’d seen him bring breakfast for soone, stirring Wang Yong’s curiosity about the events of last night.
He forgot his hunger, instead grinning mischievously, "For soone else, huh? Captain, be honest, is that soone Captain Yang?"
He sensed sothing between these two last night and felt prescient seeing he was right.
Hearing this, Zhang Fan looked tensely at Luo Fei, as it concerned a promise for a treat.
Luo Fei was shocked by Wang Yong’s keen insight and couldn’t resist jokingly scolding, "I wish you’d use that skill to solve cases. Yes, it’s for Yang i, so what?"
Wang Yong anticipated a denial and had even planned his next move, not expecting such an open admission, leaving him montarily stuck.
Had Luo Fei denied it, he’d be sure sothing was up between them, but Wang Yong was unsure with such candor.
"It really is for Captain Yang. C-captain, are you and Captain Yang..."
Rembering his bet with Wang Yong, Zhang Fan eagerly pursued.
"Yeah, that’s right, we’re dating now."
With a calm expression, Luo Fei dropped another bombshell.
Since Yang i didn’t mind, he wasn’t worried about them knowing.
So after saying this, he didn’t concern himself with their reactions, guessing Yang i had arrived, grabbing the breakfast and heading towards the tech room, leaving Wang Yong and Zhang Fan in chaos.
"Zhang Fan, my ears aren’t deceiving , did the captain just say..."
"He might have, might have said he’s dating Captain Yang."
"No way, that’s unbelievable!"
Zhang Fan’s words made Wang Yong shout, catching the attention of everyone in the office.
Zhaocheng curiously looked over, "What’s going on, Wang Yong? What’s so unbelievable?"
"Nothing, nothing."
Wang Yong snapped back, hurriedly shaking his head and brushing it off.
Goofing around is one thing, but he wasn’t foolish enough to gossip about this.
Once he was sure no one paid attention, he huddled with Zhang Fan and whispered, "Never would’ve guessed, how long has the captain been here and when did he start dating Captain Yang?"
"No idea, but it looks recent, otherwise he wouldn’t only now start bringing breakfast."
"Yeah, your analysis seems reasonable."

Luo Fei tid it perfectly. As he reached the tech room entrance, he bumped right into Yang i walking over.
Smiling, Luo Fei walked a couple of steps towards her, handing over the breakfast, "For you."
Though she had accepted Luo Fei’s confession last night, Yang i was still adjusting to their changed relationship. She blushed slightly as she took the breakfast, "Th-thanks. By the way, have you eaten already?"
"I ate at ho. Go on inside, I’ll go over there, and I’ll co find you when I’m free."
Wary that Zhao Donglai might soon ask him about the details of the Xu Dake case, Luo Fei hastily excused himself, leaving.
Yang i walked into the tech room with a sweet smile, imdiately spotting Wu Xiaoyue at the door eyeing her breakfast with a dramatic grin, "Wow, breakfast from love, overnight did you two already get to this stage? Congrats, Yang i!"
"Don’t be silly, it’s just breakfast, how is it love breakfast?"
Yang i blushes, trying her best to hide it, but her slightly red ears betray her.
"Just breakfast? Then why doesn’t Luo Fei bring any for the rest of us?"
"Yang i, you’re an, I helped matchmake you two quite a bit, and now that you’re official, you’re hiding it from —I’m hurt."
Wu Xiaoyue playfully accused, feigning injury.
"Alright, alright, I’ll tell you, okay?" Yang i retorted with a glance.
"Then be honest, how far have you and Luo Fei gotten?"
"How far could we have gotten? We just started," Yang i replied.
Witnessing this, Wu Xiaoyue beca certain sothing happened between these two last night, her innate curiosity itching.
She shook Yang i’s arm, "Co on, Yang i, tell , I’m dying of curiosity here."
