At 1:15 AM, Luo Fei and Yang Su walked towards the interrogation room with their notebooks, preparing to interrogate Yang Dawei overnight.
As they passed another interrogation room, they heard Zhao Donglai’s angry scolding inside, along with the sound of him banging the table.
Earlier, after bringing Wang Pingchuan back to the police station, he and Zhang Fan quickly interrogated him.
However, Wang Pingchuan was evidently experienced and consistently gave evasive answers during their questioning, seemingly trying to make a last-ditch struggle.

Indeed, police do use certain tactics during interrogations to elicit confessions from suspects.
But never did they expect Wang Pingchuan to know even this, leaving Zhao Donglai montarily without a strategy.
"Looks like this guy’s mouth isn’t easy to pry open..." Outside the room, Yang Su couldn’t help but lower his voice after seeing the situation inside.

"Wang Pingchuan is the alias of Liu Qingchuan; you still don’t know, do you? He is actually a fugitive wanted by the police of XZ for years, later assuming the na Liu Qingchuan to evade capture."
"And don’t bla for not warning you: if you keep holding out and saying nothing, that’s fine, but Wang Pingchuan is undergoing interrogation right next door, and if he confesses before you do, he’ll get a reduced sentence while you’ll only be envious."
Luo Fei’s words had a significant impact on Yang Dawei!
Since being captured, he had persistently emphasized that the suitcase was rely sothing left with him by a friend for safekeeping, never ntioning anything concerning Wang Pingchuan, with the mindset of taking a chance.
He believed that as long as they hadn’t captured Wang Pingchuan, he might be able to bluff his way through, but now, Luo Fei’s words truly made him anxious.
