Zhao Donglai had so understanding of Yang Dawei’s family situation, having visited once.
Furthermore, Yang Tianfu had ntioned that Yang Dawei liked eating and lazing around. Besides playing cards, he basically just napped at ho. Without a stable job, where did he get all this money from?
"Are you sure you saw it clearly? Could the surveillance footage have been unclear, leading to a mistake?"
"At that ti, he seed to be greeting soone. Maybe for show, he even specifically raised the money in his hand. I saw it very clearly on the surveillance; there’s no mistake. Also, I made sure to copy that surveillance footage. You can take a look at it yourself later."
"Alright, then put it aside for now. I’ll take a look after interrogating Wang Wenbin."
Just now, Zhao Donglai said that after eating, he and Luo Fei would interrogate Wang Wenbin together.
So after parting with Wang Yong, Luo Fei went to his office.
However, Zhao Donglai might still have been eating, as the office was empty, so Luo Fei simply sat down next to wait for him.
After about ten minutes, Zhao Donglai returned.
"Luo Fei, so you’re here. I was just about to look for you. Let’s go."
Zhao Donglai said, picking up the docunts on the table, ready to leave. Then he suddenly rembered sothing and turned back to ask: "How did I hear that soone from your team had an issue at noon today?"
"What?" Luo Fei was montarily bewildered.
"Was it Zhaocheng? Or who had the issue?"
"Oh, it’s about this," Luo Fei realized and began to explain, "It happened when we were capturing Wang Wenbin. There was a bit of trouble on Zhaocheng’s side."
Zhao Donglai misunderstood and suddenly looked tense, "Are you saying Zhaocheng got hurt? Why didn’t you say so earlier? How serious is his injury? Did he go to the hospital? Wait, I just saw him in the cafeteria!"
"No, Captain Zhao, you misunderstood. Zhaocheng wasn’t hurt; he was just... just harassed."
Zhao Donglai was taken aback, "Ha-harassed? What do you an?"
Zhaocheng, a grown man, how could he be related to harassnt?
"The situation is like this..." Luo Fei quickly recounted the story.
Zhao Donglai was completely dumbfounded.
"So you’re saying, Wang Wenbin harassed Zhaocheng in the police car?"
In police stories, people usually attempt to flee in the squad car or fight the officers. It was the first ti he had heard of soone harassing an officer in the police car.
Zhao Donglai comnted that this was truly an eye-opener.
"It’s nothing for a man!" Zhao Donglai said dismissively,
Luo Fei didn’t say much either. He also felt it wasn’t a big deal for a man to be harassed a bit, so he imdiately headed out, "Captain Zhao, let’s go."
"Wait a mont!"
This ti Zhao Donglai was the one who stopped him.
Luo Fei turned back to see Zhao Donglai pulling out a pair of gloves from the office, "Luo Fei, since you say that guy likes to touch around, I’d better wear gloves. Do you want a pair?"
He even offered a pair to Luo Fei.

Luo Fei nearly burst out laughing. He held back his chuckle, saying, "Captain Zhao, I don’t need them, but don’t you think you’re overdoing it? Weren’t you just saying it’s not a big deal for a man?"
He truly didn’t expect that one day, the usually serious and steady Zhao Donglai would make such a joke.
"You kid! If you don’t want them, forget it. It’s different for ; I’ll wear a pair. This stuff is a bit unsettling."
Ever since Luo Fei and Yang i got together, Zhao Donglai had seen Luo Fei as his junior. So now he didn’t put on any airs in front of Luo Fei.
Luo Fei found it hard to hold back his laughter, repeatedly agreeing, "Yes, yes, I was the one speaking out of turn."
"Haha..."
After a bit of banter, the two went to the interrogation room.
Inside the room, Wang Wenbin was handcuffed to a special interrogation chair, his hands and feet shackled.
Since being brought back, he had been held here. The mont he saw soone enter, he imdiately grabbed onto the table with both hands, extending his neck, "Officer, when can you let go ho?"
"Let you go?" Zhao Donglai reacted as if hearing sothing unbelievable, "You’re currently suspected of molestation and murder. We’ve legally detained you. Until the case is clear, you’ll be going nowhere!"
"Murder? No, you must be mistaken! I didn’t kill anybody!"
Wang Wenbin instantly shook his head vehently, his face showing all the innocence in the world.
But what he failed to realize was that the criminal police team wouldn’t be fooled by a few words, especially officers like the experienced Zhao Donglai!
"Wang Wenbin, whether you killed soone or not will be determined by our public security bureau. Now you need to cooperate with us and answer our questions honestly. If it’s determined you’re wronged, we’ll definitely release you."
"How long will that take? I haven’t killed anyone. If it takes a year to clarify, do I have to stay a year? On what grounds? Anyway, you must release imdiately! Otherwise, I’ll sue you for arresting the wrong person!"
After a brief observation in the car, Luo Fei realized that Wang Wenbin would probably not confess easily.
Though he wasn’t among high-intellect criminals, nor was he particularly educated, he couldn’t even conceal his inner thoughts and emotions.
