As soon as Xiaotian was sent back to the ward, Luo Fei’s phone rang.
The incoming call was from Huang Xu City, so Luo Fei guessed that Teacher Pingping must have notified Xiaotian’s parents.
He quickly answered, and a woman’s voice, tinged with sobs, ca through, "Hello, officer, did you just call saying you’ve found a child nad Lin Tian?"
"Yes, are you Lin Tian’s mother?"
"Yes, it’s ."
"Could you please tell how old your child is, what blood type, and if there are any physical characteristics?"
At this point, it was practically certain that the person on the phone was indeed Lin Tian’s parent.
But in the spirit of due diligence, Luo Fei asked a few questions, to which she quickly responded.
Based on the clues she provided, Luo Fei carefully compared them with Lin Tian and also let Lin Tian speak with the person on the other end of the line.
Upon hearing Lin Tian call "Mom," the woman on the phone imdiately broke down in tears, "Tiantian, my Tiantian..."
They say a mother and child are connected at heart, and at this mont, she was completely sure this was her son.
Lin Tian himself started wailing upon hearing the long-yearned-for voice of his mother.

"Alright, once you arrive, you can call directly on this number, or co directly to Ningjiang County People’s Hospital Pediatric Ward."
"But if you’re taking him, you’ll still need to report back at our police station."
"Okay, we understand, thank you so much for notifying us, truly, thank you."
After hanging up, they comforted Lin Tian for a while longer before leaving.
Before leaving, Luo Fei inford the nurses’ station, explaining that Lin Tian’s parents would be coming soon.
The nurses were all delighted to hear this news for Lin Tian.
Walking out of the hospital.
"Luo Fei, where do we go next?"

But halfway there, he seed to rember sothing, "Forget it, Yang i, you should drive instead."
Saying this, he turned and opted to sit in the passenger seat.
Yang i opened the driver’s side door and got in, casually asking, "What’s up? Why suddenly let drive today?"
"Because my arm’s been hurting a bit..."
Luo Fei said, purposely rubbing the arm she had squeezed earlier.
Yang i hadn’t caught on yet, "What happened to your arm..."
Mid-sentence, she abruptly paused, her eyes and expression turning awkward.
Luo Fei, smiling, pressed on, "Why did you stop asking? Finally rembered?"
Recalling what she did earlier, Yang i blushed and hesitated before speaking.
"I-I’m sorry, I misunderstood you just now...Did I really hurt you that badly? Don’t be mad, you can pinch back if you want."
Saying this, she tenderly lifted his arm, rolling up his sleeve to check for injuries, but seeing his arm completely unscathed, she blinked, then puffed her cheeks and glared at him.
"Oh, Luo Fei, you tricked !"
She insisted she hadn’t squeezed that hard, how could she have really hurt him!
Luo Fei suppressed a chuckle, "How did I trick you? Anyway, my arm hurts, maybe there’s a hidden injury or sothing."
"No way, I’m no martial artist, hidden injury? Co on, if you’re going to lie, at least make it believable!"
Luo Fei couldn’t hold back any longer and laughed heartily.
"Alright, I’m done teasing you. I didn’t sleep at all last night, I’m not fit to drive."
He revealed the truth, earning an unsurprising eye-roll from Yang i.
"And yet you said your arm hurt...take a nap, I’ll wake you when we get there."
"Okay."
Back at the police team, Luo Fei first dropped by the third group’s office to inform Wang Yong and the others they no longer needed to look for Lin Tian’s parents, as they had been found.
Then, without missing a beat, he and Yang i headed to Zhao Donglai’s office.
After reporting on the child’s situation and that the child’s parents had been located,
Luo Fei asked, "Captain Zhao, any results from contacting the uncle?"
After their discussion last night, Yang Dawei and Wang Pingchuan both agreed to cooperate and help lure the uncle out.
When Luo Fei left for the hospital, Zhao Donglai was coordinating for them to start making contact calls.
Zhao Donglai shook his head.

"Any findings from checking his phone number?"

"That’s good, a slow check might reveal so leads."
Luo Fei also knew that urgency wouldn’t help, so he was about to leave after saying that.
Yang i suddenly asked, "Captain Zhao, what reason did the uncle give for refusing to et? Does he suspect that these two have been caught, or is there another concern?"
